One of the conversations that caught my attention yesterday was something that I’ve heard Mohanji speak about before, but yesterday, there seemed to be a different intensity. There was also a shift in his general state yesterday; it was much more intense after all the rituals. It was a simple question that caught my attention and stopped me from doing my work: “What are you doing for Earth?” The way he said it was profound. He continued it in the Satsang, and I thought it was an interesting perspective that I wanted to share.
Mohanji’s general view on relationships and marriage is that – people should always have their lives; they should always be free, and they should be able to come together. It shouldn’t be out of insecurity or out of a need to be there, but out of a genuine companionship for a higher purpose.
There was an experience yesterday that confirms that when we’re connected to Mohanji, even if we don’t even realize it, there’s such a grace that comes into our lives; the grace that makes things much easier and fluid than they would ordinarily be.
I was thinking, the lesson that I took from this morning is – this is probably a smaller version of his general direction, his pace, and also his destination. Mohanji has always said, “That at any point in time if things become too much, or you want to go back, no problem, you’re free to go. But just remember where you’re going back to – you’re going back to comfort zones, going back to habits, going back to patterns.”

In situations that I found now while travelling, there’s no real ‘this is what we’re doing, so be prepared.’ You have to always be alert and be aware. Even Madhu and I were invited up on stage, and we gave a short speech ourselves too. So ‘being flexible’ is being put to the test all the time.
When you’re travelling with Mohanji, it certainly requires an element of flexibility and the ability to adapt to the pace because the schedule is very busy. And there’s little time to prepare between one event and the next.
Yesterday was our first day here in Palakkad. Although I’ve already talked about how Mohanji works at a pace, I hadn’t yet experienced what it’s like to travel with him. Things have definitely sped up. And you have to be very, very alert, aware, and active to keep up with the shifting schedule and the need of the time. Nothing is completely planned out for the days and events, and day by day, even hour by hour sometimes, things are changing.
