Mohanji’s 54th Birthday Celebrations Touched the World

Mohanji sharing the cake - Happy birthday - Delhi 2019

After Mohanji’s birthday celebration worldwide, He wrote a letter of gratitude. However much we try to express our gratitude to Him by living His teaching, He always gives more. Read another pearl of wisdom from the timeless ocean of love:

“My dear embodiments of purest love,

I am deeply grateful. While I write this, I am filled with gratefulness to each and every one of you and your families for taking me to your heart and doing good for the world on my birthday and beyond. My heart is full because, at least on this day, so many people of various species slept peacefully, with food in their stomach, a clean cloth around them or slept peacefully feeling and understanding that someone out there cares for them. Your kind gesture fills me up. The most precious wealth that I have earned in this life is your love. My favourite abode is your hearts. I love to live there. I love it there. The “life” in your hearts is my inspiration, love in your heart for me is my food and energy. I love you and care for you more than you perhaps are aware. I work all the time for your welfare and well-being. I do not live for myself. I do not need anything more than the human basics. You are truly my family, my true family, who stood by me through sunshine and rains, thunders, lightnings, tsunamis, earthquakes, summers, winters and springs of life. How can I leave your hand ever, since you have never left mine? I am grateful.

Food, Clothes, and Shelter are the basic human needs. Health care, education etc. follows. It is the responsibility of every citizen of this world to share food, clothes and shelter with those who do not have them. Compassion is the higher consciousness that we have inherited from the great selfless masters who guided us selflessly. What you share, you have, as grace. Whatever you earn from earth, we do not have forever. Give more than we can take from earth. Share whatever you have been empowered with. Our net worth on earth is what we are able to share with the world, not what we earn temporarily from here and leave behind when we leave. Our signature on earth is the ability to share unconditionally. This is the real humanness.

My birthday is not so important. If February 23rd reminds you of your highest consciousness, where the expression of it is compassion, kindness, selflessness, unconditional love, Ahimsa (non-violence), purity in thoughts, words, actions, sharing whatever you have in abundance and caring for all living beings equally, without discrimination, I am grateful. Do celebrate it. I am not so special and nor is my birthday. I am just like you, a living, talking, eating, sleeping, working human being. I have no greatness more than you have. Yet, if you remember me as “consciousness”, and if my presence is a reminder to you of what we truly are, (that you and me are one), do celebrate. And celebration should be strictly by adding value to the society around you, in whichever way you can. Look at all the people of all the species, through the eyes of compassion, kindness and love. Serve them. Love them. This should be ideally a consciousness day, not a birthday.

We have been talking about the reason for us coming together here on earth, in this space, now. It is perhaps the urge of our souls for liberation, as well as experiencing a full and complete life, while we are in the body. This needs consistency in practice. Consistency is not easy, primarily because of the pressure of memories or impressions of past pleasures of life, including relationships, spaces, events and materials. It is not easy to detach from them and focus on completion. Karma demands natural fulfilment. Fulfilment is its completion and culmination. Then why is it getting repeated? The answer is memories, impressions of pleasures or pains that keep re-appearing to bring us back to the terrestrial path of wishes, desires and fulfilment. Combined with our inherent instinctual ownerships (me and mine), we get trapped again and again in the cycle of karma, which means re-births and re-deaths as bodies. If we have come here, come together at this time, for the sake of stabilising this awareness and moving beyond it together, as one family, you need to have consistency, conviction and compassion.

Ego is a silent killer. It kills the beauty of relationships without us being aware. And so are our ownerships. The medicine for ego as a disease is humility. If we consciously practice humility, we will certainly have a good life. Likewise, one of the projections of ego is social importance. This is a silent enemy too. It walks with us and makes us dissatisfied with what the society offers us. The medicine for this is practicing insignificance. Humility and practice of insignificance will give our lives immense stability and satisfaction. Along with this, if you also learn self-acceptance with all your weaknesses and strengths, you will add to your stability. And finally, of course equally important is your ability to expect less from the society and environment around you. The less the expectation, the higher the satisfaction. So, this year, let us consciously practice these as part of our higher consciousness. Humility. Insignificance. Self-Acceptance. Less Expectations. Once again, contentment per second is a clear sign of spiritual stability.  So,

Ego X Humility

Self-Importance X Practicing Insignificance

Insecurities X Self-Acceptance

Disappointments X Less Expectations

Thus, let us practice positivity, totally ignoring negativities of life. If people love you, be grateful. If you get help, be grateful and reciprocate. Always give more than you receive, thus maintain your inner richness. And do not misuse or waste any materials or means that you get to handle. Be life always, consciously. Live your highest consciousness.

We are experiencing various kinds of dense energies which are causing much confusion in many minds around the world. We have to be aware of the dense energies. But, we must definitely handle those situations with maturity, calmness and perfect awareness that whatever comes to you is indeed food for experience, whether we like it or not. Acceptance. Acceptance without expectations. Look at it calmly without emotions and allow the storm to pass without ruffling your inner space. Not everything in life will be palatable always. Sometimes we have to live with bitter stuff too. This is part of life. Accept it. Allow it to come and go. Do not resist it and prolong it.  When you are unaffected, everything vanishes spontaneously sooner or later. When we resist and fight it, it stays longer.

Once again, immense gratitude for your kind gestures, including positive actions, words, expressions, thoughts, calls, messages and everything else. I love you and am always with you. Wish you and your respective families, good health, wealth, abundance of love, happiness, peace and spiritual bliss.

Much Love Always

Yours

Mohanji”

Devi Mohan, the ambassador of Mohanji Foundation

“How to wish a Happy Birthday to the one who has everything and needs nothing… – may your golden presence, the cup that overflows, reflect back at us the beauty of liberated existence, the beauty of service, the beauty of togetherness dedicated to the higher purpose of leading others into the Light brighter than the thousand suns. The greatest, most transforming moment of my life was the moment when I wished to serve the world together with a living Master…
Only Love is real and on this Golden Path we have been truly blessed to realize that.
Blessed to enjoy Your rare physical presence on this special day. May it be the birthday of endless joy and inner fullness to many.
Love eternal, Devi”

BOSNIA

With a lot of joy and gratitude Mohanji’s birthday was celebrated in two cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Bijeljina and Sarajevo.

BJELJINA

Mohanji team in Bijeljina visited an unemployed single mother of three children, brought them some food and supplies and spent some time with them. Food was as well delivered to a dog shelter which meant a lot to the lady who takes care of many dogs living there. After that, everybody gathered for meditation and satsang followed by treating with a yummi vegan cake.

SARAJEVO

In Sarajevo the gathering started with an intro on who Mohanji is and how important it is to have a living Master in our lives because some new souls joined us on that occasion. We read Mohandji’s birthday message out loud which left a deep trace in the hearts of all those who were present. After the cleansing meditation “Power of Purity” we also purified the space through Arati which was something new and unusual but also interesting for the newcomers. The energy transfer has never been so strong and intense. We continued our gathering with conversation, laughter, experience sharing and some great vegan food.

Everyone in the group contributed to the good atmosphere and pleasant socializing, which we are especially grateful for. Photos certainly can not convey the real energy that wore us on the wings of ease, gratitude and peace.

CROATIA

Mohanji’s birthday in Croatia was celebrated in three different cities. In Split we had a three day program. On Saturday we were delivering food to poor families, on Saturday we were feeding birds and fish and donated food for the cats and dogs and on Monday we cooked for the homeless people. On Mohanji’ s birthday our wish came true in a way that two more cities (Rijeka and Pula) started with ACT activities. In Rijeka we visited a family with seven children who lives in poor conditions and in Pula we were feeding birds and fish. The days spent in serving filled our hearts with immense joy and happiness!

UNITED KINGDOM

UK family cherished Mohanji’s birthday event celebration with a powerful, devotion filled and joyful evening. Devotees not only from in and around London but also few from as far as Wales, gathered at the venue and were soaked in this event.

The event started with Mohanji Gayatri chanting then flowing to Paduka puja (offering gratitude at Mohanji’s feet symbolised by the Paduka) and then filling the atmosphere with incomprehensible devotion through Bhajan singing.
Mohanji showed His presence not just with the energy flow amongst the gathering but also through some impromptu additions such as Hanuman Chaalisa chanting and then everyone getting into the joy of dancing while Mohanji’s favourite “Govinda Madhavate” started playing. Everywhere it was only joy, everyone was in bliss.

United Kingdom - Mohanji - birthday celebration

The little children present in this event very excitedly cut the Vegan Cakes made with love by devotees and MYC volunteers.

The vegan Kerala Sadya (Kerala special food) and other items lovingly prepared by devotees, filled everyone’s heart too!

The event made all devotees feel Mohanji’s presence amongst them and all felt the joy exactly how they feel when Mohanji is around.

This event was not just an ordinary birthday celebration, “Presence without presence” was very much the highlight of the event, that even continued for the next day and some devotees who had travelled from far, stayed on and the effect of Mohanji’s presence continued with Mai Tri healing sessions and satsang. This was true Mohanji style with love, compassion and feeling of true family!

We offer our gratitude to Mohanji for filling our lives with so much love and joy.

Although he usually withdraws on some peaceful place away from publicity on this day, this year Mohanji was in Delhi, because he happened to attend Peace Pledge Project there.

Mohanji started his birthday with a visit to the Bangla Sahib, the famous gurudwara (literally Guru’s doors) – the temple for the Sikh faith – in Delhi. He attended a reading of the Guru Granth Sahib (the scripture of the Sikh faith) and then donated dry rations for the langar (consecrated offering) served all day to people of all faith. Love poured in from all corners of the world with wishes, blessings as well as sea activities being conducted around the world.

SHIRDI

Mohanjis Birthday Celebrations, Shirdi – They say, when grace comes a knocking, it pours, it is a flood. Father’s birthday, 23rd Feb 2019 was a spectacular one, celebrated by Ammucare Mumbai Team, at guess, SHIRIDI.
The morning started with a darshan of Baba, after kakda aarati. A Vegan cake was taken into the temple, after taking permission. The priests touched the smadhi with the cake. Ammucare Mumbai Team Mrs. Savitri and Mr. Hanes were there.
As they came to the Gurusthanam, the priest asked them “Are you not going to cut the cake?”. And lo and behold, soon the cake was cut and distributed. The icing being, all the people at Gurustanam started singing “Happy birthday Mohanji”. Father, pardon us for disturbing you. It was Shiridi and a spontaneous outburst of cheer.
In the afternoon Ammucare Mumbai Team Celebrated Father’s birthday at Jilla Parishad School, Sakori the day was celebrated with devotional fervour. As Mohanji’s disciples, the day’s event was distribution of school bags for 150 children of the school. It is to be noted that the children are all from very poor families. Mrs. Savitri from Ammucare Mumbai team with Mr Jnanaeshwar, from Shiridi, who volunteered for seva were there. The birthday cake was eggless and weighed 10 kgs, well, 150 children. The Panchayat President of Sakori took part in the event. Mr. Lokhande, MP of Shiridi was a sudden and surprising visitor. After all Father’s will or sankalpa. The photos attached tell you the story.
It was at the request of the School that Ammucare Mumbai team has taken the onus of supplying Educational tabs. Initially 20 tabs are proposed to be given. This would make the village school at Sakori get into niche rankings. Children would not carry, nay lug bags full of books. Reach home and homework would be in the tab. Father bless us.
A day cherished, with blessings from Baba, the holy land of Shiridi and Sakori.

We would like to thank the ACT UK team for sponsoring the bags to the kids.

Thanks, Father for willing all this. We are but clay and you the Master potter. Jai Mohanji.

PUNE

Mohanji’s birthday celebration, with great fervour and fun, was carried out at Mohanji Ka Aangan in Pune. Kids of both the Aangans were brought together at one place, with 55 eager participants waiting to know what was in store for them. It was indeed an amazing funfilled time for both: the kids and the members of the M family, with cake cutting, mantra recitation and performances by the kids. The icing on the cake was the magic show. Most of the kids had never witnessed a magic show in their lives and neither had their parents. It was so heartwarming watching, not only the kids laughing and clapping, but also the parents of the children thoroughly enjoying themselves. The program culminated with lots of goodies overflowing from their plates: burgers, cakes, wafers, biscuits and of course ice-creams.
The show stopper was their vibrant attire which Father had desired and approved. Each Aangan student had donned his or her new pink coloured t-shirt and all of them looked so adorable. The program was attended by Dr. (Mrs.) Jaswant Minhas, a retired principal from Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, who had worked as Commissioner (Scouting) in Jammu region . A very active and a loving lady who also enthralled the kids with her engaging and endearing personality. Father’s grace and guidance was felt throughout. All gratitude to Him that we can be meaningful in every small way.

She wished Ammucare and the kids the best, and also extended her full support in any which way for the betterment of the kids and their future. She emphasised on overall and holistic development of the kids which she feels will go a long way in making this world a better place to love in. There were various cultural programs by the kids which included singing, dancing, showcasing their yoga skills too.

