A journey from gross to subtle

by Madhuri Araligidad, India

Much anticipated call from Mohanji

It has been two years and a couple of months since I got connected to Mohanji, or rather the advent of my sat-guru Mohanji in my life. There has been a huge transformation in my spiritual evolution and awareness level then and now. Transformation is visible in my constitution.

On May 10, 2021 (on the birthday of Shri Yukteswar Giri), Mohanji’s consciousness opened a big door for me by connecting me to a clairvoyant, a wonderful channel of Mahavatar Babaji. Since then, my family members, close relatives, and I started taking guidance from Babaji for our material and spiritual quest. Babaji told me to hold on to my guru Mohanji and to be consistent with my sadhana. That is how my daily practice of Power of Purity meditation started.

One day while sitting for POP meditation, I slipped into deep silence. The state was so deep without a single thought, and time felt totally still. Suddenly, a string of energy touched my consciousness and revealed a message. It goes like this: “Emotional state… Threatening thoughts”.

After this message, I slowly started gaining body consciousness and understood that it was the energy of Paramhamsa Yogananda Baba himself. In hindsight, I got the answer for my unnecessary mental malaise, which had been bothering me for the past few days. I honestly got elated and also a bit surprised over the fact that no-mind state can fetch the divinity itself. When I got to talk to Mohanji over the phone, Mohanji confirmed that it was Yogananda Baba’s message. After taking guidance from Babaji and following the master’s instructions sincerely, we could witness the grace factor flowing, and many pending issues started resolving.

On February 20, 2022, I got the wonderful opportunity to talk to Mohanji in the morning around 8 AM via phone. Until then, I had only met Mohanji in the dream state or astral meets. When I listened to Mohanji’s voice at the other end, I got exhilarated and uttered, “Mohanji… Mohanji… Mohanji…!”. He lovingly said, “Yes..Yes!”. Without further ado, I narrated all my astral encounters with Mohanji, and he confirmed all of them and said, “Yes, I did ! That is how I communicate”.

One time while I was watching Mohanji’s satsang video, at some point, I saw an exquisite flash of purple-coloured light from Mohanji’s right palm. I could not believe my eyes. While talking to Mohanji, I also asked for confirmation, and he said, “That is a state!” and confirmed that experience. Mohanji also showered many blessings on me and said, “I am with you, Madhuri!”.

Meanwhile, I also handed the call to my brother; he also got lots of blessings. Then it was my mother’s turn; she got exhilarated and saturated in Mohanji’s blessings. Mohanji told her, “Main baccho ke saath hamesha rehta hu aur rahoonga !” (I am and will always be with your children!). My brother and I asked Mohanji to keep us intact on the path as the energies of Maya (grand illusion) are dense. Mohanji blessed us by saying, “Tathastu..Tathastu..Tathastu!”. Mohanji also asked us to visit the Kukke Subramanya temple.

Let me back up a bit: A couple of weeks ago, as I was eagerly waiting for this much-anticipated call, Mohanji astrally called me (in a dream state) and told me that he would indeed talk to me. On February 23, it was Mohanji’s birthday, and we saw the entire live program on youtube. This time my connection felt even deeper as I had talked to him just a couple of days ago.

Now, after hanging up the call, it was time for us to think over the Kukke visit and follow the master’s words ASAP. We discussed all this with our father. He immediately agreed, and on March 3 this year, all 4 of us set off to Kukke Subramanya temple. The rituals went very well, and we also visited Dharmasthala Manjunatha Swamy temple, a powerful 800-year-old lord Shiva temple, en route to our return journey.

Both the powerful temples are situated in the lush green, serene western ghats. One can literally feel the high vibes after stepping into these temple premises. Even priests were extremely dedicated to the service of the Lord and did all the rituals sincerely for each devotee. We also partook of the delicious prasad in both temples.

As I was basking in the serene vibes of dense forest in the vehicle on the return journey, my attention went up to the sky. I could clearly see the hollow outline formed by clouds, and it was unmistakably Lord Shiva’s form that appeared in the sky. It was huge and beautiful, and there for a couple of minutes. Unfortunately, I could not capture it on my phone. It must have surely been the blessings of Mohanji.

We were almost halfway through the journey, and suddenly my brother started throwing up heavily. It was truly disconcerting to see him in such a state. He kept taking Mohanji’s name mentally. We attributed it to changes in food, journey, summer condition etc. After a couple of minutes, a strong message hit my mind. It said, “It will happen two more times”. By not paying much heed, I immediately brushed it aside. To our surprise, the same thing happened with my brother intermittently. He threw up. He looked feeble after heavy throw-ups, that too at midnight. We reached home safely around 4 AM and breathed a sigh of relief after a tiring yet beautiful journey.

I slept around 4:30 AM. I went into a deep slumber after a few minutes. There I met Mohanji astrally. Mohanji was happy with our pilgrimage and said, “When some negative stuff is being removed, such things will happen”, alluding to my brother’s throw-ups. Mohanji also manifested a heap of Udi; I took a pinch of it and applied it to my forehead. When I turned around to talk to him very excitedly, Mohanji disappeared into thin air. Upset that the astral meeting was over, I opened my eyes. I narrated this entire incident to my mother and brother; he was very happy and thanked Mohanji profusely.

My communion with Mahavatar Babaji

As my connection with Mohanji started stabilizing, Mohanji began to open new doors for me by making me recognize the presence of other powerful masters walking this planet earth and tirelessly working to uplift human consciousness. I want to name those masters with deep respect and with sincere gratitude. They are Yogiraj Gurunath Siddhanath, Pujyasri Athmanandamayi Mataji, and Brahmarishi Pitamaha Patriji. I voraciously watched their videos as my intellect was craving spiritual knowledge. My awareness level has skyrocketed since then; all these masters came into my dreams along with Mohanji and gave messages. Patriji vacated his body on July 24 2022; his wisdom truly lasts for eternity.

I still remember how Mohanji met me astrally and prepared me when Brahmarishi Patriji was vacating his body. It so happened that, on Sunday, July 24, I went into deep slumber around 3 PM after meditation. I met Mohanji astrally and communicated with him through deep silence, looking into his eyes and vice versa. Little did I know that I was about to hear unfortunate news the very next day. On July 25, on Youtube, I stumbled upon a video. A live stream was going on, “Mahasamadhi of Patriji”. I was totally shattered that day; I felt a great void in my heart. Mohanji says, “Masters’ physical presence on planet earth itself is a huge grace and blessing. One should not take it lightly.”

In September this year, my brother got the wonderful opportunity to meet Mohanji in person at his Bangalore residence for the first time. The meeting went extremely well! Mohani gifted the “Miraculous Days with Mohanji” book. He gave us four blessed cards, one Udi packet and his beautiful blessed photo and asked my brother to hang it on the wall facing east.

Power to discern, power to let go, power to detach, all these qualities are being enhanced because of consistent sadhana and connection with Mohanji. I can connect to myself more and more, and at deeper levels, I bask in the beauty of silence. A murky mind can never fetch the subtle beauty of life. The journey is highly individualistic; we are truly more than our physical bodies. Once we shed our physical body, the spirit still continues its journey in astral realms. Loving oneself against all odds is the key.

The learnings for me are: good vibes, peace, a clear mind, and lightheartedness are the essential ingredients for a healthy, happy and successful life. The surrounding vibes are only sometimes conducive to practising productivity. The energies pulled me down, and I also succumbed to such energies. At this time, one quotation from Mohanji comes to my mind, “Life does not come tailor-made”. This keeps me going, and also grace has always protected me.

I would like to end this writing with a quote close to my heart, “Coincidence is God’s way of remaining anonymous”. What an Avatar our beloved guru Mohanji is!

The power of Consciousness Kriya

consciousness-kriya

By Dejan Cosic, Bosnia and Herzegovina

In ancient times there lived a great and curious king who challenged all wise men of his kingdom to explain the idea of karma, karmic law and karmic processes. Many sages passed through his palace and gave various replies, but those did not satisfy the king, who continued seeking a more profound answer. Finally, a liberated master appeared in front of him. He said, “Nobody can reveal to you the secret of karma, which you can only experience by yourself,” and gave him an initiation into Kriya.

And that’s exactly what Consciousness Kriya is. A deep but lit path towards our own soul and the understanding of the law of our very existence through a direct and clear personal insight, under the support and protection of Mohanji, a master who has found the way towards his self and the absolute Consciousness.

Kriya Yoga - Through Breath to Light

I had been waiting for about 13 years for the opportunity to get initiated into Kriya. In the meantime, I practised various breathing techniques and meditations, but they all proved futile in terms of what I was yearning for, and that was a long-lasting peace, and above all, of course, control over my own mind, which at that time was like a herd of wild horses. Without a doubt, those techniques were providing me with a lot of energy and certain insights, but the understanding of myself and the world was not the way I wanted it to be. Something crucial was always missing.

The only thing that I was sure of was that my mind was completely scattered and so indecisive that I couldn’t even decide which technique to practice at times. That’s why I really wanted one single technique that could replace all others. That was Consciousness Kriya. I understand now that all those techniques that I used were like riding a bicycle compared to riding a spaceship that Kriya provides.

