To have Mohanji in our lives is the biggest blessing. He not only guides us but takes complete responsibility for our well-being. In the past few weeks, we have heard so many experiences where Mohanji has saved his people from war zones, strokes, accidents and mis-happenings. He suffers quietly but never lets the Mohanji family suffer.
I would like to add my experience to this as well.
On 14th June, I travelled to Delhi to go to Vrindavan for the Shadadhara Pratishtha of the Guruvayur temple at Barsana. I landed around midnight and was really excited about attending this event. But destiny had planned something else for me.
In the morning of the 15th, after taking a bath, as I was coming out of the bathroom, I slipped and fell. In a few minutes, I sat down and took charge of myself as my elbow was scratched and hurting, and I had some bruises on my knee.
Suddenly, I realised a pool of blood near my right foot. I thought maybe I got a cut on the side, but when I looked closely, I saw my right foot’s second last toe was amputated in half, and it looked like a hollow piece of flesh with the bone protruding out. I looked around and found the other piece of the toe lying on the floor. The blood was all around my foot.
I got up immediately and called my staff members, who rushed in immediately and were shocked to see my feet completely red.
That very moment, I got a call from Thea regarding some work, and I told her about my condition. She called off, and a few minutes later, she messaged that Mohanji is with you.
That sentence completely calmed my mind and put me in control of the situation. I called my husband Rajiv, who was in Bangalore, and mentioned the incident. He immediately asked me to rush to the hospital with the remaining toe. My tears started flowing not because I was hurt but because I couldn’t go to Barsana for the event.
My foot was tied to stop the blood flow, and I was rushed to the hospital emergency department. While on my way to the hospital, I suddenly got a call from Dr Wasir for some information he needed, and when I told him about my accident, he said the plastic surgeon who is the head of the department in the hospital I was going to is his classmate, and he will call him immediately. I could see Mohanji’s Leela unfolding.

The call was quickly made, and his friend said he would arrange for his team to attend to me when I reached the hospital. The moment I reached the hospital, the staff informed the plastic surgery team to come to the emergency ward.
When the doctor arrived, he was surprised to see me sitting on the stretcher so calmly. He asked me about the incident and inquired if I had taken any painkillers and I said no. He again asked if I was feeling any pain, and at that moment, I realised that actually I was not feeling any discomfort or pain. He was surprised because if someone else had been there in my place, they would be crying and shouting with pain.
Immediately, my eyes went to the picture of Mohanji on my phone, and my heart was full of gratitude, and my eyes swelled with tears. I realised who was feeling the pain for me.
After the primary investigation, he came up to me and said that it’s not possible to stitch the toe, but they will do grafting of a piece of the skin, shorten the bone and try to save the toe as much as possible. His prime concern was that he didn’t want the toe to go dead. He informed that the surgery would take about 1.5-2 hours. While talking to me, he looked at Mohanji’s picture and asked me who he was, and I told him that he is my Guru Mohanji, and the conversation randomly ended.
The first time I felt the pain was when he pricked me to inject twice on the bone and two on the sides of my foot so that I wouldn’t feel the pain during the surgery. While doing the procedure, he asked me where I belonged and how I met Mohanji, and that took me to my memory lane, and with full vigour and enthusiasm, I started narrating to him my journey with my beloved Guru.
In between, I heard his colleague talking in Malayalam, so I asked him from which part of Kerala he belonged, and he mentioned Calicut. I then narrated to him my visit to Calicut just a few days back to attend the pranprathistha of the Pattisseri temple near Pallakad and experience being there.
He got interested and said that he will definitely visit the temple when he visits his home town. While these conversations were going on, the surgeon said that the procedure was completed. For two hours, I was in complete bliss and didn’t feel any discomfort.

While this was happening, Rajiv called up Mohanji, who was on his way to the airport to fly to Delhi and then travel to Vrindavan. Rajiv mentioned the accident to him, and he replied that he knew about it and that he had averted something big by just this little incident.
After coming back from the hospital in the evening, I was sad that I won’t be able to attend the ceremony in Barsana as I was asked to be on bed rest and will not be able to travel. It was as if he were listening to all my thoughts.
Early next morning, Priyanka Row, who had flown from Goa to attend the function, started sending me pictures from the venue, and I actually felt I was attending the rituals.
After two days, I messaged Mohanji to thank him for being my saviour and shared my experience of no pain and bliss during the surgery. He replied, saying, “You’re very brave”. This message brought a smile to my face, and I felt like a little girl who feels protected and nurtured in the presence of my Father. I replied to him, saying that I’m brave because my Father is the strongest. He takes care of me even when he is not physically present with me.
I’m slowly recovering from this injury, but what I have realised is that there is nothing to fear or be anxious or depressed when you have your Divine Parent like Mohanji protecting you. He will take all the burden, pain, and hurt on himself but will make sure that you’re safe and happy.
Thank you, my dearest Father (Mohanji), my saviour, my guide, for these beautiful moments of life which make us realise how blessed and fortunate we are. You’re the shining light of our dark and gross lives.