Finally we cut a cake on Mohanjis Birthday, and distributed cake, icecreams, juice and snacks to the kids and all those who were present on the occasion. The kids were given Aangan Tshirts which they gleefully accepted and would be wearing the same for all future events.

We all left the venue fully satisfied for this beautiful venture taking shape in a most profound manner. We wish success to all the kids of our Aangan and may they grow to be responsible and self sufficient generation to come.

MALAYSIA

KUALA LUMPUR

There was a lot of excitement in the air as we prepared to decorate the altar to celebrate Mohanji’s birthday. This year, some Sathya Sai devotees joined us to celebrate the occasion.

The celebration started off with the chanting of the Sri Rudram and it flowed soon into Bhajans. Not only were these two items a surprise, we realized that the young people in the group are very talented.

As the Sri Rudram was being chanted , there was an energy surge in the atmosphere and presence of masters was felt very much.
This was followed by Paduka Puja and we had sumptuous prasadam which included a birthday cake, all homemade by the ladies of the group.
The first session of the day ended with Shivakavacham and Aarti.

Malaysia - Happy birthday Mohanji 2019

Thereafter, later in the evening we proceeded to Ann’s Care Centre which is a nursing home for food seva. Delicious vegetarian food was catered by Sai Ananda Café, Selayang, Kuala Lumpur.
There are about 50 inmates and 6 caretakers at the centre. We spent time chatting with the inmates and helped to feed them. It was sheer happiness to see the smile on their faces and them enjoying the food. The caretaker also shared with us stories of how the inmates ended up at the centre.
As one of our family members stays very near the centre, we proceeded to his house from the centre and had a little satsang at his house sharing stories of various masters and also how some of them met Mohanji and how Mohanji had made a difference in their lives.
Mohanji’s birthday this year is truly a day to be remembered as it brought so much joy, laughter and sharing and bringing the family closer.

RANDBURG

Our big ACT Birthday charity on 23rd February 2019

We prioritized the hungry street dwellers and car guards in the Mayfair areas of Johannesburg with our Food Seva.
The night before a very severely heavy thunderstorm lashed areas in and around Johannesburg.
The storm affected the power grids which cut off power supply to several areas. Our Mohanji Centre was also affected.
The blackouts continued into Saturday – our big celebration day at the Centre!
There was still the food to prepare for our afternoon Seva.
However Mohanji had it all under control.
By 4 pm Mrs Julie Reddy miraculously produced a huge piping hot pot of rice, lentils, potatoes, and variety of vegetables – all gently cooked together and liberally spiced with Mohanji Love. It was a healthy, aromatic dish and so gratefully accepted by those we served – especially after the thunderstorms.
The Mohanji family that gathered at Randburg helped pack the food into containers for easy distribution on the streets. We also had to ensure our volunteers were safe too as things can get rough in the blink of an eye in our part of the world.
But Mohanji is always with us and has us covered.
Some 115 containers were stacked in crates and loaded on a small truck and off we drove to Mayfair.
Two very dear people with the kindest hearts who attended a Mohanji event for the first time joined us wholeheartedly in the Seva. They unhesitatingly helped load all the packed crates onto the back of the truck and drove with us to the distribution points.
Volunteers followed in convoy in three other vehicles.
We parked our vehicles at the first point and waited just a little … they came, and despite their unimaginable hardships they respectfully lined up in a queue and gratefully accepted the welcomingly hot meal, with ‘Thank you. God Bless you.’
A few came back about three times!
We made two other stops and our volunteers additionally handed out carefully wrapped peanut butter and strawberry jam sandwiches, dozens of rolls… and Easter eggs!
They were so happy.
All thanks and gratitude to You Beloved Mohanji

MAURITIUS

Mohanji Centre of Silence Mauritius started the day’s celebration with mantra chanting, Power of Purity meditation with energy transfer, gurupadh mantra and aarati.  Everyone felt a wave of energy while offering flowers at Mohanji’s feet. Emotions through tears and dancing were released. One of the participants could see a glimpse of the shadow of Shiva and one of his Ganas. We are so blessed to have a guide and guru. The children have been joyfully participating in the entertainment.

AMERICAS

USA

MohanjiUSA Family members located in different parts of the country celebrated their love and gratitude for Father by offering seva in a variety of ways on His Birthday!

Here are the highlights from M family in USA celebrating Mohanji’s birthday.

VIRGINIA

The cold and frigid temperatures in Eastern USA did not dampen the excitement of Mohanji’s birthday!

Virginia, USA started the day with HSTY yoga session and then came out to the nearby park for Conscious Walk despite the frigid temperatures.

USA - Happy birthday Mohanji - Yoga, Conscious Walking

Along with Yoga, CW, volunteers cooked hot vegetarian meals and brought a cake in honor of Mohanji to a local shelter where it was distributed during afternoon meal.  Most people who come there are homeless, disabled, hungry, or unable to cook for themselves.  They thoroughly enjoyed the delicious home cooked meal along with cake! They thanked us profusely and wished Mohanji for his birthday.

USA - Happy birthday Mohanji - cake 1

Evening started with heavy rains and despite that the planned event at a local retreat center turned out to be special.  Mohanji’s loving presence was felt throughout the program.  POP Meditation was done along with some new comers.  During the POP, MET was offered by Mohanji Acharya (Lata Ganesh), and one of the recipient said as follow: “I felt Mohanji all the time during the evening and especially during MET, hands over my head were warm and when it touched my crown chakra I felt like the sky was in my head – as if all the electrons were buzzing with energy like network and in the end it felt like our beloved Father Mohanji was patting me like we do to a child.  That night I slept straight for 10 hours, but normally I only sleep for 5-6 hours.”  She also said that she could sense the tension in the air with other people prior to the meditation; however, after the POP the room transformed and the positive energy of Mohanji was felt deeply throughout the night.

Special songs including Bhajan by Anu and Lata, a Native American Prayer by Laurie, English song composed and rendered  by Andra and a Sanskrit Bhajan composed and sung by Jyotsna.

Lastly, to conclude the beautiful evening, a vegan cake was cut by two lovely children and everyone joined in to sing a birthday song and expressed their heartiest wishes to Mohanji. It was a lovely evening filled with joy, laughter, love and peace in everyone’s heart.  All the gratitude surrendered at the lotus feet of Mohanji for making this day special.

USA - Happy birthday Mohanji - cake 2

SEDONA

Sedona is a high energy center with powerful vortexes.  Thea Ivie’s home which she fondly calls an Ashram is dedicated to Mohanji and Nath gurus where meditations, healing, and charity is an everyday thing.  On February 23rd, Mohanji gayatri was chanted all day by two devotees.  Food was donated, rent was paid for people who had difficulty in paying, and group healing was also done on behalf of Mohanji.  All this was surrendered at the lotus feet of Mohanji.

TEXAS

Mohanji’s Birthday was celebrated for the first time in Texas.

The idea came to one of the volunteers to have a vegan cake as an offering after the meditation as a prasad.  Upon searching, one store carried the last one in stock. It was held for the team for a later pickup.  Later, an idea also came to feed the birds.  Since the store to pick up the cake was near a lake, it would be a great place to feed the birds as well.  With this intention, the two volunteers drove to the venue and were met by the ducks who flocked to get food from their hands.  This was something special because animals don’t generally take food from strangers like that, so this indeed was grace making it all happen.

USA - Happy birthday Mohanji - feeding birds in Texas

After satisfying the hungry birds, the cake was picked up and one of the volunteers (Padmaja) who is also a Mohanji acharya drove to the mediation hall.  She was very tired and had difficulty driving but kept on going because she needed to be at the venue at the scheduled time.  The cake was cut followed and Bliss of Silence meditation was conducted.

During the meditation, MET was offered, and amazing experiences were felt by all.  One of the attendees Anu writes: “”Attended Bliss of Silence meditation and it was one of a kind of experience.  I felt very refreshed and positive vibes were felt all through my body by energy transfer. Looking forward for more such lessons. Thank you Padmaja and Lakshmi for the initiative.”

USA - Happy birthday Mohanji - cake 3

Not only the attendees, even Padmaja was refreshed and felt full of energy and was able to drive home safely.

Its indeed true that when we have a strong desire to serve, Mohanji always makes a way for us. Thankyou Mohanji for giving us opportunities to serve at your Lotus Feet.

Feb 24, Conscious Walk and Mai tri healing was done.

CALIFORNIA

In the sunshine state of California, there was a wild bird party on the feeder at home.  Every being experience hunger the same, as Mohanji teaches us. And what wonderful way of celebrating that by serving the tiny birds around the neighborhood.

Food (pasta) was cooked at home by the devotees for the seva at the women’s shelter close by since there is no kitchen on premises.  Pizza, garlic bread, vegetables and cake were also picked up to serve up to 60 people.  Serving at this shelter was not a coincidence but a blessing by our dear Mohanji.  Normally the volunteers drive an hour to a different shelter where they cook food themselves.  However, on Mohanji’s birthday, serving at this shelter nearby made things easier and more memorable. Later, the day POP along with MET was held at local Sai temple.

On Sunday the 24th, extra 30 sandwiches were offered at a shelter by a devotee.

Along with with extra 108 food packets were prepared and distributed in California.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Mohanji for forever fulfilling our wishes even on his special day 😊

FLORIDA

In Florida, it was like a big wedding party where kids and moms got together and prepped up food bags consisting of granola bars, oranges, apples, peanut butter sandwiches, and chips.

CONNECTICUT

304 sandwiches, fruits, bananas, apples, clementine, water crates, cookies/biscuits were delivered to a local soup kitchen.  This state doesn’t allow cooked food to be served, so the volunteers did the best in this option is to donate healthy food in remembrance of Mohanji.

NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY and LOS ANGELES

In New York, New Jersey and LA, birds were given food, pantry supplies were delivered to a local soup kitchen, and Power of Purity meditation was done.

Along with the seva in the United States, Mohanji family took the seva to INDIA as well.

150 food packets were distributed to the kids of Mohanji ka aangan in Bangalore.  200 meals in Shirdi and 200 meals in Katra (Jammu), and mass food seva at Sanjay Gandhi animal shelter (included cattle, horses, geese, monkeys and birds) were also conducted by the USA Mohanji family.

Mohanji’s grace poured in for his 54th birthday celebration. It seemed like grace poured in from every angle.  New venues, new experiences, new ideas, blogs, inspirations took off.  Few of the members were also able to attend and be in his presence for New Delhi satsang.  Along with all this, one blog and a bhajan was also submitted at the lotus feet of dear Mohanji by Lata Ganesh which you can listen here.

CANADA

Heartiest and warmest birthday greetings to our blessing in the form of Mohanji!
The Canada family celebrated Mohanji’s birthday with four events. It started with a blood donation drive on 21st February where the devotees donated blood to the nearby Canada blood donation centers and expressed their gratitude by helping others.
This day was also marked through inauguration of our Shri Sai Baba’s visit to devotees home to bless them, spread HIS teachings and awareness about our Ashram . On 23rd February morning, after having the Abhishek (bathing) Baba started HIS beautiful and divine journey of Sai Palki to his ardent devotees Gaurav & Seema Kaushal’s house ( ‘Sai Dham’). This house is graced with Sai’s divine energy, it also has a replica of the Shirdi Dwarkamai in its basement. Shri Sai Baba was welcomed with love and devotion. In order to spread Shri Sai’s teachings the devotee was encouraged to read a chapter from Shri Sai Sat Charita book. After reading, Shri Sai was worshiped by chanting HIS 108 names under supervision of our Ashram priest, followed by food offering and Aarti. This was followed by gifting a Sai Sat Charita book to the host with a bhav (feeling) that they will inculcate a habit of reading on daily basis. Our Datta Tapovan Ashram pamphlets containing activities and other details were distributed to all the people present in there.

After bidding farewell, Shri Sai Baba visited second home of Neeti and Ranjan Rhode. The house was beautifully decorated and the entire path and staircase was ushered with Rose petals. After completion of Sai Satcharitra reading, Puja (worship) and bhog (food offering), the host surprise everybody by expressing their desire for celebrating  Mohanji’s birthday by cutting a cake. Baba, then set out for his last visit to Bhupinder & Nina Garg’s home. After  completion of all 3 rituals, a very lavish lunch was prepared for all the devotees present in large numbers.

Baba finally headed back to ashram. At ashram, all devotees offered Paad  Puja (worshipping Mohanji’s Lotus fees) by chanting 108 Mohanji’s name followed by meditation. A birthday cake was cut followed by kirtan and dance singing glory of our Mohanji.
Since food offering to the hungry is very dear to Mohanji, a food drive to the homeless and needy was offered on 24th February morning by the Mohanji Canada team.

Subramaniam with Mohanji

All mountains soar but one soars above the rest. So too are my experiences with Mohanji. Let me record the most cherished one. “More than 40 years back, I had the unique privilege of being initiated into japa yoga by my Guru who was an exalted master. He told me very clearly, “if you stay loyal to this path and tread steadfastly, your Parama Guru will come in search of you.” Little did I realise then, the significance of this powerful message. But in the course of my journey, I used to reflect on His words often, praying and hoping that the Parama  Guru that He talked about may come in sukshma  (subtle) and not sthula (physical) form. Even after coming into contact with Mohanji, I didn’t realise this until recently that my eternal Parama Guru has indeed arrived! True masters’ words never fail.