I started practising Kriya in 2016, but not regularly/daily, as I was taking breaks. Even though I knew that the science of Kriya demands great discipline, that is an everyday practice; I didn’t dare to set a clear intention and make a decision not to skip a single day. However, in February last year, I made up my mind, and since then, it’s been over 400 days now; I have been practising Kriya on a daily basis.

Now I notice a big difference. It’s hard to put into words the heat in my palms and spine that I feel almost every day; the enjoyment of the breath that is much longer now so that while practising Kriya, I inhale approximately once a minute, while sometimes I am completely merged with the breath. My energy is more stable; I am more peaceful. I sleep less, and I need a lot less time to accept some difficult moments as they are and to get out of the emotional instability.

Simply put, I have more control over myself. I feel and understand better my body, mind and intellect, as well as many obstacles that my mind poses. I have an impression that I understand better and can distinguish between the thoughts that are really mine and those that belong to ego or are simply not mine. In short, the ‘antivirus program’ called Consciousness is active non-stop and gives me the opportunity to connect to myself on a deeper level and witness all that is happening within me and around me.

In the middle of last month, I had a significant experience related to the time we live in, as well as the fear and insecurities that we are surrounded by today. So, one afternoon I realized that I’d lost the sense of smell. Without any fear, I thought the cause of it could be coronavirus, even though I was feeling well.

The next morning, I woke up extremely tired and with very little energy. I think I was ready to spend an entire day in bed. However, I didn’t give up, and that day I did Kriya 3-4 times and, in such a way, renewed my energy completely. The next day I was as good as new. Several days later, it turned out that I tested positive for Covid, but I went through it completely intact and, with an important experience, ‘Praise the Lord.’

In the end, I’ll repeat the words that Mahavatar Babaji said to his disciple Lahiri Mahasaya, “Even a little practice of this science will save you from great fear and colossal suffering.”

Many Masters or this one?

By Preethi Gopalarathnam, India

This is an important message! I heard the podcast Real vs Unreal by Mohanji and I felt I had to share my experiences and learnings. If you have not heard this, please listen to it. The link is attached at the end of the blog.

I have known Mohanji for the last seven years and have been associated with Mohanji Foundation in various capacities. During this time I have met some very interesting people. Some people have come here, bloomed and are shining bright, polishing themselves and adding value to the world to the best of their capacity.

Some have come and done some great work and have gotten distracted because of personal, mental, and financial issues and have slowly dimmed out. Some have joined the organisation because their friend or family have joined and are connected. These people come on someone else’s belief. They believe everything and everyone and lack their personal anchor to the truth. So many times, I have seen them become disillusioned and leave either unhappy or not satisfied.

There are some, however, who join this organisation and then join multiple such organisations too. They believe in many Masters, and they usually say, “All Masters are one”, so I will learn from everywhere. It’s like taking multiple tuitions for one subject to crack the exam! You attend class after class but no time to assimilate and learn because we are busy with classes.

I have been fortunate to meet and observe all these flavours of people, and these are my observations only. I felt a strong urge to pen them down, and please read through it and take it only if it makes sense to you.

Yes, it is true that all Masters operate from one Consciousness, but the first question to ask ourselves is, are we in that oneness state to realise that? Unless we are there, it is someone else’s truth we believe in. It’s not our experience. If we go back to all the books and life history of great Masters like Yogananda and Vivekananda, we see that they respect all Masters, but they are firmly rooted in one Master and one Guru. Why?

Don’t they know that all Masters are the same? My understanding through my experience is as follows.

At some time in life, we ask for spiritual progress, we pray for guidance, and this prayer is a deep, earnest call from our soul. I can take my example. I connected to Mahavatar Babaji first. I prayed to Babaji, asking him for a true Guru whom I could relate and connect to. Then I was led to Mohanji. Now, how do you know that the Master in front of you is the right one?

Simple, your knowing comes from how sincerely you prayed for guidance and help! This is how I found my Guru. I did my own thorough analysis before I took Mohanji for my Guru, though. It was not instant realisation though there was an instant connection.

I saw for myself the state of purity that he was operating from. I observed his interactions and knew he was genuine. He practised what he preached. He was humble. He respected all Masters, but at the same time, he was a storehouse of power. I started seeing miracles in everyone else’s life and mine too. It was only then I took Mohanji as my Guru. It was logical, and it happened naturally. After taking him as my Guru, I had this confusion. What to do with Babaji now that I found Mohanji?

I see many people who are connected to Babaji, Sai Baba, Ramana Maharishi and many other great and powerful Masters. They find Mohanji, and then I watch them divided. Do they follow Mohanji or the Master who got them to Mohanji, who is powerful and not in their physical form. If the Master is in the body, you can directly go and ask him, so no confusion! I have been there in that space and suffered this confusion, so I felt I should share my experience. Mostly they pray to both and follow both, and that is what I mean by they are divided.

Initially, after I met and connected with Mohanji, I used to get these messages of people channelling Babaji etc., and I have initially gone there too, thinking the source is the same. Everyone is nice and loving, and you feel great energetically. But then we can’t follow everyone and every teaching, right? If we get two contradictory practices, what to do?

I would like to share my experience here. On one occasion at a friend’s place, I had the experience where Lahari Mahasaya and Sai Baba both appeared in the picture of Mohanji that I was holding. I was telling her that I feel sad about why Babaji had to send me to another Master and why he couldn’t come directly and speak to me as he does to all the other people we read in books. It was at this moment that I looked down at the picture I was holding of Mohanji.

It was unmistakable; both these Masters appeared in Mohanji’s eyeballs, each on both eyes. It was unmistakable! I was trembling and shaking, in tears because from inside came a realisation, showing me that all Masters exist, embody and speak through this one Master now. While my question to her was naive, it had purity, so the Guru answered it for me.

We need to remember something; we asked sincerely for guidance from a Master who has left their body or God. If we were in the state where they could communicate with subtlety and directly with us, they would have done it, right?

The fact that they sent you to another living Master proves the authenticity of the Master and your need for this particular Master and their sign of approval for you to move forward with him or her.

It doesn’t mean we are leaving our God or older Master; it means they will start speaking through this living Master, so we understand. Then, in this case, I personally feel the search has to end there. It is this Master in front of you who they will speak through if they want to from now on. Isn’t that why they sent you here in the first place! If you are still in doubt (the mind I tell you!), surrender this to your original Master and say, I did this as your guidance now you take care. Mohanji has said several times the story of a man who took a buffalo to be his Master, and he attained the highest. The sincerity and faith of you, the seeker, is all that matters here.

This experience at a friend’s house was a surreal experience for me, and I know it was true because it transformed me completely. My search for Gurus and people connected and channelling Masters stopped there. It happened naturally and automatically.

I would also like to share another observation. My deepest transformations started happening with Mohanji after this. It has been a rapid journey after that. It took me a while to understand that the connection became pure, and all distractions and loopholes for doubts were eliminated so that the Master could deliver. I could be receptive only after that incident. I still have a long way to go, but that’s surrendered at his feet now. It’s his job; mine is to hang in there however difficult the ride turns out to be!

Kalpataru Series – Ageless

By Subhasree Thottungal, UK

23rd February 2020. Mohanji is 55. The truth is Mohanji is AGELESS.

Mohanji’s 55th Birthday, Sri Lanka

Almost a year and a few months ago, one morning, this thought came to me…”Mohanji is ageless.” Peculiarly, the next morning around 3 am, I woke up (in the Brahma muhurta – the most auspicious period to connect to the self and the Supreme Consciousness) and happened to see a spiritual blog by someone deeply respected by Mohanji. Well, I am not a serious reader as such and don’t look out for blogs to read, but this one had appeared in my notifications. Following the experiences that happened post reading, I realise this was a divine plan for me to come across the blog at that auspicious time.

Katargama Lord Murugan

Well, the blog mentioned about a place named ‘Kataragama’ in Sri Lanka. Reading through the descriptions, I understood that this is the place where Lord Murugan (the son of Shiva, also known as Kartikeya or Subramanya) had reincarnated. This is also the place where one of the most famous amongst all spiritual seekers, ‘Mahavatar Babaji’ was taken into the discipleship by his Master/Guru Bhoganathar. At the age of 16, Guru Bhoganathar taught him the art of ‘Kaya Kalpa’ – which enabled him to remain a youth forever!

Reading this brought a thought in me that “Mohanji is ageless”. The first chord was struck.

The next point that struck yet another cord in my awareness was when I read that after Babaji returned to India, Sage Agastya initiated him to the secrets of the breath, which was followed by the birth of Kriya Yoga. This reminded me of Devi Amma’s (from Bangalore) confirmation of Mohanji being the spiritual son of Sage Agastya and that Mohanji initiates genuine seekers of liberation into Kriya Yoga. A similarity that my naive mind couldn’t ignore as mere coincidence!
Joining these dots gave me the awareness of the oneness of Babaji and Mohanji. Well, why ponder here and there. Let me ask the Master himself, I thought. But Mohanji, as always, never claims himself as an incarnation of any other Master.

He always says,

“I am born as Mohanji, I will die as Mohanji. I am only Mohanji.”

