A Musical Gift for Mohanji’s Birthday

I met Mohanji quite unexpectedly a year ago through circumstances that can only be described as divinely guided. I was not looking for a Guru. Yet after receiving shaktipat from Mohanji, I have been taken by profound changes in my inner peace and strength. He is indeed the mirror attributed to avatars. While I claim no deep knowledge of the Path of Pathlessness, the concept resonates with my personal journey. Mohanji’s countenance, wisdom, example and spiritual presence has been a constant reflection and inspiration for me in becoming the spiritual warrior of my aspirations. It has been an additional blessing to spend personal time with Mohanji on several occasions.

Words fail to adequately express the tremendous gift that his presence in my daily personal life has been over the last year. His countenance, wisdom, example and spiritual presence have been a constant mirror and inspiration for me in becoming the spiritual warrior of my aspirations.

People are told not to give Mohanji gifts. I get it, as I’m sure physical gifts simply represent unwanted stuff for someone who treads so lightly in the physical world. As a musician, I was inspired to honor him in some small way on his birthday through the non-physical gift of music. Years ago, I composed a solo piano piece called ‘Dawn’s Embrace’, but was never happy with the recording. For Mohanji’s birthday, I recorded a new version accompanied this time by the songbirds of rural Virginia (USA) where my wife and I live. While I did not expect to receive a response, I was humbled by Mohanji writing back to tell me that it literally took him to a different dimension. Wait… so we’re even now?! LOL!

I share now this composition with you here and hope you enjoy it!
