The story is not about dreams, experiences, or even devotion. It is about how Mohanji completed a journey that had begun long before meeting him, and how the Guru fulfilled a longing that you yourself had scarcely acknowledged. That makes it a true Guru Leela.
When I was sixteen, my mother, who was also my yoga teacher, taught me a simple mantra:
“God is Love, I am God.”
I did not merely repeat it; I believed it. It became the foundation of my meditation and the anchor that carried me through the turbulence of adolescence, difficult experiences, and the endless activity of my mind. My mind was always restless. I remember cycling through a small forest and wondering whether this thing called the mind could ever truly be switched off.
Then one day, while meditating deeply on the mantra and feeling its essence rather than merely thinking about it, something shifted. For the first time, I experienced what I truly am—Love. The mind became silent, and I tasted something beyond thought. How beautiful that my first encounter with spirituality was so direct and undeniable.
Yet, life unfolded. I experienced human love with all its attachments, dependencies, expectations, joys, and pains. Separation, loneliness, misunderstandings, and heartbreak taught me a profound lesson: as long as we look to another person as the source of love, suffering remains. And still, through everything, the mantra stayed with me.
Through the blessings of Sathya Sai Baba and later Gopala Baba, I experienced another dimension of love—a love untouched by distance and separation. Their forms became bridges to an ocean far beyond form itself. But grace had not yet finished its work. During one of the most difficult periods of my life, Mohanji entered it.
Meeting him changed everything.

He brought clarity where there had been seeking. He explained that realising our true nature beyond body and mind is self-realisation, but abiding only in that Truth is God-realisation. Because of our karmic impressions, the body and mind continue to appear real, and only through grace do we remember what we have always been.
With Mohanji, every aspect of my life transformed—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I recognised my Guru. For the first time, I experienced complete inner silence in his consciousness—a vast stillness, all-embracing and timeless, like Shiva himself. And yet, something within me still longed.
Not because anything was lacking in him, but because devotion is deeply woven into my being. I had experienced a very intimate expression of divine love through the forms of Swami and Baba. Mohanji’s approach, however, was different—simple, direct, no-nonsense. I accepted this wholeheartedly because what he gave was beyond form itself.
Yet somewhere, quietly and almost secretly, a longing remained. Then grace moved. One night, Mohanji appeared in my dream. But within the dream, I knew with certainty:
This is not a dream. This is real.
He held my right hand with both hands and wouldn’t let go. He looked into my eyes with such overwhelming love that I completely dissolved. There was only bliss. No thoughts. No separation. Only love. He kept looking at me, and I looked back, absorbed in that love. There was no “Mohanji” and no “me”. Only presence. As I tried to express my gratitude by kissing the hand that held mine, I woke up.
But I knew. He had truly been there. And he had fulfilled the deepest longing of my heart. In that experience, I understood that Mohanji Consciousness is all-inclusive. Whatever is needed, whatever resonates with us, whatever is sincere within us—it is already contained within him. Nothing is missing.
As Mohanji says:
“If God is only love, then you don’t have to prove anything. God loves you anyway. What is the core of spirituality? To be one with God. Are you expressing love? That is being one with God.”
This testimony had already been completed and submitted when Mohanji had yet another surprise in store.

In June 2026, during our visit to MPC Serbia for the consecration of the Shiva Lingam and the Breath of Shiva programme, Mohanji explained during the Weekly Talks that dreams of the Master are not ordinary dreams; they are ways in which the Master reaches devotees and conveys messages.
Later that day, as devotees lined up to say goodbye, Mohanji walked past me and gently but firmly took my right hand—the very same hand he had held in the dream. He continued holding it as he walked. Only when he needed both hands to embrace another devotee did he finally let go. Those few seconds felt like eternity.
A smile spread across my face. Later, while recounting the experience to my husband, I heard myself say: “Mohanji lovingly held my hand and would not let go.” And then it struck me. The dream. He had just confirmed it. Not in sleep. Not in meditation. But in waking life.
He had lovingly sealed the experience and added even more momentum to it. How can we fathom the ways of a Master? He reaches us in dreams and beyond dreams. He fulfils not only what we know we need, but even the deepest longings hidden within our hearts. And I realized that the mantra given to me all those years ago had come full circle.
God is Love. I am God.
And through the boundless Grace of my Guru, I did not merely understand these words.
I experienced them.