Mohanji in Sri Lanka

Well, after this naive expectation to hear a confirmation from Mohanji himself, I understood that realising the truth of the oneness of Mohanji and Babaji, is a truth that was meant for my awareness only and will stay as my truth. No justification, no evidence, no approvals, nothing is required. The awareness of this truth is beyond any revelations.

The next morning, I received a WhatsApp message from my friend Preethi Gopalratnam from Mumbai. This was a conversation between her and Mohanji on Kataragama. She had expressed her wish to visit Kataragama with Mohanji! Preethi was an ardent devotee of Mahavatar Babaji and always felt that Babaji had sent Mohanji to her to answer her seeking to experience Babaji in a physical form! This message from Preethi was a silent confirmation from Guru Mandala about what I realised the previous day with Katargama being a critical point of reference. We both spoke later, exchanged our realisations and surrendered our wish to visit Kataragama one day, with Mohanji. That was November 2018.

I had written a blog on this experience which you may find in this link here – “The truth beyond revelations”

With Preethi in Sri Lanka

One year and three months later, on 23rd February 2020, on Mohanji’s birthday, Preethi and I were with Mohanji at Kataragama! This trip to Kataragama wasn’t that easy. I wasn’t sure if I could make this trip. Surely it was for the completion of my realisation, and also a confirmation to Preethi’s questions that we were both taken, literally taken together to the place that played such a vital role in our realisation. And we were taken by the Master himself, appearing in the very ordinary physical form with whom we can connect so easily, but firmly and deeply.

With Preethi in front of Katargama Temple

Walking hand in hand with Preethi to the temple, I was elated with the feeling of eternal joy that our Master gives us through his grace and compassion. Standing inside the temple, watching Lord Murugan and Mohanji together, the vision of oneness was crystal clear!

Certainly, my question (that came as a silly and naive question earlier) was answered by the divine himself! There was nothing more that needed to be answered!
Mohanji stays as Mohanji for me, Mohanji will remain as Mohanji forever, but this lesson of oneness was probably one of the biggest lessons that I learnt.

Doing my Kriya practice at the very sacred place where Babaji used to meditate while he was with his Guru Bhoganathar, in the presence of Mohanji around us, gave complete clarity! The connection to the supreme Master, to Parabrahma, the Supreme Consciousness is the only eternal truth. It was indeed not just a coincidence that this completion happened on Mohanji’s birthday in Kataragama.

Regardless of the number of candles on the birthday cake, Mohanji will remain ageless for me, in my connection to Mohanji’s Consciousness.

Thank you Mohanji, for giving me such a beautiful gift on your birthday – physically, a very joyous occasion to celebrate with the global M family, and spiritually a fulfilling accomplishment.

Love and compassion of my eternal Guru

The role of faith on our spiritual journey

M 2

By Eric Elbers, Canada

Back 46 years ago, at the age 30, when visiting friends over a weekend, I stumbled upon a few books by Edgar Cayce, known as the Sleeping Prophet. Being raised in an orthodox Dutch Protestant family, these books were my first exposure to the serious possibility of reincarnation and the associated law of karma. Edgar Cayce himself, a devout Christian and Sunday school teacher, was amazed when, in a deep trance, he started reading past lives and the karmic origin of current problems that the people who visited him for advice were facing. I still remember that a light came on, an insight happened: “Yes, of course, that makes a lot of sense and explains so many things in the world.”

That realization started a frenzy of reading of spiritual literature that appeared familiar to me and also showed me insights and knowledge of Eastern traditions that seemed familiar, even though they were not a part of my upbringing. A resurfacing of things I had known before. Then I had this prophetic dream, which I remember to this date. I was shown a beautiful, large mansion, and a clear voice told me, “This house has been built with patience and perseverance.”

That was it. That was the guidance I received with which I was sent off on my spiritual journey. Surprisingly, those two words are very similar to the shraddha and saburi [faith and patience] precepts, which are the core of the teachings of Shirdi Sai Baba, who I would learn about forty years later, but first things first.

During my early spiritual explorations, I learned about a movement called ‘The Science of Soul Travel’. It promised to teach out of body travel and travel with spiritual masters in the inner worlds. Now, that sounded like a great adventure and quite appealed to me, so I went head over heels into a path that promised to make me a ‘Spiritual Traveler’. I followed this path for thirty years. I became a ‘Higher Initiate’ and ‘Spiritual Aide’ and fulfilled a variety of leadership positions, but, disappointingly, the subtlety of Soul Travel kept escaping me, despite attending numerous seminars and diligent execution of the spiritual exercises. Still, I kept my faith until, in the early 2000s, a bombshell hit. One of the Higher Initiates carried out intense internet research and discovered that many of the teachings were plagiarized from different sources. The leader of the spiritual movement himself had fabricated a fake lineage of spiritual masters in whose footsteps he supposedly was walking. Needless to say that then a crisis of faith occurred, and it did not take long for me to leave the movement after thirty years. It was quite interesting though, that even though the masters were fabrications, they did seem to work for many people as spiritual guides and as sources of spiritual inspiration. There is an essential principle of faith at work here, which ties in with the pivotal role faith plays on our spiritual journey.

Being disappointed with fake masters, I reread and became fascinated by Yogananda’s ‘Autobiography of a Yogi,’ a spiritual classic about Kriya Yoga, the spiritual roots of which appeared genuine and very deep, which led me to start following the Kriya Yoga path. But one has to watch out here as well: the Kriya Yoga tradition has branched out in different paths with different Gurus of varying caliber, teaching different variations, and it took me a while to find a branch that resonated with me. But soon after, the Master of that path decided to stop traveling and remain in India, which made personal contact more difficult and thereby made my journey more isolated and sadhana centered. Is it necessary to have a personal connection ‘in the flesh’ with one’s Guru? Probably not, but one may consider it a huge blessing if the opportunity presents itself, and such personal meetings help to kindle the flame of devotion.

With all this study and pursuit, I developed a problem: too much head knowledge. I realized that while practicing Kriya Yoga, I was drawn to the Raja Yoga and Gyana Yoga paths but lacked in service [Karma Yoga] and devotion [Bhakti Yoga], so I started looking for a spiritual connection that could fill those gaps. A beautiful female Indian saint, known as the ‘hugging saint’ yearly visited North America, and I felt drawn to the love and compassion she taught and radiated. I followed the guidance of this inspiring saint for several years. Still, I realized that it would be hard to connect personally with her since, after thirty years of being on the road sharing love, compassion, and hugs, this saint had built up a vast following of hundreds of thousands to millions of devotees. Many thousands of people attended meetings at a time, and it would be tough to obtain access to her, let alone build a personal relationship. I kept reading and studying, and then something significant happened: Sai came into my life.

Shirdi Sai Baba

Shirdi Sai Baba [1838-1918] intrigued me from the outset. Here was a real incarnation of divinity. A presence so profound, a knowledge so deep, love and compassion so strong, abounding miracles and transformation, universal, non-denominational spirituality and a life dedicated to the service of the Almighty, what more could one be looking for? All boxes checked, except Sai was no longer in the flesh, having taken Mahasamadhi over one hundred years ago. However, more reading about the life and miracles of Shirdi Sai Baba followed. Soon, I ended up reading about Sathya Sai Baba, according to his revelation, a more recent reincarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba, but also and more recently departed. While reading the Special Issue of Awakening Times about Sathya Sai Baba [1926-2011], I came across an article written by Mohanji. He explained his first contact and mystical relationship with Sathya Sai Baba, which had occurred after a tough and challenging period in his personal life. Reading the blogs of Mohanji about his spiritual connection with Sai Babas, Mahavatar Babaji, Nadananda, and disciples of Nityananda made it clear to me that Mohanji was recognized and supported by illustrious Saints of the highest stature as a very advanced Spiritual Master with an important mission. Plus, he was in the body and actively traveling and teaching. This was good enough for me. Here was my chance to connect with a Satguru in the early stage of his spiritual mission, which would allow me to be of service and have an opportunity for personal contact. Plus, Mohanji also was a Kriya Master in the Mahavatar Babaji Tradition. Another box checked. I quickly contacted Mohanji to request whether he would approve and bless me to start a weekly meditation class of his meditations in my home. The answer I received was that he had already received my request through consciousness and had approved it with his blessings. I was on my way!

It took a year and a half to meet Mohanji in person. While standing in line to greet him, I saw him glance briefly at me with a sign of recognition, and when a little later I was formally introduced to him, he said, “Eric and I have a very deep relationship.”

That was surprising and not surprising to me. Surprising because this ‘deep connection’ was something I had not been aware of [I thought I had searched Mohanji out] and not surprising because being allowed a close personal relationship with a Satguru is a privilege built up over lifetimes. How can it then be a surprise to hear that a deep connection exists?