Dear Mohanji,

My sincere Pranams. With deep reverence and love I wish you a very “Happy Birthday”  and a big “THANK YOU.” Please keep your grace on us always and let us rest at your lotus feet eternally. Every single day is an experience for me with you and I know you are watching us and I have no words to describe my gratitude for all that you have given us. There are times when I fall back and I don’t do things as you have said, but I have always felt you pull me back and put me on track .

I have composed a small poem in your memory dear Mohanji. Please allow me to give it to you on this happy occasion .

Journey in time

I was a wandering soul until we met

The time stood still as our eyes met

I felt the divine in you as I wept

Day and night as I slept

I couldn’t describe love before

But you showed me  love and more

I didn’t know what I was meant to be

But you sent people to help me

I went up and down as days passed by

You gave me strength and asked me to fly

I was lost in thoughts most of the time

You showed me how my doubts were as bitter as lime

Then, I realized we are one

Until then this “I” was just on the run .

Sudeshna Saha, Chennai, India

I cherish his friendship the most. I have never called him “Father,” nor will I ever be able to, like most people do.

I cherish the way he explains the most complicated things in a simplistic, hilarious, story telling method. Being in his presence, we learn to shed our ego and open our hearts in acceptance.

He is probably the most ‘peoples’ person’ in the Spiritual Genre, with no frills and tantrums. His “Down to Earth” persona, breaks the common perception of a modern-day Guru, who people identify with a particular dress code or a particular mannerism. As he always says, “I am You,” and one can perceive the depth of these three words, when one surrenders with absolute faith.

Mohanji,

I see You as the Superstar of the spiritual world. Just as the stars are self illuminating and can light up the sky even in the darkest of nights, You dispel the darkness in our lives by leading us in the path of light and love.

On this auspicious day Mohanji, I would like to offer You my deepest gratitude in few forms:

  • A blog of my experience sharing
  • A devotional song (written by Devadas) “Guru Mohana”. (The link is at the end of this blog)
  • A poem inspired by You. (as below)

Thank You for all Your grace and blessings.

Lots of Love,

Sathya.

A poem inspired by Mohanji

Shine! Shine! Oh bright star!

It is your own light after all!

You shine beyond barriers, beyond boundaries in the vast night sky

when one can see your true glory.

You came to declare, “Fear not the darkest of the nights, My light shall dispel it!”

Shine shine, Oh bright star!

How magical are thou!

You reveal what you are when the world is in slumber,

but there are a few in number who find you for they cannot sleep until they see you.

From you Oh star, the universe has emerged.

Into you it shall  dissolve and your divine command is

“Shine like me in pure light and love until you merge in me”

Dear Mohanji,

I cherish Your presence in my life because I am a completely different person after meeting You! I have never had more understanding, more peace, love, patience, compassion, happiness, a mind clear of heaviness. I have never had more knowledge on what I can do, understanding of my natural self before meeting You. I have never had such STABILITY in my life than after meeting You. I am not swayed away with every wave of life that keeps changing from bitter to sweet and from sweet to bitter. Waves of life are the same, but my inner self is not. I care lesser and lesser about bitter & sweet, and I care more and more for the happiness and stability of all beings of this world.

Thank You Mohanji for keeping me with You every moment.

Wish You a very happy Birthday!

Love,

Mina

Mohanji,

I cherish being with You as Your teachings expand my awareness, warming my heart. You are ever-present even when doubts cloud me. Sitting outside the Ramana Maharishi Ashram in front of Arunachal, my monkey mind questioned if You are with me and lo and behold there was a clear sign. Mohanji’s eyes, nose and beard appeared as clear as day light to say “I am with you always.” This picture says it all!

Thank You for being me all the time, every time, Mohanji.

Mohanji for me is an unknowable vast consciousness yet an incarnation of a tangible force of compassion and a determined compass for liberation.

We are deeply grateful that Existence has sent Him to us, like a lighthouse, a family and a friend – never a stranger. We pray that Mohanji be continued to be blessed with excellent health and boundless energy to fulfill what He has come to do. Though the consciousness is the alpha and omega, we deeply celebrate His divinely blessed coming in body to walk amongst us all. We are grateful. We are blessed to have His presence so palpable in our lives.

Happy Birthday Mohanji!

The Master who brought divine light in our lives.

We met Mohanji when he came to the UK I think 2012. Since then we have an affinity and Love for His teachings and Q&A answers- articulated so simply and to the point. Then with His subsequent visits to the UK, we grew fonder of Mohanji, who gave us incredible confidence and unconditional LOVE.

Vince_annabelle with Mohanji

Mohanji has certainly shown His true self and His power. I felt that His energy has expanded to show people how to Love and serve the needy, including the animals and divine souls who have taken birth for whatever reasons.

Mohanji has given us a great blessing by initiating us to Consciouness Kriya.  Back in year 2000, the Naadi predicted that would happen to us as per previous life.

We have been to Master’s retreat twice and what I have witnessed and seen I cannot write, but Master had confirmed this.

His Birthday is on the 23rd of February and we will celebrate it in awe and Love, and trust there will be many more where we could be in His physical presence. We are sure He will be with us.

We both wish Mohanji a very happy Birthday.

With Love

Being with Mohanji I feel love for myself and others, something I never dreamed to happen in this lifetime.

How can I begin to express my gratitude for finding me and showing me myself.

And Finally…from the Testimonials team

February 2018 is when a new testimonials team commenced their seva with Mohanji’s blessings. Since then there is a growing awareness of the true value of sharing experiences and that has certainly kept the team busy.

Adding value to society in any form or shape is our biggest dharma and what better way than to be able to spread the divine leelas  of Mohanji. Through this process we are slowly realising that each experience is not a mere coincidence but a piece that fits into the larger canvas of our individual paths. “Guru Leela” the book of testimonials shared by devotees is one of our offerings at the lotus feet of Mohanji. This was only possible with Mohanji’s grace and it is continuing to spread the vibrations and energy of Mohanji.

Dear Mohanji,

We are eternally grateful to You for being with us every moment initiating every thought, flowing through every word and implementing every action.  You play with us with amusement and love but you are ever watchful and protective.

With Your grace, we place our intention to carry on with spreading Your divine leela being Your instruments for ever till every soul in this world is able to see, feel and breathe your divinity.

Wish you a very Happy Birthday and many more to come!

And last but not the least, here is the devotional song “Guru Mohana”, the cherry on top of the Birthday cake (Vegan and sugar free!).

Jai Mohanji!

See the birthday celebrations the previous year.

Kumbh Mela 2019!!

Little did I know about this auspicious event earlier! Heard its reference, when I had a chance to visit Badrinath in 2018, one of the most special pilgrimages I have ever done so far. The year 2018 had been the toughest phase of my life physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually too. I went through multiple health issues with extreme pain all over my body, no energy and no strength, along with deep depression. All this went on for many, many months. With so many health issues, I didn’t want to spoil the pilgrimage for others. So I was doubtful about making the trip to Badrinath. Hence I asked my sister to check if it was advisable to travel with this health condition up the hills and back last year. Mohanji answered to the call – “Let her come.” I just surrendered to the command completely and left for the pilgrimage. I felt that He knows what is best for me. That trip had been just overwhelming for me at all levels. No words can describe what it means to me and how it has changed me. I have got a new lease of life. It’s the same body but with new life. Master’s grace flows unconditionally, and this life is now for a higher purpose – to serve my beloved Master and His creation selflessly.

Visiting Kumbh had been a wish sitting inside me somewhere. Although I was not aware of its significance, I only knew that this was something big and special. My family left for Benaras (a divine abode) on Jan 11th 2019. My family had been to this holy city earlier but I missed the chance then. I heard about the city’s tales and impressions from my sister and mother and realised that I had missed something great owing to my health conditions. I never thought that Kumbh would happen so soon, that too in this lifetime itself. It was made possible only through Mohanji’s grace. Bags were packed and we were ready to board the flight at 8:00am. As soon as we landed and packed ourselves into a private taxi, we got to meet an amazing driver who narrated the significance of Kashi, Sarnath, Bhairav and Sankat Mochan (Hindu temples). While driving, he started to chant some mantras and I could resonate with those chants, although I did not know the literal meaning. I felt some connection with those strange mantras. The kind driver offered to take us to all the temples and try to cover as much as possible in one day. He didn’t care for anything, either food or his old age, but was totally committed. The first spot we visited was the Statue of the Standing Buddha in Sarnath in a beautiful garden.

Soon, we moved out of the garden and stood near a nariyal paani (coconut water) cart. I was busy looking at the small stalls all around while everyone else had their nariyal pani. Once they were done, I was offered one. While I was drinking, I noticed an old lady in tattered clothes along with her potli (a small pouch) near us. When I offered a tender coconut to her, I was told that she had been offered it already. When I asked the old woman if she would like to have some sugarcane juice, she spontaneously agreed with a smile. She took out the glass from her potli, filled it with what the vendor gave her and drank it gradually. We moved ahead and started walking. But I felt something inside and I turned to offer my pranaams to her. From a distance, she smiled and did pranaams too. In my heart I felt she was Mother Divine (Tara Maa) who had come in this form to bless us. It was a touching moment for me!

From there, we moved on to Sarnath temple, known as Lord Buddha’s abode (Vishnu Avatar), a sacred place where Lord Buddha’s ashes are kept. My sister Pooja asked the priest to bless the entire Gandhi family & Keta Shah family with those ashes. The priest humbly agreed and ashes were touched on our heads with some mantras. What a blessing it was! It was not part of our itinerary at all.

After a little break at the hotel, and lunch at 5:00pm, we moved on to have darshan of Lord Shiva at Kashi Vishwanath temple. The city was bustling with people everywhere as millions were visiting the place for the Kumbh. There were long queues to the main temple, but our driver made us stop in between, at a shop where we left our shoes and bags and we were advised to take care of our purses etc. Two people escorted us to the inside of the temple and we had a quick darshan amidst the crowd. In a split second, we were in and out of the temple. I felt I didn’t have proper darshan although I poured jal (water) on the Shivalinga. As we were moving out, we got to bow down peacefully at other deities of Ma Annapurna and Lord Hanuman. By the end of it, we were all tired physically as it was a long day. We had left Delhi at 6:30am and finally reached the hotel by 11:00pm. The driver was kind enough to take us to a place for a simple meal.

We decided to leave early the next day to avoid the crowd and long queues. Feeding animals, such as dogs, cows and birds is something that I love to do. At the back of my mind, this thought always lingers and I keep looking for an opportunity to feed them. I was thinking whether this would be possible during this trip.

The hotel arranged for two autos for Bhairav Nath temple the next morning (Jan 12th) and in 15 minutes we reached the temple. As we moved closer to the temple to buy a basket of flowers and oil, deep peace and calmness dawned on me. The Mohanji Gayatri and Om Sairam were playing continuously in my mind. I stepped into the temple and had a beautiful darshan. I felt something familiar stirring within, looking at the big eyes of Lord Bhairav Nath and other deities inside the temple. As we came out to return the empty basket, I noticed 3-4 dogs were wandering near the sweet shop. I think my Master heard my inner voice. But this time, it was unique as not only I but my sisters (including Keta Shah) also joined me in feeding the dogs. I felt so happy. I know it is all His doing; we are just mere instruments through whom the seva happens. This journey had one thing common from beginning to end – feeding dogs. It was a delight to find them and serve them with milk.

The next stop was at the Sankat Mochan (Hanumanji) temple. It is said that Hanumanji was seen on a tree here by a gardener. The beautiful idol inside the temple emerged on its own, not created by human beings. While we were in an auto rickshaw, my sister mentioned that Lahiri Mahasaya had lived in Benaras and we were hoping for a chance to visit the Master’s holy place that day. Miracle! Suddenly on the way, we found a big sign board with the name Lahiri Mahasaya Lane. It was a narrow lane; we were not sure how to locate the house. We just kept walking down the narrow lane. A Hanumanji temple was seen while we were searching for the house. I prayed deeply within for a clue to guide us to our beloved Master’s home when we came upon a man cleaning the surroundings. When we asked him about Lahiri Mahasaya’s home, he promptly replied that it was close by and offered to take us. God had sent us a guide! The great Master’s house remains locked throughout the year and it’s only opened on the auspicious Guru Purnima day. We bowed down in front of the door in deep reverence and gratefulness. We meditated there for a while and chanted. Our hearts were filled with utter joy and bliss.

Then our autos moved towards Sankat Mochan temple. We had a beautiful darshan of Hanumanji there. I prostrated on behalf of our beloved Deva Mohanji first and thanked Hanumanji for making us visit the temple. I prayed silently from within. A silent monkey was seen on top of the roof all alone, I went closer and offered a banana. He happily came down to take it. After the darshan, we fed more monkeys there in the temple premises. The whole environment was serene and blissful. Right opposite the Sankat Mochan temple, there was a Ram, Sita & Laxman temple where devotees were chanting. We joined in too.

