My humble pranams to all who connect to the same eternal consciousness (Ātman) that resides in each of us, beyond roles, identities, or differences. What I share here is not just a travel story, but a journey filled with grace, protection, and divine alignment. Whether it’s a storm of thoughts within or outside, you are always protected.
This journey began to unfold the moment it was decided that I would travel to Kathmandu. Soon after, I thought of visiting my parents in India. Still, I wasn’t entirely sure; my daughter had an important medical exam, and naturally, as a mother, I wanted to be with her. But then I reminded myself: who am I to worry when Mohanji always takes care of everything? What matters most is our sincere effort and the purity of intention.
Eventually, I confirmed my trip to India. The very same day, my mother reminded me to visit our Kuldevata, as it had been more than 17 years since my last darshan of Mahakali at Adivare, Ratnagiri. I also expressed my wish to visit Shirdi, and as if in perfect alignment, Sulakhe Maharaj extended an invitation to both my parents this time.
That very day, it was my turn to read Sri Sai Satcharitra, Chapter 30. To my amazement, the chapter described Vani in Nasik (my parents’ Kuldevata) and Shirdi. After I finished reading the chapter, my dad called and said, “How about visiting Vani and then going to Shirdi?” Wow.
How beautifully orchestrated this entire journey was, Kathmandu, then India, then Kuldevata Ratnagiri, and in a few days, Vani and Shirdi, all seamlessly aligned through Mohanji’s grace.
Usually, when I visit my parents, I remain at home. But this time, I was constantly on the move, travelling in the midst of torrential rains that, by HIS protection, we never even felt.
A Journey Planned and Unplanned
Before leaving the UK for Kathmandu, and later from Kathmandu to Mumbai, my itinerary was simple:
- Visit my Kuldevata in Ratnagiri
- Visit my parents’ Kuldevata in Vani (Nasik)
- Seek darshan at Shirdi Sai Baba and Sulakhe Maharaj
What was not in the plan was something far greater: Mohanji meeting my father, and another unexpected opportunity for me to meet Mohanji again in Mumbai. In Kathmandu, I had the blessing of serving Mohanji as his personal assistant. Every moment in his presence felt like nectar, precious, transformative, beyond words.
The Day Mohanji Met My Father
The original plan was for Mohanji and the team to fly from Kathmandu to Mumbai; however, there was also a possibility of flying to Delhi at one point. However, a silent wish arose within me. My father, who always comes to receive me at the airport, had confirmed he would come this time too. A thought appeared: What if Mohanji meets my father?
I didn’t express this wish out loud. But Mohanji, who knows the unspoken, simply said the day before departure: “I don’t want to go to Delhi, let’s book for Mumbai.”

And so, it happened. Mohanji met my father at Mumbai airport. To see my father take a photo with Mohanji, with Mohanji’s hand resting gently on his shoulder, was the happiest moment of my life. For families unfamiliar with the Guru principle, this joy may be difficult to understand. But to me, it was priceless.
Journey to Kuldevatas and Shirdi amidst torrential rain
In late August, Maharashtra was under an alert for torrential rains. Mumbai, especially, was affected; schools closed, offices shut, and the news was filled with warnings of flooding. Yet, not a single drop of rain disturbed our sacred journey. Our journey to Konkan was very scenic and smooth. Our driver said, “I never drove to Konkan in the monsoon because no one dares to book due to floods.” He even said, “I never saw Konkan so lush and green in my whole life.”

On 18th August, when our trip to Vani was due to begin, my parents suggested postponing because of the heavy downpour. We rescheduled for the next day, but that morning, too, rain poured continuously. At 5 a.m., my father asked again: “Should we really go?” I was firm. Our journey was booked, and I trusted that with Mohanji’s grace, everything would be taken care of. And so it was.
The first hour brought only a drizzle, then suddenly the skies cleared and sunshine broke through. Friends called in concern, asking if we were safe amidst the floods. Yet we were completely protected. No reasoning, no analysis, just HIS shield. After darshan at Vani, we continued to Shirdi, where Sulakhe Maharaj had already invited me and my parents to meet him on 20th August. Though news channels still spoke of flooding, our travel remained smooth and untouched.
Kakad Arati at Shirdi
On the morning of 20th August, I felt an irresistible pull to attend Kakad Arati. My husband suggested donating for closer darshan. The hotel manager, though it wasn’t his responsibility, went far beyond his duty, personally helping me navigate the official website, register my name, and make the payment online.
When I mentioned a donation, he even called a police commissioner friend who advised, “No need for a big donation, just INR 600 for the arati.” The manager helped me patiently, almost like guiding a child who didn’t know computers. I knew then, this was no coincidence. This was HIS hand of protection.
The evening before, Sulakhe Maharaj had firmly told me, “Go for Kakad Arati. Baba is calling you.” And indeed, Baba called. Despite rains, floods, and uncertainties, everything aligned. At dawn on 20th August, I stood before Baba, immersed in the bliss of Kakad Arati. Words cannot capture that divine experience.
Later, when I shared with Mohanji, “We didn’t experience rain at all,” he smiled and simply said, “I take my responsibility seriously.” After the Arati, I met Sulakhe Maharaj. His first question was: “What did Baba say to you?” As if he already knew of the silent communion between Baba and my heart.
Our return to Mumbai was equally miraculous. While news channels flashed warnings of heavy rain, we encountered only a brief drizzle near Shirdi. The rest of the journey was clear, and we reached Mumbai in just four hours. When I informed Sulakhe Maharaj of our safe arrival, he asked: “Did you fly?” Such is the SPEED and GRACE of Mohanji.

Meeting Mohanji Again in Mumbai
Before leaving Bharat, I longed to see Mohanji again. I had already expressed this to him earlier, and he had agreed. Initially, the plan was to meet him in Ganeshpuri, but due to many reasons, it became impossible. Without hesitation, Mohanji suggested meeting in Mumbai instead. And once again, despite obstacles, the meeting happened.
I remember this beautiful moment.
After lunch, Mohanji asked me if I had taken dessert. When I replied “No,” he kindly said, “Please come and have it.” Suddenly, Mohanji added, “I will fill the bowl for you.” He served me a full bowl and asked me to finish it. Later, Jovan, who was with me in Kathmandu, texted, “I noticed that you received a great blessing from Mohanji today when he fed you dessert after lunch.” (I have no photos whatsoever, yet this incident filled my heart with the feeling of love, the love of Guru and disciple, the disciple’s direct connection with the Guru, the Guru who makes things possible without showing any signs of big movement, great movements carried out in utter silence.
When the Guru chooses to meet you, no force can stop it. Believe. HE listens. HE fulfils.
The very next day, I saw this reel and felt how HE always gives in abundance.

This journey was a living example of HIS grace, each step protected, each wish silently fulfilled, each moment aligned beyond logic.
Mohanji’s leelas are beyond explanation, but they are deeply felt in the heart. I share this humbly, with gratitude, in the hope it inspires faith in HIS love and protection.
Om Sai Ram
Jai Mohanji.