Mohanji and Eric

For me, the propelling force on the journey from Edgar Cayce to Mohanji over forty years, following different teachers with ups and downs, was faith, and the dream-vision that “this house has been built with patience and perseverance”. However, while fellow travelers over the years were able to share beautiful inner experiences, the path I traveled was one of insight, patience, and perseverance; no fancy soul travel with elevated Masters, no inner plane cinematography. I grew up in a Christian environment built on faith and have had to accept that faith, not fancy experiences, is crucial for my spiritual growth. Peter, the disciple of Jesus, was able to walk on water when he saw Jesus after his resurrection. Yet, as soon as he looked down and realized he was walking on waves, the realization that this could not be happening caused him to start sinking, and the helping hand of his Master was needed to pull him up. Faith allowed him to walk on water, but as soon as it left him, he started sinking. The same applies to us all.

The spiritual journey often starts with a tire-kicking phase, checking out different paths and Masters, checking them out, and going for a test drive here and there. Yet, once this phase is complete and we settle down and start following a particular Master, we better stop looking for the higher, better, more significant, or more glamorous and famous Master and begin building a relationship with our chosen Master based on faith. During the trying out phase due to the absence of faith, it is impossible to develop a strong relationship with any Master. This is illustrated in Stage I by the dashed lines and the various Master figures surrounding the seeker, experienced either simultaneously or sequentially. However, once a connection is made with a particular Master, and the seeker starts placing his/her faith in the Master, a subtle, energetic connection starts forming in the subtle realms. This connection begins tentatively but becomes stronger over time as the seeker, and now disciple starts to place more and more trust in his Guru and allows the Guru to flow guidance, protection, and blessings through this energy conduit. Stages II and III show how this energy conduit becomes bigger, and the energetic distance between the disciple and Master shortens as the connection between the Master and disciple strengthens.

Then, during Stage IV, an important change starts to happen as the disciple’s energies and the Master’s begin to overlap and merge. In this stage, the disciple starts to act increasingly as a channel for the Master to work through. Finally, in Stage V, a complete merger of energies occurs as the disciple becomes Self-realized as the ego boundaries dissolve.

The fundamental principle is that the entire progress from Stage II to Stage V is dependent on the faith the disciple places in the Master. It is faith that keeps the channel open. It is faith that draws the connection closer, and it is increasing faith that allows it to expand. Without faith, no progress is possible.

And then there is the role of doubt. Doubts are the tests given to measure the strength and depth of the disciples’ faith. They will occur from time to time to test the strength of the bond. If the disciple allows doubts to enter into the relationship, there is little the Master can do. Doubts are the worms that chew away at the energetic connection. Once established, they will gnaw holes through which the connective energy starts leaking away, and the energetic connection weakens. Once the first doubt has done its work, a second one finds it easier to enter, and over time, holes open up in the energy channel [Stage VI]. Then the channel loses its ability to maintain an energetic connection between disciple and Master. Therefore the disciple needs to be vigilant and robust because doubts may enter innocuously. It may be a remark from a family, relative, or friend, a passage in an article, a whispered rumor or slander that gives credibility, etc. All serve to test the mettle of the devotee. Is there sufficient faith to allow for a closer connection? This testing happens all the time. Once doubts are permitted to enter and are entertained by the mind, the relationship sooner or later gets broken. The disciple loses a God-given opportunity for Self-realization in that lifetime. It may take many lifetimes to receive another chance to connect with a Satguru, and every time the tests will reoccur. Once broken by lack of faith, the connection is tested again and again until finally, one develops a connection that is strong enough to withstand all attacks and allows the devotee to complete the journey. Merger with the Satguru energies can then occur, which is the same as merging with the Absolute [Stage V].

An interesting illustration of the power of faith is that the devotees on the Soul Travel Path I initially traveled had inner experiences with spiritual Masters whose existence, as was later shown, were fabricated, having had no Earth history. Yet, a connection was formed on the inner planes through the faith of the devotees, which allowed Divine Spirit to use the Master’s matrix to function as a spiritual connection through which teachings and protection could flow. It was faith that initiated the relationship and trust that maintained it.

In the words of Mohanji:

“Life is about faith. Faith happens, sooner or later. When ego subsides and gets nullified through consistent downfalls, faith happens. Faith leads. Faith soothes. Faith reinforces. Faith nurtures life. Faith elevates life. Faith stabilizes life. Faith liberates man. Faith increases with experiences. Faith decreases when we disown our own experiences; swapping it for other’s opinions or book knowledge. Faith increases when surrender becomes absolute. Faith decreases when ego becomes predominant. Faith is real if it is spontaneous. Faith is transitory if it is induced or inherited. If man’s herd instinct leads to a certain faith, it ends when he turns a new corner. Such is the passing faith, which has no longevity. Faith-based conviction is more real if the conviction is based on truth.”

Jai Mohanj. Thank you, dear Master, for taking me home. I place my faith in you.

Eternal Grace

Mohanji in BAdri

Travel with Sonia Gandhi on a magical pilgrimage, where Grace showers her with the fulfilment of her smallest desires.

By Sonia Gandhi

It was only by Mohanji’s grace that the Badrinath-Kedarnath trip happened for me in September 2018.

Flashback to March 2018: On the last day of the Machu Picchu trip, I had this weird dream early in the morning, where I saw Mohanji going away from me. I was a bit disturbed by this dream and ended up speaking to Mohanji and requesting him never to leave me.

He said to me, “I’ll never leave you.” Then after a pause, he said, “Come to Badrinath.

With my eyes wide open, I was thinking, ‘How will I manage this?’ I had just taken 15 days off work to come to Machu Picchu, and I was about to change jobs. I did not think that I would have enough leave left to travel again in September, as I was to join my new job in June.

Fast forward to August 2018: My boss approved my leave as it was the start of the financial year for us. However, I had to work from India for a few days to enable me to travel during the weekend. Since I live out of India, a trip to India was an opportunity to meet my family as well. I thought there would be nothing better than getting my whole family together on the Badrinath-Kedarnath pilgrimage. As my mom was a bit low (following my Dad’s passing away), this would be a good change for her and we could all spend time together at a holy place, in the presence of Mohanji.

It so happened that seven members of our family were part of a group of 33 to Badrinath and Kedarnath, beautifully managed by Mamuji, Preeti Velekar & all the lovely volunteers! It was a joyous journey and full of unexpected events, as you will read.

Our family got lucky and were able to attend the public Satsang that happened in Rishikesh, the very day we reached Haridwar. (The towns of Haridwar and Rishikesh are at a distance of approximately 25km from each other- Ed.) We spent time in the bus singing and chanting in bliss, although we were stuck in traffic for a while and thought we would be late.

As the bus stopped and I stepped down, the first thing I saw was Mohanji, who was stepping out of his car at the exact same time! We rushed to meet him, filled with so much joy at seeing him and taking his blessings. It’s always special meeting Mohanji although we know he is always with us, guiding us.

The next morning was scheduled for the Homa- a ritual with offerings to a consecrated fire. This was something I had always wanted to attend, ever since I first read about a Homa in Canada in 2014, and had learnt about the amount of cleansing that had happened during that event. We were fortunate enough that Mohanji decided to do the Homa himself in Rishikesh.

Mohanji told the group that he likes to start on time, as all the deities are present, once the start time has been announced, and it is not good to make them wait.

The energy was so intense from the start. Mohanji’s face shone like the sun and the heat from the rising sun made him shine even more brightly. He did not move until the Homa was finished, which took around 4 -5 hours. The intensity of the Homa was such that the presence of Masters was strongly felt.

homa
Homa in Rishikesh

Towards the end, each of us had to offer a dry coconut to the fire, which kept burning till late night and did not easily urn into ashes. It’s unheard of that a dry coconut does not burn, with so much of ghee (clarified butter), wood etc. added to the fire as an offering. We understood that this was due to heavy karmic baggage that would not let the coconut burn!

We were also asked us to write what we would like to offer to the fire and put that paper into the burning flames, lit separately from the Homa fire, in a place a little distance from it (after the Homa was completed). Mohanji was personally standing there till everyone put their papers into the fire. Some of the papers refused to burn in the fire: yet another unheard or unseen event! The heaviness it was meant to be clearing from people was so intense, that it took ages for all the papers to burn! I have so much gratitude to our beloved Guru Mohanji, who works tirelessly and unconditionally for uplifting all beings.

We then started our journey by visiting Neem Karoli Baba’s Ashram and Shri Lahiri Mahasaya’s Ashram. Both places are very powerful with amazing energy!

While visiting Lahiri Mahasaya’s Ashram, we got a chance to go inside the cave where he did Tapas (spiritual practices that often involves a high degree of self-discipline, solitude and periods of deep meditation – Ed).

I was sitting with some other group members, in silence, in a small room, in front of the cave, waiting for the others to come out. There were a few pictures in that room, one of them was of Mahavatar Babaji. I looked at the picture and felt intense energy coming from it. I sat there silently praying to Babaji to give me a glimpse of him in a physical form. ‘I may not be eligible, but you are ever merciful. Please give me your Darshan (Divine sight)’ I thought, and cried.

I had never prayed to Mahavatar Babaji this way before, and I wasn’t sure, why I was doing it, as I am usually deeply in love with Sai Baba and believe he is my best friend, my Divine Father. I realised what the link was later while entering the Kedarnath temple.

Mohanji in Badrinath

En route to Badrinath, our group was stuck on the road due to a landslide, which is common in that region, when it rains heavily. We had to find a place to stay for the night. With Mohanji’s grace and Mamuji’s tenacity, we got two hotels to stay in, for our group.