Finally our drive to Allahabad began the next day (Jan 13th). Priti Rupee joined us at the hotel and we had to pick up Madhusudan from the airport. We all moved together in two different cars. The journey was tedious as it took us 5-6 hours to reach the city. The whole road was choked to the brim and the driver smartly drove through narrow lanes and inside the villages to reach the main road. The main road was jam packed too with big trucks, with no breathing space. The driver continued on and after few hours we reached a clear road with no congestion.

We finally arrived at the Kumbh! We were dropped off at the site where the structure was set up. It was so huge. Sitting inside the car, moving my head from left to right, I could feel the vastness of the set up and had a panaromic view of the whole architecture around it. My sister and mother mentioned that it was a barren land earlier and now it was a whole bustling city. Private vehicles were not allowed to go inside the Kumbh area, so we were dropped off at a point with our bags. I took my mom and aunty (Keta Shah’s mother) in a battery rickshaw, while all other members walked. Finally on locating the right spot, I got down and walked ahead to find Parmarth Niketan camp.

We had imagined a temporary set up with basic tents and amenities. But when we arrived, we were surprised to see the separate temporary quarters set up with all the basic facilities in place. Everyone settled in gradually into their rooms. Winter was at its peak there. I was eagerly looking forward to meeting our beloved Father Mohanji the next day. I woke up early (4:30am), completed Mai- Tri Healing chanting and meditated. I had a bath and breakfast and waited for instructions.

Finally we got to meet Mohanji! To be in the physical presence of a Master of His stature is a big blessing. He shared the holiness and significance of the Kumbh and said that without the blessings of our ancestors and Gods, and Guru’s grace, it won’t be possible for us to be there. He stressed a lot on ancestors’ blessings and their role. As Mohanji spoke to us, I felt each word entering into my being one by one, as if my soul had received something it had desired for many lifetimes.

I felt a deep peace and calmness all over again. Next morning (Jan 14th), we all got ready to visit the Hanumanji temple. The boat ride to the other side of the shore was amazing and soothing. I enjoyed feeding the birds on the way. The temple was crowded, but we still managed to have a beautiful darshan (here Hanumanji can be seen lying down in a resting position).

I got a chance to spend some moments with Dr. Wasir and got to hear about his Kailash pilgrimage experience. “Have no expectations while going there and no expectations after coming back” were his words. “You will experience a state of inner silence, no thoughts.” These words were powerful enough for anyone to realise the importance of this pilgrimage. Be in a state of total surrender and let the Master take charge of you.

I knew that my menses would start any time soon, which meant no dip in the holy sangam of the three rivers – Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati. I surrendered completely at Mohanji’s lotus feet. The day for the dip arrived and I was down with my periods. Due to the extreme cold, I would wake up early and before sleeping I used to pray to enable me to wake up during the Brahma Muhurat (3-6am). I didn’t want to lose this precious time and space for chanting and meditation. Early hours were peaceful for both these things and I enjoyed doing it.

We all followed Mohanji for Shahi Snan day, attended the homa before the snan (dip) wherein Swami Chidanandji also joined us. The group chanting of Maha Mrityunja Mantra at the holy homa was sacred and divine. We took the blessings of the Lords and moved ahead for the holy snan in the boats.

Pilgrims participated in river cleaning before boarding the boats, a beautiful way to thank our beloved rivers for flowing seamlessly. The beauty of the scared rivers was felt strongly as millions took dips on the first day itself. From a distance, Keta Shah and I were watching Mohanji entering the sangam (where the 3 sacred rivers meet), bowing to them, to the sun and finally dipping into the rivers with a big smile. Wow! What a blessing to be a part of this divine sight. One by one, the other pilgrims also took dips.

Beautiful Abhishekam was done by all, by pouring the sacred river water on Mohanji and Mohanji did the same for each pilgrim. A sight to behold!! While all this was happening, I could feel the presence of a beautiful energy and of divine beings and ancestors, as if blessings were being showered upon all of us. Tears flowed and I wanted to just sink into this moment forever. As I closed my eyes, I felt as if it was Lord Shiva’s Abhishekam taking place.

It was touching to take a special dip in the boat itself (Mohanji’s drenched dhoti was rinsed on me and Keta Shah). It was a magical moment, totally out of the blue! A special blessing on us! I poured a little water on myself – in my name, that of my ancestors, Masters & Sai Deva. Words fall short to express the gratitude for such a blissful moment.

With cold waves and very little sun, it was a sight to see everyone drenched in their wet clothes, shivering but happy and filled with gratitude, peace and bliss. We all headed back to the ashram immediately after the snan.

Afternoon was well spent under the sun, remembering those moments and waiting for the next meeting with Mohanji. I was joined by Reena Di in the afternoon and we decided to do food seva. Without any hassles, food was arranged from outside the camp, through local vendors. We fed a cow and a few people with bread, pakoras and poori, choley. Tranquility and deep joy was felt, as the seva was happening through us. No wish was left unfulfilled on this holy land. All thoughts were heard and our Master was taking care of everything.

On Shahi Snan day, Mohanji had sprained His back. So we were asked to attend the Ganga aarati and satsang. After a satvic dinner, I was still hopeful of some news about Mohanji and for His darshan. Opportunity opened again and Mohanji gave us darshan despite being in deep pain (Mohanji explained that He took over the karma of someone who met with a severe car accident, and had responded to a child’s prayer). Mohanji is omnipresent, working for many in different dimensions. This is our beloved Master, filled with unconditional grace, love, peace and humility. Physical pain will not deter Him from answering any seeker’s prayers, meetings or spending time with true seekers. Mohanji operates from higher energy levels; He doesn’t need a physical body to talk to us. Connecting to His consciousness will open the gates to higher realms and eventual dissolution.

We could spend hours with Mohanji, but He was in deep pain. At the back of my mind, I had a wish somewhere to be able to serve my Master by pressing His feet. I had a chance to do this earlier in Badrinath. As the group settled into Mohanji‘s room and I got to sit next to His feet, I started massaging Mohanji’s feet and legs. I felt as if I was melting in His unconditional love, purity and vastness. It was another wish heard and fulfilled J. Out of pure love and purity in my heart, this was a little wish I had, for which my Master blessed me unconditionally and allowed it to happen during the satsang.

In my heart I know, to serve the Master is to serve creation in any form, in any capacity. Surrender fully at the Master’s lotus feet. He will take care of everything. You just keep walking, and leave the rest in the Master’s hand. It feels like I am truly living now and having a meaningful existence with complete acceptance and reverence! Gratitude at your lotus feet Mohanji…. Lots of love and only love.

It is not just about meditations…. It is not just about satsangs…. It is just about being in the moment and accepting and experiencing the way life happens. Thinking of the Master night and day and surrendering with utter devotion, love, faith and patience has become a way of life now.

Deep Love & Gratitude to Mohanji!

Thank you Madhu, Preeti Di & Rajesh for being around and taking care of everyone…

Mohanji on the Ride

Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday To You,

Happy Birthday Dear MOHANJI,

Mohanji, The Avadhoota in Jeans, is all forms in one form, All  masters in one form, All divinity in one form. Para Brahma ! He is our Adi Guru, the ultimate destination.

Our Deepest and heartfelt gratitude to Mohanji for being in our lives as the biggest blessing!

We also express our gratitude to Acchan, Shri Kesavan Namboodiri and Amma, Shrimati Sridevi Kesavan, the divine parents, who brought Mohanji to the earth in this life.

How can we ever fully comprehend the infinite blessings of being connected to a Sat Guru of your stature? How can we ever feel enough gratitude? How can we ever qualify ourselves to assist in your mission? It is only with your grace that we can even make an attempt. It is a great blessing and  privilege to be connected with you and I wish that your birthday, which we cherish and celebrate, is just one pearl in a long string we are allowed to witness.

Vince & Annabelle, UK

Madhu & Preethi with Mohanji

Mohanji’s presence in our lives is the biggest blessing we could have ever asked for. Awareness, purpose, gratitude, kinship, compassion, fearlessness – words cannot do justice to describe the lessons we learn from him every day and every moment. He is a constant reminder of what we can truly be, if we get away from the mundane thought processes. Our whole family is grateful that we are able to connect with him and revel in the security of grace that encircles us at all times.

We wish You a very happy birthday, dear Mohanji!

Mohanji Satcharita – Chapter 5, February 2019

Higher than the highest. Larger than the largest. Bigger than the biggest. Harder than the hardest. Deeper than the deepest. Smoother than the smoothest. Heavier than the heaviest. Lighter than the lightest. Still beyond stillness. Bliss beyond happiness. Detached beyond perfection. Unknown and unknowable to human mind-matter (mind, ego, intellect), eternally liberated exists the REAL one, the unfathomable SHIVA. — Mohanji

Every disciple’s end goal is absolute dissolution, merging completely with Shiva. One of the most purest path to achieve this is through bhakti yoga and absolute surrender to Guru. In absolute surrender, there is no existence except that of the Guru. However, it is not easy being with a Guru, a living master. Being with the Guru, the disciple burns a lot of samskaras every moment, along with burning the ego, burning the intellect, burning the entire mind matter. When the existence of the disciple is completely burnt, he turns into pure ash. That’s when Shiva wears the ash and thus the disciple merges completely with the Guru, the Adi Guru – Shiva!

While being on this path of complete mergence with Shiva, through the pure connection with Mohanji’s consciousness, devotees feel the sanctity and purity of Shiva. Their awareness of Mohanji’s immense grace makes them realise the divine truth behind each experience taking them a step forward on the path of complete annihilation – mergence with Shiva!

For this month’s Mohanji Satcharita we are bringing out 9 stories that highlights Mohanji’s divine grace. We are grouping these 9 stories into two categories:

  • Divine Healing & Protection

  • Divine Leela (play)

Hope you enjoy reading these 9 stories which are shared with utmost sincerity and honesty by devotees across the globe. We believe that while reading these stories, every reader will also feel the vibrations that will allow them to relive the same experiences too.

So here are the stories of Mohanji’s grace.

Divine Healing & Protection

Mohanji says, “Surrender your thoughts, words and actions at the feet of your Sathguru, whoever it is, with deep faith and belief that he represents the Supreme Father, Parabrahma. Do good to the world and your fellow beings, so that you live the teachings of your Guru. Express your Guru in your daily life. Be one with your Guru. Be one with His consciousness.”

Below are three sincere testimonials from devotees who have experienced that with faith and love in their Guru or God, amazing grace and protection is received.

1. Inner Cleanse Through Mai Tri – Ami, South Africa

I was at Dubai International Airport. It was a long wait for my connection to Bengaluru. I was on my way to the Acharya Training Programme – Level 1. I said to myself, “Great! Wi-Fi is available. Finally a quiet moment to write down and widely share my awesome experience with Mai-Tri healing!”

Mai tri healing.png
Divine Healing through Mohanji’s grace

I’ve already shared my experience verbally with many around me, but it’s important to write it down too, as memory has its peculiar drawbacks.

I had enlisted for the Acharya Training and had a bee in my bonnet about intensely cleansing and purifying myself on gross and subtle levels, in preparation for the training. Heavy energies had made themselves very comfortable within my body for a very long time. I decided that I had carried them long enough. They had to go, now! I was really fired up about cleaning up and clearing out – all of it! With these thoughts in my mind, I set up a series of Mai-Tri sessions with Sjarn Day Mansoor.

Mai Tri Healing : “Removal of the blockages is only meant to facilitate the actual primary purpose of receiving healing, which is to grow spiritually and eventually merge with the Divine. The main reason for healing is to recognize who you truly are and to identify yourself with the Divinity that you intrinsically and truly are.”

My first healing session was a brief one and was during our South Africa Midlands Retreat in November 2018 with Mohanji. On a physical level, I did not see much change. I had to wait for one long month for the next session. Sjarn had relocated to Durban from Johannesburg. Since I wanted continuity with one Mai Tri Healer, I made the trip to Durban. The second session too did not yield any obvious results. We planned the third and fourth sessions to be held during the summer, when she would come to Johannesburg for the summer holidays. It was during these sessions that I felt a significant transformation taking place. These were at the Mohanji Centre, Randburg.

Mohanji – When you have deep faith it can cut across karma and heal you

During the third session, I was literally out of my body for most of the healing. At the end of it, I asked Sjarn what had happened. She replied that it was very difficult for her to explain, because Mohanji had quantumly lifted away layers upon layers of stored karmic densities at once!!! She added that Mohanji worked with focussed laser intensity and had removed age-old layers of baggage and heaviness from the deepest levels, both gross and subtle.
When it came to my base chakra, I wonder how to express it; my Beloved Master swept out a heavily built, muscular male energy figure! Sjarn described him as having thick and bushy eyebrows. She said he gave her a funny look and also stared at Mohanji. Then he was whooshed up in a powerful column of White Light. Apparently my maternal grandmother had also dropped by and she seemed rather anxious. That concluded session three.

