Thank you so much, Mohanji! We’re deeply grateful to be connected with you. I’m not a writer, but this one is special because Mohanji himself is guiding me to share the journey that my husband and I went through.
In 2022, we made the decision to move from Ontario to another province in Canada, primarily to strengthen our chances of getting permanent residency (PR). Little did we know, we weren’t moving closer to PR—we were moving closer to our Guru.
Just a month after the move, my husband was involved in a serious accident that resulted in severe charges. The implications were devastating, and it became almost impossible to pursue our PR dream. Our lives were turned upside down.
Until then, we were like most young couples, enjoying life, going to parties, living carefree. Suddenly, everything shattered. Time stood still. Each second, each day, was filled with sorrow and tears. We reached out to everyone we could for help. Some extended genuine support, while others took advantage of our vulnerability. We discovered who our true friends were and slowly became isolated in our little bubble of pain.
To cope, we turned to meditation, positive affirmations, and manifestation. Every day, my husband sought ways to find peace of mind. One day, he discovered a YouTube channel called ESP Paranormal where Biju Sir was interviewing Mohanji. My husband was drawn towards Mohanji quickly.
I was sceptical at first, given my own background. But I never discouraged him. My husband once asked me to print a picture of Mohanji for his prayer table. Though I couldn’t manage to do it immediately, on a Vishu day, April 14th 2023, I surprised him with a small photo of Mohanji.
From that point, he started telling me more about Mohanji. I felt drawn to know more, too. Since then, we have both felt spiritually connected to Mohanji. Even though our PR situation remained uncertain, we began to sense that things were moving in the right direction. We felt his presence in every person who came into our lives.
We both attended Mai-Tri sessions and got connected with the Mohanji family in Canada. They welcomed us, and it felt like coming home. We spoke to Mahesh ji and Manjiri ji, who listened to our story with open hearts. During times when we felt alone, their support brought us comfort and hope.
Mahesh ji reached out to his contacts to help us and assured us, “Mohanji is with you. Just surrender.” He even spoke to Mohanji on our behalf. Mohanji’s message was: “Blessings, blessings. I am there with him.” (With my husband). There are no words to describe the feelings we had when we heard this. We are eternally grateful.
We experienced Mohanji’s divine energy in everyone we met. Even in court, people came forward to help us. It was nothing short of a miracle. Every lawyer told us the same thing: we wouldn’t get PR, we’d have to plead guilty, and the charges would not be dropped. But we held on to our faith.
Every single day, we repeated to ourselves, “Mohanji will help us.” And he did.
Three weeks before the final trial, my husband received a call from the court. The officer said he was withdrawing the charges. This officer, whom we had seen before, resembled Mohanji in his humility and kindness. He wasn’t the original officer on the case but came as a replacement. We believe Mohanji arranged that.
We returned to court in hopes of meeting him again. Officers at his level don’t usually meet individuals like us. But he came, listened, and reassured us that he was helping.
On the trial date in court, a sheriff opened the door for us—he looked exactly like Nityananda Swamiji. After we waited for some time, the judge entered the courtroom. Tears welled in my eyes when I saw that the judge resembled Mohanji. It couldn’t have been a coincidence. It felt as if they were all working together, divinely orchestrated, to guide us towards a new life.
In that moment, nothing else mattered. We were overflowing with gratitude. Not long after, we received confirmation of our PR. Every obstacle disappeared. This entire experience transformed us from the inside out.
We quit eating meat, embraced vegetarianism, and are aspiring to become vegan. Even our baby daughter—before she turned one—would point to Mohanji’s picture and give him hugs and kisses. It felt like she already knew him.
Following Maheshji’s guidance, we began feeding birds and fish. It took time to find a location, but we finally did. We started doing charity and donations.
We thank Mohanji for the hardships because they led us to the truth. We found the real meaning of life. The lessons we’ve learned have changed us forever. There’s no going back. We have become empty vessels, open to being filled by his grace.
Each day, we are led by Mohanji’s words. I had wanted to write this blog on a day off, but kept forgetting. Today, while watching a video on the Mohanji Official channel, I felt as if he was gently reminding me.
Once again, we offer our deepest gratitude and complete surrender to Mohanji.