The next day, we met the rest of the group.

I was talking to someone, sharing one of my experiences in Machu Picchu. Mohanji was talking to someone else, but he looked at me and suddenly said, “I told you to get in the bus!” I was puzzled. He said again, “I told you earlier too, to get in the bus”, and said to the person next to me, “She (me- Sonia) knows what I’m talking about, she will tell you later.

I stood there even more puzzled and started thinking about what it signified. It was only later that day that I realised what Mohanji meant. This explanation has two parts: one part that happened in Machu Picchu in March 2018, and another part in Oct 2010 in the form of a dream.

I will narrate the dream first. In Oct 2010, before I physically met Mohanji, Sai Baba had been my best friend and protector. While I was going through a tough phase in my life, I saw this vivid dream at about 3.00 am.

In the dream, someone was harassing me and I was asking this person to let me go. Suddenly my mom appeared, together with my (deceased) grandparents, who came to rescue me. I went with them and we were waiting for a bus. I was getting impatient in my dream, as it was taking a while for the bus to arrive, but they told me the bus would arrive soon. So it did. A white bus arrived, which had white chairs outside and inside, and all the interiors were white too.

As it seemed full from the outside, I complained that I might not get a seat, and my mom said, ‘You will get one, don’t worry, get into the bus’.

A few people got off and I climbed up the steps of the bus. I looked at the driver’s side of the bus and the driver was wearing white clothes too, with a white turban. As I looked at the driver, he turned his head and looked at me – it was Baba! My beloved Sai Baba!

At this point, I woke up, with so much joy in my heart and went to Baba’s picture to talk to him, and saw him smiling in his full glory that made my heart expand so much, during those tough days.

Now to March 2018, Machu Picchu:

While walking near our hotel in Machu Picchu, Mohanji, who was ahead of me with some others, suddenly turned around and asked me to go and click the picture of a bus!

This was a bus that looked like a toy bus, which was on a small bridge, in the small town of Machu Picchu. I rushed to the bus, clicked a picture quickly and returned, but he pointed again, and said, “You didn’t click it properly- go and do it again.

So I went again, knowing in my heart that I had rushed it. Later on, when I saw the picture, it had four dogs with the bus, which were missing in the first picture.

Bus
The Bus with the four dogs

Four dogs represent the four Vedas and are always seen in representations of Lord Dattatreya.

So this is what Mohanji was asking me to do: to “Get in the bus”, i.e. to completely surrender my words, thoughts and actions, to the Tradition and let them take care of my journey onward. This was such a beautiful message, in the most subtle way linking the dots from 2010 to March 2018 and finally to Badri-Kedar in Sept 2018!

I felt so sad for taking so much time to understand Mohanji’s message. I surrender to him to give me Buddhi (intelligence) to understand the message, quicker.

Yes, I believe that Mohanji knows the past, present and future, and can see things which we fail to see with our human minds and limited awareness.

Back on the road, while waiting for the roads to clear, we were enjoying Mohanji’s company. We started singing, and I took up the song that goes: Om Jai Sainath, Jai Sainath, Aadi na anth tumhara, tumhe shraddha naman hamara, Dharti par rahkar prabhu tumne tan ambar tak vistaara. Translated, this means: O beloved Sai, there is no beginning and no end to you! I bow down to you with faith. Living on Earth, you have expanded into the Sky and beyond!

The roads did not open that day and a few members left on foot to walk towards Badrinath, while the rest of us decided to stay back. My mother was with us, so all our family decided to stay back.

We had a beautiful satsang that evening, with Mohanji talking about the manifest and the un-manifested universe, and many other deeper topics. I was not feeling well but attended the satsang as it always lifts my spirits.

The next day we started our journey again, as we were told that the roads would be open that day.

We packed our bags and were on the road again, but we had to stop on the way as they were sending traffic through from another side, before letting us go up. While we were waiting, there was a beautiful waterfall next to where we had stopped. After spending some time with the group, I decided to go up by myself near the source of the waterfall where I sat down to do my Kriya practice. Within 7-8 minutes of Kriya, I felt expanded.

Suddenly, I saw myself inside Mohanji’s consciousness. I became part of him and I could see myself expanded to the extent that everywhere I looked, everything was Mohanji: not just the earth plane, but outside too – the manifest and un-manifested Universe. It is hard to explain, but there was no sense of ‘I’, as I became part of him and part of the Universe.

He made me experience the expansion I sang for him just the day before and that he had talked about in Satsang the evening before! This little mind is not capable of knowing how Masters operate, but I believe that it was through sheer Grace that I was able to experience this.

Then suddenly, someone came up to take my picture and I came back to normal consciousness, and back onto the rock that I was sitting on. I went down to the road after a while and was told that Mohanji was asking about me.

I went to see him and offered my pranaams (salutations), and he enquired, “Ah! Sonia Gandhi! Where were you?” I said ‘Father I went up near the waterfall’ to which he replied, “Yes! I know! I was there, I came to meet you, but other people came. I feel shy when there are other people, so I came back, you see! I’m very shy!

What could I say to this? Our beloved Parabramha, who is One with the whole universe, after showing me the glimpse of it, says “I’m very shy!” I burst into laughter and Mohanji gave me a big smile.

I love you to eternity Mohanji! Only gratitude at your lotus feet.

We had a blissful darshan at Badrinath. The first sight itself was mesmerising, the beautiful main entry with vibrant colours. The view is a sight to behold and enough to melt the heart!

The next day, we had a dip in the hot water spring and got ready to go for a morning Darshan at the temple. If I tell you that I had no idea that it was a Narayana temple, you might laugh at me! Yes, I thought it was a Shiva temple, going by the name. I later came to know that it actually had been, until Lord Narayana came there for tapas and made it his abode.

We went inside & witnessed the whole shringar ( dressing up) of Lord Narayana. There were around 40 people in the temple. Apart from us, there was another group. We started chanting, and the other group began to respond so that they would sing one chant, and then we would sing another. I sang to my heart’s content and loved every minute of it.

After the blissful darshan, we resumed our travels and I was back in the car. We stopped at a small dhaba (roadside eatery) after a while. While we were waiting, we saw Mohanji’s car arriving. He too decided to eat at that dhaba with us. I was seated next to him with gratitude in my heart for this wonderful opportunity! I began to feel energy swirling inside me and felt my mind begin to go blank.

While eating, Mohanji said, “You know I’m eating spicy, because I’m …. cutting Karma.” I couldn’t hear the full sentence and just nodded. He said again, “Tell Kamath what I just told you.” I repeated the part sentence to Kamath who completed the sentence, ‘Cutting your Karma’. I sat there in complete shock. Within seconds, Rajesh and Sanya took the remaining spicy food from Mohanji’s plate and ate it.

Sonia

I just sat there in shock processing what I had just heard! How does our beloved Avadhoota in jeans work? No, the mind cannot understand his subtle ways of working.

Only gratitude & surrender.

We reached Kedarnath very late and stayed overnight in a beautiful resort.

While I was in the queue for Darshan & silently chanting, like a flash, appeared a very vibrant and young (around 16-17-year-old) yogi, coming out of the Kedarnath Temple, in just a dhoti. His appearance was similar to Mahavatar Babaji as in the portraits I had seen, and he had a very bright face. Just then, a lady behind me said something to me, and as I turned to the lady and then looked back in the yogi’s direction, he had disappeared! It was all an open area, but I could not see him anywhere!

Was it that my wish (that I made in Lahiri Mahasaya’s Ashram) was granted?

I do not know, but it was a most beautiful sight and I can only bow my head in gratitude.

As I took the first step inside the temple, something shifted inside so strongly, that I could not hold back my tears, and I actually cried out & sobbed loudly!

I felt I belonged to this place, and energy and a strong sense of love enveloped me. It felt like a homecoming after lifetimes. I was sobbing and the guards were looking worried, thinking I was getting altitude sickness and breathing heavily.

I could not really tell them that I was completely fine; it was strong energy, the connection and feeling of belonging to the place.

They left me alone in one corner for a while, and I ended up standing sobbing there for almost 15 minutes with so much bliss & love that my heart could not contain it! So I was standing there in the inner sanctum without being disturbed for almost 10 minutes and was able to offer my prayers and gratitude, whilst others were hurried out of the sanctum.

The next morning, Mohanji was talking to someone about the Kumbh Mela and its significance, while I was standing at some distance, listening. I felt it was a message for me and it turned out that I ended up going to Kumbh in Feb 2019, which is for another blog that I am writing!

While driving back from Kedarnath, we had to stop on the way due to the road being blocked at one point in the journey. We got out of our vehicles and were taking pictures. I saw a beautiful waterfall, and my heart expanded. I started visualising the waterfall doing abhishekam (ritual pouring of water or other offerings) to Mohanji. Lo and behold, in less than 5 minutes, I saw Mohanji walking out of his car and he stood near the waterfall and I was able to capture exactly what I had visualised a few minutes previously.

Mohanji waterfall
Mohanji near the waterfall

I had no words to say anything. I just felt so blessed to have such a compassionate Father, Master, Guru and friend in the form of Mohanji in my life. He knows every wish and fulfils it without a delay if it is from the core of one’s heart.