The best was yet to come. After session three, a thought came up about my right knee. I had a strong feeling that my knee was energetically bound. When I walked, my right leg was always almost half a step shorter than my left, as though it could not move forward.
So in session four, I made a request to Mohanji via Sjarn to break the lock on my right knee.
Mohanji did that. The effect was quick and also tangible, especially when I did kriya after that Mai-Tri healing session. Since my initial initiation into Kriya, I could not use my right heel for a specific Kriya posture. Kriya is secret and sacred, so I cannot describe the process in detail. However, I do wish to say that when I practised Kriya, a day after healing session four, I was overjoyed to find that my right knee was quite flexible. The most beautiful part, in my viewpoint was that for the very first time since my Kriya initiation, I was able to use, quite easily, my right heel as required for that specific posture in the Kriya process.

I’m deeply humbled and utterly grateful to Mohanji for the momentous healing taking place within my bodies through Mai-Tri; my deepest gratitude to Sjarn too for facilitating the healing sessions. I also find that the Kriya posture is getting easier to do with each session. Words fail to describe how monumental this change is for me. It’s my Mai-tri miracle.

I am thrilled to share my incredible experience on the Power of Mai-Tri Healing. All I can say is, “Thank You again my beloved Master Mohanji for the mighty power and blessings of the physically measurable Mai-Tri Healing I’ve experienced.”
Also of significance is the fact that I conclude writing my testimony in the flight, on my way to Bengaluru for the Acharya Training and during the powerful eclipse of January 21, 2019.

2. Healing Through Meditation : Rekha & Kishore from India

This is a testimonial from a couple of devotees who facilitated the POP meditation at the Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai on 13th January, 2019.

What appeared to be our regular POP meditation session was met with surprises as usual. The experiences that we have at this place always teach us not to take anything for granted. Just 8 people attended today’s session at the Cancer Institute. Two women (a mother and daughter) walked in early. As we spoke to them, they shared their experience of having attended a POP meditation 6 months back with us.  The young girl had been diagnosed then with 4th stage cancer and the doctors had given up hope. The tumour had spread from the intestines to her throat and she was administered chemo just to help her bear the pain and ease her difficulty in breathing. The mother and the daughter attended the POP meditation with immense faith and continued the meditation on returning home. They did it as a meditation focussing on their breathing. After 6 months, they were back for a check-up as she had a small tumour near her stomach.

The diagnosis has been that the lungs and throat are completely clear now to the surprise of the doctors.

They also felt cleansing was happening at a deep level and wanted to continue it as long as possible. The mother who once thought she would lose her daughter is so happy at the turn of events and has immense faith in her God. The daughter connects with Jesus and is at peace. She feels her breathing has improved and although she finds it difficult to breathe deeply, she is consistent in her practice and is positive that she will come out of this ordeal. They expressed their sincere gratitude for Mohanji.

We feel so blessed to be instruments in conducting this POP meditation and our hearts overflow with gratitude at our Guru’s leela.

Jai Mohanji!

3. Mohanji, The Compassion Incarnate! : Neelu, India

With utmost gratitude at my Master’s lotus feet, I would like to share how Mohanji saved my 11 year old son’s life and prevented a similar situation for me.

Mohanji on Faith in Guru

Last Saturday (2nd Feb), at about 9 pm, I got a call from Hyderabad that my maternal Aunt, who was closest to me from my mother’s side, had passed away. She had been suffering from an acute lung disease for a few years, but she was under Mohanji’s protection. I had been praying for her since I got connected to Mohanji 3 years ago.  At the end, her exit was smooth, without much pain due to His grace. I wanted to go to Hyderabad from Delhi to have a last look at her. My younger son and I went, leaving my elder son Sreeshu with his father. With His grace, air tickets were arranged quickly and I was to leave early in the morning of the 3rd. Sreeshu complained a lot because he was not accompanying me. It was the first time for him to be without me for a whole day. I somehow convinced him and went to Hyderabad. While I was attending to the last rites of my Aunt in Hyderabad on the 3rd, Sreeshu suddenly developed an illness; he vomited, then felt very drowsy and stopped taking food. He was just lying on the bed and wasn’t talking much.

When his father called, I thought it was just a normal stomach infection and fever, which would sort itself out in a day and we decided to take him to our family doctor the next day. I just asked Mohanji to look after him till I return, as I had my return flight on the 4th evening. And He did really look after Sreeshu well.

On the 4th morning, he was not better and when he was shown to the doctor, the doctor conducted some preliminary tests, and said he was afraid Sreeshu might be having Swine flu symptoms. Sreeshu also had very low oxygen saturation levels, almost 60%. His nails were also turning blue; suggesting lack of oxygen in his blood. Oxygen should be above 90%. Immediately he was shifted to the emergency care of a big hospital. While listening to all this in Hyderabad, I couldn’t believe this was happening. I asked Mohanji, “You were taking care of him, but what is this?” Still, I didn’t understand the seriousness of the situation and how Mohanji was taking care of my son, as I didn’t completely understand the importance of oxygen levels, at least the percentages. But after he was admitted to the emergency, and there when he was tested again, his blood saturation levels rose from 60% to 90% … Just like that, in half an hour. Then I understood it was Mohanji’s grace that saved my child from a serious issue. He was admitted into kids ICU and was put on IV fluids and medicines and was stable. But my parents and I were still very worried about him in Hyderabad. Also, I had a two and a half hour of flight journey with my little son, and I was to take a cab from the airport in the night at 9 pm to the hospital. That was the first time I was traveling alone in a cab at night, that too for 30 km or almost an hour and half.

Mohanji on gratitude

I surrendered everything to Mohanji and asked Him to take me safely to my son. The flight journey was smooth as my little kid didn’t make a mess, as he always does while flying. I got the cab, was praying to Mohanji incessantly during the whole drive. Whenever I closed my eyes, I could feel Mohanji sitting beside me.

I reached the hospital safely and met my son. He was very delighted to meet me. He was missing me a lot. Till then he was lying drowsily, but when I came, he was energised suddenly. I understood, as Mohanji was in me, His energy was working.

The whole night I sat beside him chanting and praying. The next day at 5 am, he got up and said, “Amma, I am feeling better now.” He was hungry. His functions were becoming normal, thanks to Mohanji, who graced us with this miracle. But still I was hoping that his final Swine flu result would come negative. I couldn’t understand that the ordeal was over, and even if the result was positive, he was becoming better. He had no fever, he was able to eat at least something of what he was given, and he was shifted to a normal room on the 5th evening.

That day, I started feeling feverish and was having body pains. I thought it was just due to lack of rest and continuous travelling and took some medicine. But the whole night of the 5th, I couldn’t sleep due to the fever and body aches. The next day, Sreeshu’s final report came and it was positive. I was very worried. I thought there would be more hospitalisation. But the doctor said as he is feeling good, we can go home and continue the medicine at home. When I was checked up for my condition, I was also under suspicion for that disease, and I was worried a lot again, because it would be very difficult to look after my kids if I got admitted into the hospital. Bur strangely they said I can continue the treatment at my home and they didn’t even bother to test me further. They took for granted that I was positive for that disease. But I was still so scared and worried and I messaged Mohanji. He replied that He has already reduced the intensity of my disease and asked me to relax. After this wonderful reassurance, I really did relax. Then did I understand how He had averted so much of the seriousness and pain for my son and I, protected both of us as a mother would do to her small babies.  He has given us a fresh life; we owe our every breath to Him.

Now my son is ok. He can join school from the 14th of Feb. I am still going through a lot of weakness, but He is helping me do the needful to my family and to Mohanji’s mission.

Only by His Grace, I am still able to create and post 8 daily quote posters on India page, manage other postings on that page, and also on two other country pages. Till now, I didn’t miss even a single day in spite of all these turbulences. Just the will is mine; He shows me the time, space and provides me the energy to do my job. If you take one step, He takes you 100 steps forward. I hope and wish earnestly, that I will serve Him like this till my last breath.

Koti koti pranaam at your lotus feet, my Maalik.

In eternal gratitude always.

4. ‘Love’ly Healing : Revathy, India

I would like to share my daughter’s and my experience during a Mai-Tri healing session. On 13th January, with blessings from Guru Mohanji, I gave healing to my daughter Prajna, who is 11 years old. Initially, she was a little confused about the healing process as she was not aware of it. She had a lot of questions such as ‘how long will it take, what will happen if I open my eyes accidentally during meditation.’ I assured her that the healing is done by Mohanji and I am just a humble instrument. Once she was convinced, we both got ready and lit the lamp in front of Mohanji’s photo. I commenced the healing. As soon as I put my hands over her head, I felt immense energy flowing through my hands and I didn’t feel like moving my hands any further. I felt her tears rolling down, while the process continued. There didn’t seem to be any obstruction or heaviness. At the end of the powerful session, we both hugged each other. She hugged me so tightly and said “Amma, Mohanji is hugging me. This is not you; I can feel Mohanji hugging me.” Hearing this, I too felt overjoyed and tears started rolling down my cheeks. We were in total bliss for the next few minutes.

Then she shared that she saw a beautiful ball of light during the healing. The ball was transparent and light was coming from it. She also felt golden lights coming from the edges of the ball. She was so happy after doing the healing and she understood very well that it is only through Mohanji’s grace that she is healed completely.

Divine Grace

Divine Grace_Mohanji on awareness

“I wish I could have a cup of hot soup now!”  “I wish I could be with Mohanji.” Similar wishes run through our minds each day. We take these to be ordinary occurrences and do not pay much attention to it. Many times these wishes (big or small) are granted too! In this chapter, the devotees have shared some wish fulfillment ranging from the ordinary to the extra ordinary. These throw light on the various dimensions of our Master, Brahmarishi Mohanji. Our Parabrahma not only listens to our words and requests, He reads our thoughts irrespective of the distance and fulfills them immediately. Distance is never a problem for Him. Physically, He may get someone to fulfill it or He may travel astrally to be with the devotee and satisfy the wish. There is not a single place where He is not present and listening.

Every prayer, every wish is answered in various ways. Some may appear very subtle while others are very obvious. What we need to do as devotees is to be aware and conscious of our prayers and wishes and its gratification.

Read on and enjoy the miraculous ways Mohanji performs to fulfill the wishes of His devotees. It could be something as ordinary as eating a papad, a child’s innocent wish of watching TV or a higher wish of getting darshan.

5. My Kalpavriksh – Mohanji: Sreeja Ranjit, Kerala, India

I woke up to the most beautiful day of my life-19/1/19 which I will cherish for ever. I feel very fortunate to share an experience in my life where our beloved Guruji ensured He is forever with us…

Mohanji_with Sreeja

My husband had suddenly landed a job in Ethiopia and was scheduled to leave by the middle of January 2019. It was too sudden, hence my plans to be in Palakkad during Mohanji’s visit in December could not materialise. We had less than a month to go with a huge pile of things to take care of; including some promised visits with family and house construction work to be completed in a speedy manner. Amidst this chaos, I was happy we were meeting Mohanji at the Satsang in Thrissur on 27th December, 2018. Guruji showered his unconditional love on us and ensured that our forth coming visit to Shirdi was taken care of without any hassles. My son Rahul is deeply connected to Mohanji but was meeting Him for the first time. He was a bit nervous meeting Mohanji, but Mohanji’s assurance that “I will always be with you” made him feel overwhelmed with happiness.

The sad part was that we had to go back soon and I missed all the other days I could have spent in Mohanji’s physical presence. Seeing all the pictures on Facebook made me sad but I consoled myself thinking that Mohanji always says, “Do your duty.” Then I came to know that Mohanji would be coming back again for the 5th pranaprathishta celebrations at Shirdi temple, Palakkad  for three days (18th,19th  and 20th) in January. Unfortunately, the dates coincided with my husband leaving for Ethiopia and a family grihapravesham (house warming) in my husband’s house. I was feeling extremely low thinking about the dates clashing with my personal events.

With such sad thoughts, on 18th January, I started reading Subhasree’s testimonial about Guruji’s grace being bestowed on her and her husband on the New Year. I felt they were so lucky and blessed and immediately I wished to at least hear Mohanji’s voice. It had been a secret wish to speak to Guruji over the phone on my birthday. Little did I know that my desire was soon to be fulfilled. My birthday on January 19th dawned and it appeared as any other day till about 8:30 am. Just then I got a call from Vasudevan Swami whom Mohanji lovingly calls as Thantriji. I took the call and he said, “One minute please, hold the line.” My heart beat stopped, for even before my beloved Guruji said hello over the phone, I knew my prayers had been heard and my beloved Parabrahma had taken time out to call me. My joy knew no bounds. I re-live that moment every day even now. I do not know if I missed any part of the conversation as I was in ecstasy and was floating on air. Guruji was full of concern about us and asked how Ranjit was doing in Ethiopia. He told me not to worry and He will take care. All I know is every word he uttered was precious. I had to pinch myself many times to see if it was a dream or a reality! Mohanji ensured that we were taken care of in spite of his busy schedules.

