One of the conversations that caught my attention yesterday was something that I’ve heard Mohanji speak about before, but yesterday, there seemed to be a different intensity. There was also a shift in his general state yesterday; it was much more intense after all the rituals. It was a simple question that caught my attention and stopped me from doing my work: “What are you doing for Earth?” The way he said it was profound. He continued it in the Satsang, and I thought it was an interesting perspective that I wanted to share.
Aditya and Rekha from India share their experiences of practising a deep cleansing technique gifted to the world by Mohanji called the Conscious Gapless Breathing.
I’ll normally go into the room, and if he’s busy, I’ll sit down and wait until he’s done. I’ll continue with my work. There’s rarely any chitchat; there’s no idle talk because that’s how I have a relationship with him; for others, it could be different. For me, it’s very matter of fact. We’re using the time well because there are things to do during the day; we come together, have a succinct conversation as we talk through the main points. If there are any messages or calls that come whilst we’re speaking, Mohanji takes them; I’ll sit, and then we’ll get back to talking.
Personally, for me, since being here, one of my patterns has been brought to my awareness – that element of passivity, not really fully engaging, almost being on the side-lines or the stands, just watching what was happening, but never quite being fully involved. I know Mohanji doesn’t like that type of attitude. He said before, “If we’re here, if we have a body, if we have time, if we have space, then we should use it to make a great life, live our highest potential of humanity, and do something positive in the world”.

While listening, I could feel Mohanji’s energy very tangibly inside me moving up my spine to the top of my head. I spontaneously began to see inside my head the different teachers and Masters that I have connected with and all the different processes that I have practised at different stages in my life. It then dawned upon me that the driving force, the connection and the source of all experiences behind them were Shiva.
Today, one of the lessons which I’ve learned living with Mohanji is about living consciously. And this is living consciously with our own environment and the impact that we have on Earth. This is from an observation of Mohanji, and I feel it’s a really important awareness to have in our lives, as it’s about the consumption of what we have in the world, of the basics such as food and water.