The last day of the pilgrimage arrived all too soon, and it is always hard to bid goodbye to Mohanji. When my turn came to offer my Pranaams, I had only one question in my heart, ‘When are we meeting again, Father?’ Before I could say anything, Mohanji looked at me and asked me the very same question, “So, Sonia Gandhi, when are we meeting again?” What can I say, he knows my every thought and wish!

So I asked him, ‘Please call me to Kumbh, Father’. He gave me a big smile and said, “Come.

There are many more subtle instances that touched my heart, but it’s hard to list everything.  Yes, he knows my every little wish & fulfils it.

I have only gratitude and more gratitude to our beloved Mohanji.

Stone to Crystal

By Subhasree, UK

M walking1.jpg

In 4 days Mohanji is coming! Well, I can’t miss the counting, even if I do, my 9 year old son Sambhav keeps reminding me every day – “7 days more & Mohanji coming”, “6 days more and Mohanji coming”…so on and so forth. Pure innocent children resonate more with Mohanji, the innocence incarnate! Sambhav’s excitement is pure, no expectation, no ritual, no formality, no stress! Not only he is excited and counting days of Mohanji’s coming, he also keeps me on my track and checks, “what are you going to give Mohanji for dinner?” Therefore, I had better keep everything planned! Mohanji’s bodyguards can be found in any form! May be this time, in form of Sambhav! Hahahaha…

child1.png

Amidst all preparations – cleaning, shopping, packing, scheduling, planning, (the list is not a short one!), the excitement pervades. Time is flying. Especially the last week has gone so fast, as if there are only 4 hours in a day, not 24 hours! This is a proper festive season – just like Dussera, Diwali or Christmas. However, none of the chores brings any fatigue. There is only Joy and joy everywhere. Mohanji is already with us through these preparations. We are living Mohanji every moment!

Well, as much as I would like to just constrain myself in this joyful festive environment, I still have to keep on continuing my Dharma, my duty. Compassion Incarnate, Mohanji made sure that my Dharma (duty) also becomes joyful. Two days in a row, I was drenched with BLISS through experiences that showed me the power of Surrender and Devotion and reiterated Mohanji as the Sole existence.

tirur9.jpg

I would like share these two experience here.

Experience during Mai Tri Healing

Mr Patel (Name changed to respect his anonymity) wanted to have Mai Tri healing done on his ailing old mother (I would address here as “Aunty”). Despite the back-to-back tasks, I could not say no, as that was my dharma to be available when someone needs. They came in and we had some chats about Mohanji’s visit, the programmes, aunty’s health, hospital trips etc. Aunty had lost her husband recently and still in that shock which has affected her health. Whenever she comes home for healing, she looks at Mohanji’s photo and talks to Him. Like a child, smile doesn’t leave her lips, her face brightens up and she feels very happy and relaxed. It was the same this time too, though she looked much more frail and disturbed and quiet when she came in. After the chat, we started Mai Tri Healing. Mohanji was already with us through the chat that we had started.

During the process, while I was at her Heart Chakra, I suddenly saw and felt her husband, sitting for healing (instead of aunty) and I am doing Healing to him. Exactly how he looked before, in his white shirt, smile on his radiant face. I felt the softness of his chest as if I am doing healing on his heart chakra! Then in few seconds, I heard Mr Patel asking Mohanji (who I see sitting next to Mr Patel in the sofa), “Mohanji please tell where is Dad now? Is he waiting for mom or has he taken a birth, how is he?” Mohanji replied, “It doesn’t matter where he is. He is always with your mother.”

romantic3

After hearing this, I moved on to other chakras and eventually healing process completed. When I opened my eyes, the vision, the words were still vivid. No ambiguity, no blurriness.

From all my Mai Tri Healing experiences so far, I know one thing for sure. When I surrender completely and offer myself as, and only as, the instrument of Mohanji’s energy to flow in, Mohanji’s presence then becomes inevitable. His divine energy and through His, the entire Guru Mandala’s energy flows in. During healing what I see or hear is all that He sees & hears or whatever He wants me & the receiver to see and hear! Nothing is ever imagination or illusion.

2014-07 - Mohanji - Kailash - Yatra (1840).JPG

This incident again proved this.

After I finished the process, I narrated this vision to Mr Patel. His mouth was wide open. He said to me, “While you were doing healing, sitting here on the sofa, I was directly looking at Mohanji’s photo and asked him, Mohanji, is dad still waiting for Mom? Will Mom go to him and be with him again?”

It was crystal clear that while Mr Patel was having his conversation with Mohanji, I was hearing that during the healing. Mohanji not only answered to him verbally, but also by showing me the vision of Uncle sitting for Healing, He showed that Uncle is still present with Aunty during the Heart chakra healing.

To see and understand this ultimate truth of Divine Existence of Mohanji is as easy when you get that visibility. It would be wonderful when everyone (hopefully one day!) will be able to see this truth.

We have to develop EYES while we can and while the master is available.

Like a little baby open his eyes slowly after taking birth, my eyes are opening slowly too. I also understand that from an ordinary stone lying somewhere in the ground, with Mohanji’s shine, I am converting into Crystal that can reflect the shine!

crystal.jpg

Shree Ram in Treta Yug had converted a rock into Rishi Devi Ahalya (who was lying there as a rock for many yugas), just by touching his feet on the rock. In this Kali Yuga, Mohanji is turning many more stones like me to light reflecting crystals! How amazing divine Leela!

ahalya.jpg

Experience during reading a Blog

Another of my dharma was a schedule discussion event happening soon for which I was going trough some of Mohanji’s blogs. Despite the lined of activities for the whole day, I was determined to read few blogs today. I picked up the Babaji series – 1, 2 & 3.

Throughout the day, I was reading the series one after another. Of course, in between, I had to get up to do chores. However, the consciousness stayed with the blogs. What I read, was playing on inside. We had a family get together in the evening, for which I sent my husband and kids earlier and planned to be with them around 9 pm, just before dinner. After they all left home and all chores finished, I sat down to read the third blog in the series. By the time I finished reading, I felt very different. It was not normal fatigue or anything. I just couldn’t even get up from the sofa. My head felt heavy and I felt feverish. I didn’t understand what was it. I just slowly lie down on the sofa itself, in front of Mohanji’s picture. This is our Healing sofa – meaning when people come for Mai Tri Healing, they lie down on the sofa. For the first time, I was lying down on this Healing sofa!

As soon as lied down, I was unconscious. I had no sense of time, or fact that I had to go somewhere! Suddenly I came to sense and saw the time was about 9 pm! Even though I came to senses and eyes are opened, I still had the feeling of BLISS intact. I didn’t want move or go anywhere and talk! So I just sent a message to my husband that I am not feeling well and won’t be able to join them, I straight went to bed and slept.

When I woke up the next morning, I realised what I went through last evening was probably a cleansing process that I went through with reading the blog. It was the power of Mohanji’s energy that permeated through His blog to me and the cleansing happened.

WOW! Just by reading the blogs, this happened.

While I was cleaning my home in preparation for Mohanji’s visit, He was cleansing me through His presence during Mai Tri Healing and through the Blogs reading.

I realised that ,

no blog is by accident. Everything is positively transformational. Everything has a positive purpose. Everything is real.

Let me tell you, after these cleansing effects and the experiences, I suddenly had so much of inner energy to continue with my triple, quadruple amount of chores that I am racing to finish before Mohanji arrives.

The waiting and preparation for Mohanji’s arrival has become such a joy! Mohanji is with me, while not physically being with me.

When he says, “I am with you. I am in you”, He really means!

I have realised the beautiful fact now that fill me with immense joy and Bliss. Eternal Bliss.

My gratitude for my Gurudev for giving me this Bliss and everything even beyond my expectation. Giving me a taste of what it means “Being Merged” with you, Para Brahma!

For ever at your feet. Koti Pranam and endless Love, My Guruji.

With Mohanji Skandavale

Faith that leads to Awareness

Experiences shared by Shaju Mangalam and Rajiv Duggal (India), Punam Kapoor (Canada) who lovingly share some of their cherished moments of deep connection with Mohanji.

divinity.jpg

Mohanji says “Faith happens, sooner or later. When ego subsides and gets nullified through consistent downfalls, faith happens. Faith leads. Faith soothes. Faith reinforces. Faith nurtures life. Faith elevates life. Faith stabilizes life. Faith liberates man. Faith increases with experiences. Faith decreases when we disown our own experiences, swapping then for another’s opinion or book knowledge. Faith increases when surrender becomes absolute.”

Shaju Mangalam from Bangalore, India

Shaju shares with us his experience of Mohanji’s love, the joy of being in His physical presence and a blessed connection to other Masters during a deep meditation.