6. Ever Flowing Grace : Dr. Nikita Naredi, Pune

He knows it all…
Of the many miraculous experiences which keep happening in my life because of Mohanji’s presence, the one I am going to narrate is special. Although this incident happened last year, it needs to be shared because experiences and miracles never become old; they have divinity in them; they are a reflection of our faith and surrender to our Master, Guru and God..
I feel the protection He keeps bestowing on me. He certainly means it when He says I am walking with you !

When Mohanji visited Pune last year, he had agreed to stay at my place. Long back, I had expressed my desire that he should bless my home by staying with us the next time he visited Pune. He granted this wish and blessed us.

My husband and I were very excited and started preparations for his arrival. Three days before his arrival I got a call from Rajesh Kamath that 5 more devotees will be accompanying Him. Since we wanted everyone to have a comfortable stay, we wondered how we could accommodate everyone in our house. It occurred to me that our neighbouring flat was empty. Hesitantly, I called up the owner ( I did not know him at all) and requested him to allow us to use his house for a couple of days. He agreed, and we were delighted! We were supposed to pick up the keys two days later. But surprisingly, our neighbor asked us to collect the keys the next day itself and so we did. An hour later we were informed that Father (Mohanji) would be arriving as planned, but those accompanying him would arrive that night itself. We said to ourselves, “See His leela…. He made arrangements for everything; a house, as we felt it will be difficult to accommodate every one in our flat, house keys handed over much earlier, even before the guests arrived! Everything was perfectly orchestrated.” We were simply amazed at the divine play in progress!

The house had not been used for some time. So we came together to clean it and made it ready for our M family members. It was comfortable for them and us too.

Mohanji_woth Nikit_3

Mohanji finally arrived and He was in Pune for 3 days. They were the most beautiful days in my life. All M family members from Pune and the ones who had arrived earlier were basking in His love and happiness.

There were Satsangs and with Father we visited places of power and energy, like Baba Jaan Samadhi and Jangli Maharaj Samadhi. It was joyful to eat meals with 10 to 15 people. In fact every meal was Prasaad. One of the devotees commented they considered themselves fortunate for the opportunity to spend time with Him. Mohanji’s response was, “I have called all of you to experience love and not me!” Bhajans, Aarti, Satsangs and sharing experiences filled the house, making it a temple and what we experienced in those 3 days was pure love and bliss.

https://qawithmohanji.wordpress.com/2015/07/03/unconditional-love/

The reason I share this incident is to express how Mohanji fulfills our pure desires while also making arrangements for its smooth execution. More importantly, He showers unconditional love on us and makes us understand what love really feels like.

Thank you Mohanji for this lovely experience and for your ever flowing grace!

7. The Bestower: Reena Kumar, Gurgaon, India

Infinite gratitude Mohanji! You always listen and take care of your devotees.

By His grace, my husband, daughter and I have been fortunate to attend His retreats. I had an intense desire to be at the Kumbh with Mohanji along with my son. My son is in his teens. He is in Grade 11 and his examinations are in February. So I thought it would be tough to go in February and I surrendered my desire at Mohanji’s feet. Mohanji is so compassionate and caring; He listens to every thought of the devotee. After five days, my husband suggested that my son and I should go on 13th January for the Kumbh. I couldn’t believe it as my son could now attend the kumbh and get back to study well for his exams in February. Mohanji made it possible for both of us.

My son wanted to ask Mohanji on how to concentrate in his studies and about his mood swings. He got answers in the Satsang. My son was having shani dasha (planetary effects of Saturn). When my son went for a dip at the Sangam with Mohanji, my loving Guruji did jaal abhishek (pouring water on the head) for my son. My son shared that he felt very very light and relaxed.

Abhishekam of Mohanji by the participants of the Kumbh Mela with Mohanji pilgrimage in Prayagraj

Mohanji showers his grace on all of us in different ways. Now my son’s concentration has  improved and mood swings are not there. Our Mohanji is vighnaharta (another name of Lord Ganesha).  Mohanji can make the most impossible things possible. We just have to surrender at his feet with unwavering faith.

When we were at the Kumbh, my daughter was at home with my husband.  When he went to office, she felt bored and she was desperate to watch the television. However, the TV was not working and my husband had no time to get it fixed. She was almost in tears and she prayed to Mohanji deeply,”You are God and You can do anything, Mohanji. Please I want to watch TV.” She said that Mohanji came out of the photograph and repaired the TV. She was so happy that the TV which was not working for the last 3 days started working. She called me and asked me to share this incident with Mohanji. The next day when we were about to leave, Mohanji called us and I narrated the TV incident to Mohanji. Mohanji smiled and said, “If a child is crying and praying to me, I always listen.”

Grace of love_Mohanji_Reena daughter
The grace of Love!

One more thing I would like to share. On the last evening at the Kumbh, Mohanji took on a father’s backache after he met with an accident. The child was praying to Mohanji for his father and Mohanji took that backache. No words can describe his compassion and the extent to which Mohanji can go for the sake of his devotees. He is our ‘Sankat Mochan’ (another name for Lord Hanumanji). We can never ever express our gratitude sufficiently as our Guruji gives us much more than we can imagine and gratitude is such a small word. Our gratitude can’t express His compassion which is infinite and beyond the mind.

Infinite gratitude every micro second, dear Mohanji  for everything. We should never allow our monkey mind to wander. Mohanji is a living God. Silently, He constantly blesses and fulfills wishes. Never ever underestimate and doubt His grace. He delivers the right thing at the right time. Just surrender at his lotus feet with unshakeable faith.

Jai Jai Mohanji, always at your lotus feet!

8. A ‘Wish’ful Of Food: by three devotees

Here are small experiences of three devotees on how Mohanji listens to us every moment and fulfills our wishes…nothing is too big or too small.

A Story Of Papad: Subhasree Thottungal, London

Mohanji Global Family Meet
Mohanji Global Family Meet

The story of the Papad incident happened at the global meet in Allahabad. We had our lunch break and every one was enjoying the scrumptious food that was arranged very lovingly by Preeti Duggalji. The lunch was a full Indian menu with chapatti, rice, dal, curry, papad etc. While I was having my rice, I noticed that I had already finished eating my  papad. I had a thought of getting up to fetch another one. But feeling  shy or mere laziness, I didn’t get up. Suddenly Barbara walked up to me, handed over a papad and said, “Father gave this for you.” I looked up, startled. Mohanji was sitting at a table, far away, having His lunch with someone else. He possibly couldn’t have seen my plate without the papad! I was speechless and a bit shy too that He heard me. He actually heard me!

papad

Well no need to say how happy I was to receive this prasad from Him and I enjoyed the rest of my food.  This incident again proved that He always listens to our thoughts whatever it may be! There is no delay, no postponement in fulfilling our wishes, and responding to our thoughts. Such is the way our “Avadhoota in Jeans” works.

During my presentation at the Global Meet, I shared this incident with the group. Mohanji said,

“I did this to show you that I am listening to you every moment”.

Mohanji_global meet_grace.jpg

Thank you Mohanji for fulfilling our wishes with unconditional love and compassion. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

A Sweet Tooth: Padmaja, USA

During the Acharya Level 1 training, there was a tasty, sweet dish served by the loving hosts. I got very little of this dish as I was in the last group of people having lunch. I had a desire to have more of the sweet. Next day, a similar kind of sweet was served during lunch and needless to say, I  got double of it than others. It didn’t take me much time to understand who fulfilled the desire of my sweet tooth!

A Treat Of Ice-cream: Vidya Iyengar

On our way back to Haridwar from Badrinath, my mother-in-law and I spoke about the desire to have the pista ice cream again in the same hotel where we were supposed to lodge that night. Mohanji was not even in our bus physically. To our surprise, for dinner, we were extremely delighted to see the same ice cream served as dessert. I went and spoke about this to our dear Maamu there. He had a smile on his face and conveyed that the dessert that day was supposed to be a rice pudding which suddenly got spoiled. So they had to serve this ice cream.

We were all smiling as we knew whose leela it was!

9. Faith In Grace : Punam Kapoor, Canada

I would like to share an enthralling experience that amazingly happened on Dattatreya Jayanthi.  Mohanji not only heard my silent prayer but also fulfilled it and showed me His and Lord Dattatreya’s presence in our home!

Mohanji_with_Punam and Nalin
The incredible grace of Mohanji!

Last weekend, while attending to our daughter who was in the hospital emergency, Nalin caught an infection. He suffered from severe cough, chest congestion, head and body aches.
Nalin’s recovery took time. The weekend when we were supposed to attend Dattatreya Jayanti prayers at Mohanji’s Ashram arrived but he had not completely recovered.

The previous day we had gone to pick up medicines from someone who came from India. On our way to their home and back, Datta Bhawani kept playing in the car. It was on auto repeat, but curiously enough, we did not set it up thus! We knew this was an indication of the blessings of the Guru Mandala and Lord Dattatreya. I had a feeling that this was an auspicious sign, one foretelling us of a divine experience.

Mohanji – The difference between blind faith and full faith

Unfortunately, I also caught the infection and felt dizzy with head and body aches.  Thus, both of us were unable to go to the Ashram.

I was heartbroken. My first reaction was to wonder why this happened. I asked Mohanji, “Did I make a mistake, do you not like me, how is it that I could not go to the Ashram?” and so on. After sometime, I reluctantly accepted the fact that I was unable to go to the Ashram to attend the puja and the prayers.

Soon, pictures were posted on Mohanji Canada group, which made me feel even more disappointed and gloomy as I had missed it all. All I can say is my heart was at the Ashram, thinking of Mohanji. Then I prayed to Him and said, “Mohanji, you say you are always with me. Would you please send me Prasad from today’s puja? “.
I reached out to my phone to call someone and request them to bring me Prasad, but I did not call. I made multiple attempts to call, but stopped because I did not wish to trouble others.

I tried hard to move on and started doing dishes to distract myself. I was almost done when I got a call from Nina that she and Bhupinder were coming to our home soon. I quickly turned on the kettle to make tea. Just then the doorbell rang and Nina and Bhupinder were at the door.

Welcoming Mohanji
Welcoming Mohanji – in His presence or without presence!

They came in; it was such a pleasure to see them, especially since they were coming back from the Ashram.

They both handed me a tray of rice and a bag of Prasad. This was from the prayers done at the Ashram.

Oh my God! I stood still ….I could hear Mohanji’s voice ringing in my ears, “I am always with you “.

I rushed to my puja room where there is life size picture of Mohanji, which He had autographed for us.
I could hear Him say,

“I am here always, I love you both!”

I said, “Mohanji my heartfelt gratitude, we both love you!!” and I could not stop repeating,” Thank you Mohanji ,Thank you Gurudev Datta, Thank you Sai Deva.”

Mohanji showed me His presence in our Puja room and also fulfilled my desire of getting Prasad from the Ashram, as we were unable to go to the Ashram for Datta Jayanti prayers.
After seeing off Nina and Bhupinder at the door, suddenly, Nalin said “I do my job” in a voice as if Mohanji was speaking!
Can you imagine the vibrations and the excitement I felt? It was as if I was floating!

Mohanji giving shaktipat to Punam
Mohanji’s grace as His Shaktipat

Jai Sairam! Jai Gurudeva Datta ! Jai Mohanji

Conclusion:

These nine pearls are truly an eye-opener for each one of us. The experiences may seem simple but it proves how the Masters hear each and every wish/thought of the devotees and fulfills it. Mohanji is so full of compassion and love, His heart melts when a devotee reaches out to Him. We need to watch our thoughts and words too as the Guru takes on all our pains and suffering. No experience is big or small and each experience is significant from a larger perspective. This Satcharita of experiences should lead us towards introspection – an introspection of awareness and gratitude.

Here is a verse from the Guru Gita (verse 72) that explains how the Guru gives us not only all the knowledge, but fulfills all our desires and gives us liberation too.

Jnaana-sakthi-samaroodhas,

 tattvamaala-vibhusitah,

Bhukti-mukti pradaata yas,

tasmai sriguruve namah.

Meaning:

Salutations to Shri Guru. He is firmly established in the power of knowledge and is adorned with the garland of tattvas. He grants worldly fulfillment as well as salvation.

We conclude this month’s Mohanji’s Satcharita with a quote from Mohanji on Shiva Tattwa (principle) :

Shiva is beyond explanation, notion, understanding or even awareness. Shiva is THE BEYOND.

— Mohanji

Anchored in Love Retreat With Mohanji

Mohanji’s presence brings such divine grace on everyone around that makes them experience supreme bliss and joy while innumerable blockages from life times get cleared off. Such is a powerful experience that Loshini Naidoo was blessed with over the few days in the ‘Anchored in Love’ retreat with Mohanji, in South Africa – November 2018.

Anchored in love with Mohanji_ retreat house.jpg

Return to Calderwood Hall

The venue for the South African 2015 retreat – Calderwood Hall – was where I met Mohanji for the first time; so, returning to Calderwood Hall this year (2018) was extra special.