Shaju

I would like to share a unique but life-changing experience I had a few days ago when I spent a night at Mohanji’s ashram in Bangalore. On 16th May, I had dinner at the ashram and conversed with Mohanji on various topics including Ammucare activities in India. Next morning, after finishing my sadhana (spiritual practice), I had the opportunity to have breakfast with Mohanji. His eyes sparkled as he looked at me fondly saying, “Daddu, have more dosa and upma, you eat well!” I was so humbled and became emotional as He was serving me the food Himself. My eyes filled with tears even as I wondered whether to smile or cry. It was pure love in abundance which made me feel this way. Before I left, Mohanji looked at me and said, “Daddu, come in the evening too. I am leaving tomorrow. Come!” I felt it was a blessing to be with Him again and to spend one more night at His altar!

The energy at the ashram was amazing, and I had never felt this anywhere! It was mesmerizing and so vibrant! The call of the Guru meant something. I said, “I will be there.” I rushed back after office to the ashram even though it was almost 30km away. I felt like I was going back to my home. I had a small satsang (spiritual discussion) with Mohanji and I could feel powerful energy again engulfing me. After dinner, Mohanji called me upstairs inviting me to watch television with Him and suggested that I sit next to Him! Sometime later, I went downstairs and sat talking to the others. Mohanji was in His room doing His work.

God_exists_quote

After a few minutes, I closed my eyes. I was in a state of deep trance. I could see Mahavatar Babaji and all the Masters near me and I could feel Babaji around throughout. The sight was magnificent and I had never felt or seen this before in my life! I don’t know how long I was in that state. Seeing me in that state of meditation, others in the room quietly moved out as they didn’t want to disturb me. Being in the presence of Babaji and all Masters of the lineage was the opportunity of a lifetime for me! I didn’t feel like opening my eyes. I didn’t want to come back to the normal state.

Babaji

I could see the blue light moving away as Babaji left. Babaji gave me two powerful messages. The first message was:

“Be silent and never react to any situations or events which are either positive or negative. It will just pass. But if you react, the extension of sufferings will prolong. Silence is the only way to live!”

The second one:

“Don’t take anything in life for granted. Nothing is acquired by you. It’s all given to you and nothing is accidental or coincidental.”

These two powerful messages struck me like lightning and after a few minutes, the environment in the room changed back to normal. I too came back to my normal state.

I realized that this powerful vision could happen only in the presence of Mohanji in the ashram. Every inch of this house, where Mohanji is residing, has become a power center and hence divine Masters are able to visit there.

I shared this experience with Mohanji the next morning and He said, “This is the way masters work. They may not come a second time and it’s your duty and responsibility along with firm determination to hear and apply the messages you received in your life.” I felt very humbled and didn’t have the words to say anything further.

Recently, when I went to the ashram, I  feel a strong presence of Lord Hanuman there. Yesterday, I was sitting at the corner of the room where Mohanji was having an informal satsang with some visitors and looking at his face from the corner of the room, I saw Lord Hanuman’s face clearly. His beard on sides looking grey and cheek expanded, There was no mistake in recognizing Hanuman. This was clearly not my illusion. As long as Mohanji was speaking, Hanuman’s face was clearly visible. With that vision, I closed my eyes and I felt the presence of Hanuman even more strongly.

Hanumanji.jpg

In that moment, I lost the feeling of my own body. After sometime, I went to the room upstairs to take some rest, still carrying the divine experience, and what did I see? An idol of Hanumanji in the room and a packet of sweets! As if Hanumanji himself was offering me prasad. I took a piece and tried to rest a bit. However, after the vision of Hanumanji in Mohanji’s face and the divine experience, my body was going through a different kind of energy surge. Even when I lay down, my body was rolling! This was the effect on me in the presence of my Guru Mohanji, in this powerful ashram, where my Guru Resides! Where He resides, the Divine resides, all Gods, all Gurus reside. The logical mind may discard this experience as an illusion, but in our Golden Path of Liberation, there is no logic, no doubt, no illusion. Only complete surrender.

I surrender to you my Lord, my Guru, Mohanji. Let your grace and blessing enlighten my life and everyone else who has the faith and surrender at your feet.

Jai Mohanji!

Experience shared by Punam Kapoor, Canada

Punam narrates how Mohanji’s presence was very much felt during a day at work and how faith helped overcome a complicated problem.

Punam_with Mohanji.jpg

Today, Mohanji was with me at work, helping me to not only meet my daily targets but also bringing my attention to a gap in one of the procedures which had a big impact on the workflow and volumes.  While working on a case, I suddenly felt that my fingers could not type anymore – my hands just stopped. I tried to sit up straight and tried to type again, but I could not. Then my thoughts vanished.  I looked at Mohanji. He had blessed one of His cards and given it to me while we were at the Machu Picchu retreat and I keep it beneath my computer monitor at work so that I can remember Him while working.

Mohanji seemed to say something. I asked Him, “Please tell me what is it.” Suddenly He gave me a vision; it was a sentence that came to my mind. I opened a blank email and quickly typed. Lo and behold! I read it and understood what He had guided me to do. The cursor automatically moved to where I had to start the message.

oneness_quote.png

It was Him typing. Because my hands were moving too fast and the keyboard was loud, people around me looked at me. However, I continued typing. Finally the message finished and I edited and sent it. It was a suggestion to either add new steps in the existing procedure or to create a new one.

After sending it, I talked to Mohanji and said “Mohanji, how can the change happen with just one case because the National Office will reject it saying it is only one case”. Immediately I received an email response from one of the subject matter experts (SME) explaining the details of the current procedure.  On the other side, one of my other colleagues, who was the reference person, passed by and just said,”The SME did not understand your point, go back to him.” She came and went like the wind. Things were happening so fast. I typed the response and sent it to the SME. I went to my next case file and, Oh my Lord, it had all the details that were required to support the suggestion that Mohanji gave me! All I had to do was copy and paste the details from there and send another email. In the next 10 minutes, the manager responded by saying, “Good catch, Punam. This suggestion will be forwarded to the National Office.”

Mohanji Gurudev, my koti koti pranaams to You for not only showing me the gap in the procedures but for also preparing the message and bringing up the very next case which was required as evidence to support the suggested change in procedures.

It was not me but Mohanji showing me the gap……

It was not me but Mohanji typing…

It was not me but Mohanji who brought up the evidence……

It is Mohanji…

It is Mohanji…..

Only Mohanji…….

Thank you for showing me that You are with me……always!

 Jai Mohanji!

Experience shared by Rajiv Duggal, Bangalore, India

Rajiv shares with us how Mohanji’s compassion and love made him feel protected and filled him with gratitude.

Mohanji_Hugging_Rajiv

I would like to share an experience, which reiterated my faith in the omnipresence of Father, as I call Mohanji lovingly, every minute in our life, protecting and guiding us with his unconditional love.

Having spent few days with Him at the the Bosnian Pyramids, a high-energy spiritual power centre, I was feeling blessed and energetic. I came back to India and soon got busy with my day-to-day life – the work and the associated stress. However, the moments of grace experienced in Mohanji’s presence in Bosnia had been protecting me like a strong shield. This is the shield of Mohanji’s energy field which is the unconditional love and compassion of a father for his son. The Shaktipat that I received from Mohanji at the powerful tunnel in Bosnian Pyramid, had taken out a lot of blockages and, in turn, filled me with positive energy, power and a stronger connection with my father, Mohanji.

shaktipath_Rajiv.jpg

However, yesterday was one of those bad days when I was feeling very low due to the many negative things happening at the same time. I was feeling a total lack of energy to perform my work. I was a bit disappointed with myself for being so depressed and the thought of Mohanji came to me immediately. I knew that with my thoughts, Mohanji would come to me. Suddenly, at that moment, I received a message from Mohanji asking about my health! Mohanji was in Europe thousands of miles away and in a different time zone! I was in tears. Those were tears of gratitude at the realization of the immense blessing in our life – having our Guru taking care of us at every moment, in every way possible, even if he is physically far away from us. Knowing my need for his presence physically, and not just in consciousness, he sent me the message. I took the signal and  immediately called and spoke with him. It was such a transformational talk between the most loving father and his son.

keep_your_faith_quote

During the talk, I found out that He had actually taken a bath in the afternoon! He had already had his bath early morning as usual. However, he bathed again in the afternoon to ward off my negativity and cool me down. He was taking on my negativities and, in turn, giving me the positive energy I needed. And as I required physical communication to energize me, He even talked to me.

I bow down in humility before the Supreme Master, His unconditional love and protection is with all of us always. He knows exactly when and how we need Him, and He does his job without fail.

I can only attribute the immense grace and blessing in this life to a huge spiritual bank balance of sadhana that I must have carried forward from previous lives! My deepest gratitude to this great soul, the ever-loving, ever compassionate Father of All.

Jai Mohanji!

Time and again Mohanji shows us that when one has love and faith in the Guru, His grace keeps us protected. When we stay connected to the Guru, He takes care of everything!

Being With Mohanji – The Transformation

By Ruby Nair, USA

Mohanji_the Teacher.JPG
Guru Comes to You At The Right Time

“Teachers happen when the student is ready. And the teacher is always in relation with the student. When a student happens, a teacher happens. Teacher is a state just like student is a state. The teacher or the student are never permanent in their roles. A teacher can be a father, a husband, a lover, a pedestrian, a shopper, a barber, a cook or any other role a human being may play in his or her lifetime. The right knowledge will come to you at the right time, through a person, a book or a life experience. This is the truth of existence.”