I had planned to drive to my parents’ home, stay there for a few days, then make my way to the retreat on 12 November as required. My parents live 2.5 hours away from the retreat venue. Since I tend to overthink and stress about travel plans, this seemed like a good idea as it would also give me some time to rest after driving for 625 kilometres from Johannesburg.  The morning to depart arrived quickly and as “luck would have it,” I over slept.   Nevertheless, I was well rested, so I packed my luggage and all that I would need into the car and off we went – myself and my trusty co-pilot, who answers to the name, Kayla. She’s a true, loving soul.

Anchored in love with Mohanji_Kayala
Kayala, An expression of pure love

This weird and wacky travel-mate (a little Boston terrier) manages her travelling by dry fasting.  No food, not even a sip of water from the time she wakes up in the morning until we arrive at our destination.  During long journeys, I usually experience migraine headaches and body aches but not this time. The drive was smooth and serene.  Even Kayla was well behaved at the toll gates – no aggressive barking and getting ready to pounce when I paid the cashiers!

I realised that I had not felt the long distance because the drive seemed effortless, as if I had just been a passenger throughout the journey.

(After sharing this experience at the retreat, Jim mentioned that he did not feel stressed like he usually does when he’s being chauffeured. I had the pleasure of Jim’s company while driving to the retreat from my parents’ house).

Kriya initiation was scheduled for the day before the retreat could start at Datta Tapovan ashram in Durban. I planned to attend the initiation and was looking forward to it.  I woke up early and was ready to leave ahead of the anticipated time.  The invitation was sent out three weeks prior, with a scheduled start time of 10H00. I knew that the drive to the ashram from my parents’ home takes 1.5 hours.  I planned to leave at 07H30 and was ready to go, but somehow decided to check my WhatsApp messages. The first message I saw was from Swami on the group chat, sent at 06H48. He apologised for having to start the initiation early due to Rahu Kaal (an inauspicious time for new beginning).  The start time was now 1.5 hours earlier and we were asked to be at the ashram by 08H00! My first thought was that it will be impossible for me to reach the ashram by 08H00 and that I should stay at home and practice kriya (while the initiation would be happening).  My parents had left to go enjoy their spiritual activities, so I had the house to myself, or not really since Kayla was also hanging-out inside. We went outside for a bit and I noticed that the weather looked gloomy with dark grey clouds.

I silently thanked Mohanji for His benevolence and protection then went back indoors.

I had not practiced kriya in a while but on that day my practice went smoothly and very quick. After kriya, Kayla and I spent some time together for about an hour. I suddenly felt extremely tired and thought that a nap is in order.  Kayla, who usually does not allow me to even sit on my bed during the day, was placid and relaxed. She jumped onto her bed and curled up for a nap. I fell asleep swiftly and easily. The nap turned into a sleep, which lasted two hours. I recall waking up from deep sleep and instantly remembered the dream I had.

I was on a cruise ship which was sailing through an incredibly violent storm. I also remembered that the person sitting with me and watching the storm was an acquaintance, whom I had not been in contact with since finishing high school 17 years ago.

While recollecting this dream, I thought of the pictures I saw on social media three days earlier.  It was of Mohanji going shark cage diving.  I thought how exciting it must have been for those who were with Mohanji (as well as the sharks) to be in the ocean together.

I have had an immense, inexplicable fear of the shear force of the ocean for as long as I can remember but looking at those pictures and thinking about that dream did not invoke and fear/ anxiety whatsoever.

At the retreat, Mohanji said that in the dream state we experience things not within the waking mind – deep sleep is a death state (no mind); and that the dream state is also a state to fulfil karma.

We reached the venue at 13H30. After checking in, there was not much time to rest and by this time I could feel my mind racing.  I offloaded my luggage at the room then went to meet my fellow retreatants. We learned that satsang was scheduled at 15H00.  Excitement was building as I could not wait to see Mohanji!  The introduction satsang was delightfully serendipitous as Mohanji explained what it means to be “anchored in love” – stable through any situation/ living with integrity while being a consistent expression of love.  I have had inner battles for many months, where I questioned my responses (and reactions) to various situations to determine whether I am being an expression of love or not. Although this satsang was of short duration, it cleared many doubts that I previously had.

Catching the Wild Monkey

At the beginning of the retreat, Swami mentioned that he had asked Mohanji to reduce the intensity. I felt an unnecessary disappointment, like a child not being able to go on her favourite outing.  I was eager to calm the monkey mind. By the morning of the second day, the regular monkey mind was now spinning out of control – it was a complete circus with the most random and repetitive thoughts. One thought that fortunately did not bother me was about a dream I had the night before. While falling off to sleep, I had felt and saw (as if I was watching a scene in a movie), a hand lightly punch my back on the area between the throat and heart.  Immediately after this I remember having a feeling as if I was falling from a height, I turned on my side and fell off to sleep again.  It was not the best sleep, considering the full day we had, yet my body had rested.

During the morning satsang on the second day, I lost concentration while Mohanji was speaking. It happened for a split second. In His booming voice, Mohanji called my name and said: “Loshini! Where is your mind?” At that moment my mind was blank. I then felt something being drawn out from my chest centre, Mohanji explained that a thought travels extremely fast.  In a few seconds, “one could be thinking of America.”  By addressing me loudly, He had caught the thought and stopped my mind from wandering before I was even aware of it.

Anchored in love with Mohanji_ Satsang with Mohanji
Mohanji with His crystal clear explanations during satsang

“When the mind is scattered, you are not a unit. Then there is no freedom. You will be bound to all those thoughts. How to become a unit? Be here now.”

Mohanji also asked what freedom means to me?  He made me speak that day as I usually do not speak in front of lot of people. Impromptu speaking in public is not easy for me but by the end of the retreat, I was able to share my experience with everyone (at the front near the stage and with a microphone) as if it was the easiest thing to do. There was no anxiety or fumbling for words.

Being Nature

Anchored in love with Mohanji_ beautiful garden
Love everywhere

Mohanji emphasised that we are nature and explained how nature can heal itself. We do not connect to the frequency of nature hence do not have that natural ability to heal ourselves. After conscious walking in the beautiful natural surroundings of Calderwood Hall, Mohanji graciously guided us to connect to the Earth. In the beginning my senses were being bombarded by all kinds of sensations.  I could feel every blade of grass poking me were I sat, I heard every insect, bird song, Hadedas (Ibis, known for its distinctively loud calls in flight) squawking, ducks splashing, water lapping, and even the sound of vehicles travelling on the road a few hundred meters away.  Once Mohanji asked us to place our palms down and feel the Earth. While doing so, I could feel the energy from the ground circulating within me, and nothing else mattered. A day earlier, the group did Conscious Walking and Power of Purity meditation near the lake.  Here I experienced headache, fatigue and a general feeling of heaviness being relieved.

Many leelas were experienced at the retreat which confirmed Mohanji’s teachings as well as His state of being an Avadhoota.

Beautiful Nature

We spent our days at the retreat in beautiful surroundings and calm, sunny weather. However, one afternoon as we stepped out for Conscious Walk, heavy dark clouds hung above the guesthouse grounds. A few people insisted on still going for a walk. Mohanji looked up and said: “Let’s go!” The dark clouds mysteriously cleared enough for us to complete the walk and it rained just as we went indoors.

Throughout the walk, the Hadedas squawked and circled above Mohanji. While speaking about nature’s healing ability and everything being connected, Mohanji told us that the Hadedas were keeping the indigenous spirits away from the retreatants.

Bees were building a hive near the room that Mohanji occupied.  Swami stated that these bees were working to protect the retreatants who were occupying the rooms nearby.  When Mohanji was leaving the venue, I pointed out that the beehive was white with a strange powdery substance near it. The picture below does not do justice to the real live hive as it was clicked from a phone – it was a pure white, oval shape with the honeycomb structures clearly visible from ground level.

More than just ordinary beehive – the divine soldiers were at work! photo credit: Warren de Beer

Warren asked Mohanji if it’s vibhuti (holy ash), to which He casually replied while looking up: “It’s possible.” Sadly, as the retreat ended, we noticed that many bees were dead on the walkway below the hive.  How incredibly blessed were we, to have nature protecting us?

Just as Mohanji was concluding the programme on Thursday evening, a storm occurred with heavy rain, lightning and thunder. To me it felt as if the intense weather was a validation of all the inner cleansing and healing that took place during the week.

The drive back to the airport from the retreat I had to exclude doer ship entirely.  I was worried about the Friday traffic from Pietermaritzburg, road works in the area and my travel mates’ relaxed approach to departing the venue. I knew that the trip from the airport on Monday, would take 2 hours.  Naz had a flight to catch at 17H00 and it was already 14H00.  Usually my mind and heart would be racing, but I calmly went to look for Jim and Naz and we left the venue at 14H10.  “Being driven by purpose, all personality complexes go away.” We made it to the airport just in time, maybe even with a few minutes to spare.  All I can say is that I never drive the way I did that day with passengers in the car; yet no anxiety was experienced.  As Mohanji said: “When you think of me, I work inside you.”

After the retreat, Mohanji went to Cape Town.  A few people made plans, months in advance, to join Mohanji in Cape Town. I declined due to a course I was meant to attend, the week after the retreat. I woke up early, and while getting ready, I could not help but shake the feeling that I should stay home. However, I put it out of my mind and prepared to leave. The venue was 17 kilometres away and was scheduled to start at 08H15. Knowing Johannesburg traffic, I left home at 06H40.  It took an hour to navigate through the streams of cars and taxis and I eventually arrived at the venue.  Anyone who knows South Africa will know how much fun taxis are during peak hour traffic. Taxi drivers disregard the rules of the road which, in the past, would prompt reactions of irritation and swearing from my part. Not this time though… I went with the flow (of traffic).  As I stepped into the venue, the facilitator greeted me and asked if I was there for the course by Terra Firma, since I did not attend the day before.  I told him which course I had booked for and showed him the email confirming the course logistics. He decided to assist by calling the coordinator to find out if there were any changes.  Turns out the course was cancelled, and the coordinator mistakenly omitted to communicate the changes to me. While speaking to the coordinator over the phone, I only experienced a cool feeling of acceptance and responded in a congenial manner (inside and out). “Acceptance leads to surrender.”

The drive back to my home went against traffic so I reached in 20 minutes. While driving I thought – okay Mohanji, what should I do today? Instantly I thought of the experience-sharing write up that was planned to be typed out during the weekend.  I scheduled it for the weekend as I anticipated homework from the course since there’s an exam for accreditation purposes. Since I have never written about my experiences, it seemed like a difficult task to express it in words.  I switched on my laptop, read through my notes from the retreat and began typing.  After what I believed to be a final draft, I clicked “send” on my email and my laptop went off.  I had noticed that the battery needed charging but ignored it as I was too engrossed in typing to be bothered with fetching the charger and plugging it in.  The warning icon was still green when the laptop went off.  Generally, there would be some time from the green-icon-stage until it goes to amber/ red before switching off.

Mohanji watching us always

For some reason, I felt oddly tired and decided to nap (yeah, that happened again!  All this sleep after not being able to sleep properly this year. On average, I was sleeping lightly for about 3 hours at night.  In June, I could not manage and consulted a doctor who prescribed sleeping pills as well as anxiety medication. The sleeping pills worked for 3 nights – after that the rest of the medication when into the garbage bin).  I fell into a deep sleep soon after getting into bed.  I dreamt that I was staying at a huge house, together with Mohanji, Devi and a few other people.  It seemed like an idyllic, beautiful place where we spent time just relaxing and practicing a strange yoga-like posture.  The challenge was to keep one’s shoes on while practicing, a feat not easily achieved.  In this dream, I got to spend time with someone very dear to me although we went our separate ways 13 years ago.  My heart expanded with love for this dear one, and I was filled with joy with the opportunity to enjoy their presence.  Toward the end of the dream, while I was explaining how best to do the yoga-like posture, in which Mohanji also joined the conversation.  I was raising my heels off the ground to stand on tiptoe, while reaching my arms up as high as possible. Mohanji smiled and said: “You will reach very high if you continue like that.” I was awoken by Kayla running into the room and showing (i.e.: asking) in her own cute and comical way that I must dish up her dinner. It was 17H30 and I had been asleep for 3 hours.

All these experiences and changes are only due to the grace of being in the presence of a great Master.

The Power Of Blessings

Radha Sreenivas did exactly what Mohanji says in the above quote. With Mohanji’s blessings, she surrendered her thoughts and fears created by the mind to the Guru and immediately felt free.

Om Parabrahmaya Vidmahe

Shiva Tattvaya Dheemahi

Tanno Mohan Prachodayath

I invoke the grace of Guruji (Mohanji) for penning this experience as it has enhanced my faith in Him completely. He is my Father, with whom I can share everything.  He holds me as His child, protecting me, blessing me and standing by me. I offer this sharing at your feet, my Guru Mohanji!

It has been a long cherished dream of my husband to build a Shirdi Sai temple.  He soon located a land for the construction in a remote village. I was initially very hesitant as it was far away from Chennai (where I live) and I felt that I could not live in a village lacking modern facilities. My husband explained that he had a dream of Akkalkot Maharaj in that place.  I immediately agreed and all of us gave our 100% to make this dream a reality. Soon, 22nd of August 2018 was fixed as the date for Bhoomi puja or earth sanctifying ceremony.

The Power Of Blessings_Sai Temple

In the meantime, in July, we received news that my son (aged 23 years) who was working in Bangalore had been hospitalised and he was in the ICU with blood in his sputum. We did not panic as he had a history of cystic bronchiectasis from childhood but proceeded to Bangalore.  When we entered the hospital, we found my son happily eating food from outside, amidst so many other critically ill patients. On enquiring with the doctor, he told us that he was admitted in the ICU as a precautionary measure since there were chances he could vomit blood again. Thankfully, nothing happened and my son was discharged after two days of hospitalisation.

On our return to Chennai, we happened to consult an astrologer about my son’s health condition because in all these years he had never been hospitalised as our family physician had assured us that it was a congenital condition. After getting the details of his birth date and time, the astrologer got back to us saying that the situation was very grave and totally out of hand. He recommended some pariharam – quick fix solutions to thwart the ill-effects of the planetary positions. This led to a panic attack within me. I was distraught and prayed to Shirdi Sai to save my son’s life.  I blacked out in a state of panic and grief engulfed me at the supposed calamity. I had thoughts of suicide and went into a state of depression. I prayed that my life should be taken away instead. I spent the whole night in a state of fear and became hysterical, weeping continuously.

The Power Of Blessings_Radha and son

However, the same astrologer called up the next day and assured us that he had placed the ‘prasnam’ (issue) again before God and realised that there was no threatening condition to my son’s health.  To gain more clarity, we consulted one more astrologer who assured us of the longevity of my son’s life and that there was no cause for concern. It was only a minor health condition.

Amidst all these, the Bhoomi puja of the temple was conducted as planned. We went again to Bangalore for the health check-up of my son. The same doctor, whom we saw in the ICU before, refused to look at his past medical records which I held in my hand and started speculating on the reasons for his health condition without doing any tests.  He categorically stated that it could be any major health problem. He also added that various tests could be done afresh and to await results hoping for the best. His attitude was one of diagnosing a health condition for the first time. Had he compared the old records with what he had taken in the ICU, he would have understood that it was a congenital problem and not alarming in any way. He could have saved us the ordeal and trauma that we underwent. My son was taken aback by his negative approach. When he came out he just asked me why he should go, when he was just 23 years old! This question from him completely broke me! I was mentally shattered. It is not a question a mother would like to hear from her son. Fear gripped me although I assured him that nothing was wrong with him and that he would be alright.

We took all his reports to our family physician in Chennai who assured us that he had no progressive affliction and there was no danger to his life. Two of the bronchioles in the lungs had lost their elasticity. This was definitely not life threatening as the condition had not deteriorated and they remained the same as they had since my son’s childhood.

But the hospitalisation, astrologer’s prediction and the Bangalore doctor’s negative assessment took a heavy toll on my emotional health and I started getting nightmares. I earnestly prayed to Shirdi Sai for a solution by showing someone who could take away my fears with an assurance about my son’s health.

Around this time in Oct 2018, my husband went for the Consciousness Kriya programme in Bangalore. He was worried about leaving me in this condition and arranged for people to be with me. Although I did not give it much thought, I asked my husband to talk to Mohanji about my son. Mohanji blessed him with an ‘Eye Card’ and advised my husband to give udi (holy ash) mixed in water to my son.

On his return, he took me to Kishore’s house (regular POP meditations were conducted here) on Diwali for an introduction as I continued to be restless, worried and living in fear. The following week, I attended a POP meditation at their house for the first time. It was then that Revathi told me that I could message Mohanji in case I had some pressing need. She also shared many experiences which gave me the confidence that I could approach Mohanji.

The same night, at 8.35pm on 15th Nov 2018, I messaged Mohanji about my negative thoughts and lack of peace.  Lo and behold, at 11.42pm, I received the message, ‘Blessings, blessings‘ from Mohanji. Immediately, just by reading the words, great calm and peace of mind enveloped me. From that moment on, my mind released its fear; negative thoughts just disappeared and I slept well. The words ‘Blessings, blessings’ had so much power… Mohanji had understood my situation and He had sent healing through the words and cured me. I realised this very soon. We are all His children and His grace protects each one of us.

Since then, I have attended all activities and POP meditation sessions in Chennai and find great solace and security in Mohanji’s love. My Mohanji family brother and sisters, Kishore, Revathy and Rekha Murali have always been very loving and supportive. After reading Mohanji’s posts and quotes on FB, I am very touched and have completely surrendered all my activities to Him.

With this surrender, an ardent desire arose in my mind to see Mohanji in person and to take His blessings. We came to know that Mohanji would be attending and addressing a public satsang in Thrissur on 27th Dec, 2018 and we immediately made plans for the journey.

The Thrissur meeting with Mohanji is one of the most cherished moments of my life. I was super excited to meet Him. After the satsang, I was so excited that I quickly climbed the stage in eagerness to seek His blessings much to the chagrin of my husband. But then Mohanji lovingly smiled and took a sweet I offered (I’d prepared the sweet at home and had taken it with me) from the box and promised to eat it. He also assured me most lovingly that He will look after my son. I could feel pure love and selflessness emanating from Him. Soon, I got another chance to get close to Mohanji on stage. My husband and I seized this opportunity to invite Him for the proposed Kumbhabhishekam  (consecration ceremony to homogenise, synergise and unite the mystic powers of the deity in a temple) at our Shirdi Sai temple and He most lovingly promised to come. My heart just overflowed with happiness.

As Mohanji held my hand, I conveyed my deepest wish to Him; it is my greatest wish that my entire family (my son included) should be with Him as His devotees. He said, “It will happen.”

All that I require is patience and I am 100% confident that this will happen, now that my Guru is with me. He has also assured me, “I will take care of him.” I don’t need anything else.

My heart overflows with love and gratitude as my Guru Mohanji is always with me!

Faith, conviction and volunteering for the mission!

By Arun Vathavooran, UK

Mohanji says, When you move through the path of spirituality, you may face many obstacles. However, those will all dissolve if your focus stays steadfast on God. If you establish your focus on that highest Divinity, and are determined and resolved to continue till you merge with it, nothing will be able to stop or stand in your way. God or the Guru will automatically guide and hold your hand through that path of evolution.”

Arun has experienced the above, sharing with us a beautiful experience of how Mohanji’s grace and love helped him miraculously at a time of need. I grew up as a vegetarian but became a vegan shortly before my Kailash yatra with Mohanji in 2016. It was a fairly straight forward process for me to become a vegan by giving up dairy. However, I find it really challenging to obtain vegan food while travelling. In particular, I find it very hard whenever I travel to far off places like Siberia on business assignments. I am slightly flexible only while travelling and consume dairy products as a regrettable exception. My travel agent has listed my food preference as ‘Asian vegetarian’ in the file for a long time. I tried to update that to ‘vegan’ in 2016, but she advised me that it would be difficult to get vegan options on the routes that I frequently travel. So, I decided to leave it as it was. My business trips normally last 1 to 2 weeks and is always booked in advance so that the special meal is requested on time.

Last summer (2018 June) there was an unplanned request at work, asking me to attend a meeting in Freiberg, Germany at short notice. The request came on a Wednesday and I had to travel the next day to make it to the meeting on Friday. My flight tickets from London to Dresden via Frankfurt were booked at the last minute and the travel agent said it was too late to request a special meal. I wasn’t bothered much because it is a short flight from London. The itinerary was planned in such a way that I would fly out on Thursday to reach Dresden at dusk, and the host would pick me up from the airport to drive to Freiberg which is about an hour’s trip. The meeting was scheduled for that Friday morning; it was also planned that they would drop me back at the airport in the afternoon to catch an evening flight.

Everything went well until I reached Frankfurt, where I missed my connecting flight to Dresden during the afternoon rush hour at Frankfurt security. They rescheduled me on the next flight, but that meant I would only reach Dresden shortly before midnight. Therefore we agreed that I should stay at a hotel near the airport overnight and they would pick me up in the morning at 7.30 am. I checked in late, but got up early in the morning, did my Kriya and was ready to leave by 7:30 am. I couldn’t get any vegan options from the breakfast menu, so I had a light vegetarian breakfast (that contained dairy products).

Unfortunately, there was a road accident (which I was not aware of) and my host was stuck on the highway which was closed. They managed to reach my hotel only after 10 am to pick me up. We were on the way, but had to take diversions as a result of road closures and reached our meeting venue in Freiberg by noon. We all realised that we were running out of time as my return flight was at 6 pm and the road closures were still in place. Everyone agreed that we should go on with the meeting without breaking for lunch, and then I could catch a train by 4 pm from the nearby train station to avoid getting caught in the traffic again.

The meeting went well and I managed to get a train as planned, but I was really tired as I didn’t have any food since my light breakfast around 7 am. I didn’t try to buy any food on the train or at the train station simply because of my language difficulties (I don’t know a single word of German). However, I was hopeful that I would get some vegan / vegetarian food at the airport.  I reached the airport on time, but couldn’t find any vegetarian options there other than wraps containing shredded raw carrots and lettuce. I wasn’t prepared to eat raw food after almost fasting the whole day, but managed to get a slice of bread and banana from the business lounge (that was the only option other than peanuts and biscuits) and hoped that I would get some food once I reached Frankfurt.

Once in Frankfurt, I wanted to rush through the security to avoid the same mishap that happened on the previous day. While rushing through, I checked my emails on the phone and found out that there was an urgent request from the Mohanji Publications Team to translate the 360 degrees meditation in Tamil along with the other meditations. It was mentioned that someone was available in Mumbai to record and a quick turnaround of the translation would be very useful.

I had forgotten my hunger and tiredness after reading through the email but wanted to speak with my friend and fellow volunteer Jay about how we could split the work and get this done quickly. I rang him when I reached my boarding gate and we had a detailed discussion about the translation and various other activities including arrangements for an ACT seva (snack stall in Skanda Vale). At the end of the call, I realised that I didn’t have much time to look for a meal, but needed to board the plane soon. I managed to find a nearby café that served vegan falafel sandwiches and tea, and satisfied myself with that.

I boarded the plane quickly and was seated on time. To my amazement, once we were airborne, one of the cabin crew members came up to me, checked my name and said “Sir, we have received a special meal request for vegan food for you.”  I couldn’t believe it for a moment because no special meal request was made in the first place for this trip! Further, even if it was, it should have been vegetarian and not vegan. While my monkey mind was analysing this, they served me with a scrumptious meal that consisted of rice, dhal, potatoes and another vegetable curry along with a mini naan bread, followed by fresh fruit salad. I would say it as a feast, considering my situation (fasting all day) and the location (plane food).

It didn’t take too long for me to realise that this was a divine play of our beloved Guru Mohanji. It was indeed another confirmation that our Guru looks after us and fulfills every single need, even without being asked. I have read about food unexpectedly being served to Guruji Avadhootha Nadananada while he was travelling on a train and was really hungry. I have also read a similar account in ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ where Paramahansa Yogananda had been given food in a miraculous way while travelling. However, actually experiencing such an amazing miracle was a wonderful reconfirmation of the connection I have and deeply feel with Mohanji. My heartfelt gratitude and love for my beloved Guru for taking care of me always.

I would like to share here another experience that showed me when we serve with love, faith and conviction, Guru’s grace and blessings are always with us.

As mentioned earlier, we soon started translating the Tamil script of the 360 degrees meditation, and I promised the Publication Team that it would be ready within a week. However, it was a busy week at work and I was under pressure to get two reports completed in the same week. Report writing is certainly not one of my strengths; normally I take relatively more time to complete reports. Further, in the line of my business, reports are an iterative process as well. Normally draft reports are updated following peer review, project manager review and client review. Most of the time, it is a tedious time consuming process.

I surrendered all to Mohanji (both my work reports as well as the translation) and started working on my reports. It turned out that I was able to finish both the reports on time and also managed to complete the translation at the same time (much of the translation was done at work during unexpected free time after reports). Surprisingly, there were no comments from any of the reviewers!

The translation of 360 degrees meditation was another remarkable experience on its own. I was able to feel energy movements within my spine and sahasrara region (similar to meditation) while working on the translation at my computer, even with my eyes wide open. At one point during the translation, I felt that I should close my eyes for a moment to enjoy this energy (the energy was so intense at that time). Once my eyes were closed, I could clearly see Mohanji standing next to me at my office desk! I have seen Mohanji in meditations and dreams several times, but this was indeed a magical experience, to see Him watching over me at work. I realise how blessed I am, to be in the protective embrace of my loving Guru Mohanji and to be given such wonderful opportunities to volunteer for Mohanji’s mission. I surrender all at Mohanj’s divine feet.