Below, I share, from the heart, how my life changed from a mundane existence to one of joy, peace, gratitude and selfless actions through the appearance of a Guru at a time of need in answer to a prayer.
What have I gained by being with Mohanji is a vast subject that can’t be put down into mere words. I contemplated on this matter for a couple of days and as I sat with my husband talking about certain things, I ended up discussing with him all that I have gained by being with Mohanji. It was so simple yet complicated.

Mohanji_simple
Simple Yet Complicated!

My life before Mohanji was very uncertain on many levels. From my childhood, I had been one of the weird kids who always felt different and shy inside. On some levels, I can say that I had lived a turbulent childhood which continued into most of my early adult life. First, it was distant family problems. Then as I grew older, I realized that I never fit in with a lot of groups because I was never really interested in what they talked about. I was a party goer for most of my late teens and thought life was just about partying and spending money.
After getting married and visiting Kerala for the first time in 2004, I had such a profound experience at the Guruvayurappan Krishna temple, which brought tears and intense love to my heart, that shook me. That’s when I realized that there was something tangible in these temples. So I became obsessed with visiting temples and praying – just thanking God for everything.
However, marriage also brought a sense of responsibility towards fixing my family matters. My husband and I took it upon ourselves to visit different temples, perform countless pujas, prayers in my name or their names to uplift them and myself from all the troubles and ignorance. There was this compulsion in me that kept me going for years and I can recall most of our married life was spent on fixing other people – my family, etc. I felt burdened at times and cried out numerous times to God to please end this suffering of mine as there was no end to my turbulent life. Things did improve in my life but I never felt contented and always felt like there was something more to do.
Since I had filled my life with trying to help others while ignoring my own pain, I never knew how to deal with things when they got difficult as there was no anchor in my life to tell me it will be okay in the end. My husband was always there no matter what, but I was looking for something higher to connect to. I felt abused, disrespected and unloved on many occasions by many people in my life. I was a machine living for others and trying to make them happy while I was unhappy on many levels.
The above describes my life after my marriage basically from 2003 to 2012 – in pain, in depression at times, feeling lonely, betrayed, etc. After 2012, my life changed drastically again after visiting a Shiva Temple in Kauai, Hawaii, where I truly believed there were Gods, angels and higher beings alive among us, helping and guiding us. It brought a lot of change in my life which cultivated patience and faith. I gave up certain dietary things as well as alcohol, which I took on special occasions and learned could be a hindrance to one’s spiritual path. I became aware that one’s purification and penance was very important in finding God. To better myself, I started fasting, serving family by cooking food for them, ignoring their cold remarks, and learning how to restrain myself.
During this time, I also read the book “Autobiography of Yogi” by Paramahansa Yogananda. This book helped me realize the importance of a Guru and how having love for Him transcends any physical or conditional love that I was used to. This drove me to seek and question if there was a Guru for me as well in this life. I installed Mahavatar Babaji’s picture in my temple even though it felt kind of strange because I had grown up with the idea that we only install and pray to idols of deities and not to a human beings. Even though I knew Babaji was beyond human definitions, it was just something that was hard for me to do.
From 2012 to 2015, I did meditations on my own where I would just force myself to sit and contemplate on Babaji or just nothing. I prayed to God to send me a Guru. After hearing from somewhere that when one pours water on a Shiva lingam and asks with a pure heart, God surely brings that into our life. Without being aware, Mohanji came into my life slowly, but my ignorance was too deep to even recognize Him. In 2015 I found Mohanji’s blog through the grace of Babaji and I was able to meet Him physically in 2016. Meeting Him was also very turbulent for me due to my own negative self. I had to shed a lot to see His divinity. This was the first gift He gave me – the ability to connect to Him despite the darkness surrounding me, while dissolving my ignorance so that I could see Him in a different light and purity.

MOhanji_ruby nair1.png
Light & Purity with Mohanji

During one of my trips with Mohanji, He casually mentioned that having my second daughter accelerated my path to meeting Him, but I was destined to meet Him anyway, probably later in time. Many are His subtle ways that I can’t even begin to describe them.
The big question is what has been so different after meeting Him. Well, all my compulsions to fix things, others, or situations have gone. I no longer feel that I am in any control to fix anyone let alone help them, unless they themselves are seeking guidance. If I do happen to help someone, I have realized that it is not me but the energy of God working through me to help that person, so the ownership or doership has gone. I have also been initiated to Mai-Tri healing, so I can serve others selflessly and bring Mohanji’s healing to others.
I feel protected for the first time in my life. Not that I didn’t feel protected before, but this is where I know if I am in trouble or something is bothering me, He will be there no matter the time or space. It’s very comforting to know someone is always with me, guiding me no matter what.
I have also become stronger in myself and have more faith in myself and my abilities. I no longer wish to get gratification from others or listen to others. I know I am self-sufficient and I am perfect the way I am, despite being laughed at numerous times throughout my life. It is knowing that all of us are different, unique and loved by the Divine just as we are. Even though lack of acceptance is still there on minute levels, it is now a work in progress.
Another great thing I have gained from being with Mohanji is His global family. I just love meeting different people from all over the world and connecting with them instantly. It is like they are my real family at times and it brings me so much joy just to share love and stories with them. It’s a connection on a different level that I never experienced outside of His family.

MOhanji_ruby nair Kailash.png
Connection at a different Level – Kailash Trip

Mohanji has also brought forth more awareness to the suffering of animals. Due to this I have been vegan for a year and have never been so happy to realize that I had the strength to give up on desires that are so hard to give up in one’s life. Now, it’s a lifestyle of Ahimsa which was just a thought before meeting Him. This decision has helped me to avoid feeling the guilt of consuming something that was snatched from another being. Because if the roles were reversed, I would not want the same thing inflicted on my loved ones.
So far, the most important thing I feel I have gained is that Mohanji anchors me in the present. I no longer look elsewhere; He has given me something strong and tangible to hold on to. This feeling was what I was looking for all my life until I met Him. I realized that if this anchor had been available to me earlier, I would have been less turbulent within myself and more stable. He has given me stability that I thought I would never achieve in this life. I have cried to God when I couldn’t handle things and have asked Him to end my life, but now I don’t have such thoughts. I feel happy, loved, accepted and grateful to have this human birth where I have been given this much awareness. Simply put, Mohanji helped me become a better me, someone I love.

Love and Acceptance From My Guru – Machu Picchu

This was my humble attempt to pen down my most intimate thoughts. I feel privileged to even be on this path and to be able to express my gratitude to Mohanji. Without Him, I probably wouldn’t even have the strength to face, accept and write all these things. Thank you Father for everything and coming into my life.
With deep gratitude and love,
Ruby Nair, USA

Conscious Walking™ – a powerful dynamic meditation technique by Raja Yogi Mohanji

On June 21st 2015, for the first time in history, the world was observing International Yoga Day. It was declared by the UN General Assembly and suggested by the Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi to be on June 21st as it is the longest day of the year (Summer Solstice) in the Northern Hemisphere. From Yoga perspective, Summer Solstice marks the transition to Dakshinayana which is considered a time when the Nature is most supportive for doing Spiritual practices. Also, the first full moon after Sumer Solstice is known as Guru Poornima, a day when Lord Shiva (Adi Guru) is said to have started imparting the knowledge of Yoga to the world.

In order to commemorate this occasion worldwide, Raja Yogi Mohanji’s followers assembled across the globe to practice the powerful dynamic meditation technique called The Conscious Walking. Conscious Walking is a newly created technique by Raja Yogi Mohanji. This simple yet very transformative technique is free of charge, and has multiple benefits:

– It is good for health, metabolism, digestion, circulation and Life,
– It helps self control,
– It reduces anxieties, anger, insecurities and fears,
– It increases concentration.
– It increases togetherness and oneness.
What follows are some of the accounts of Mohanji’s followers regarding the Conscious Walking events that took place across the many cities through the world.

Conscious Walking in Mumbai

“Meditative walk in the lungs of Mumbai — we conducted Conscious Walk in Aarey this morning. 13 people joined us and enjoyed a refreshing meditative walk in a nature park in the middle of Mumbai metropole. The monsoon graced us with a gentle break, rain stopped exactly for the entire period of our walk and allowed us to breath in fresh air while fully going within.”

Conscious Walking in Pune

“Our first Conscious Walking in Pune was an interesting and new experience for many. Although it was raining heavily and we couldn’t go out in nature, we carried on with our walk indoors. Some could practice very well, some wanted to practise it regularly to get the hang of it. People who have learned the technique found it useful as a daily tool to practice everyday. A nice start on the International World Yoga Day.”

Conscious Walking in Delhi

As the world celebrated the 1st Yoga Day, about 50 souls stepped out early morning to do the first Conscious Walk with Grace of Shri Rajyogi Mohanji. The Conscious Walk was organised at three locations in Delhi and its suburb Gurgaon. Some of the locations also did chanting, humming and breathing exercise before doing the Conscious Walk. People at Nizamuddin location also did yoga after the Conscious Walk. Every person who took part felt the immediate meditative calm after doing the Conscious Walk as this was completely different from morning walks while chatting with friends. In fact, some of the people have already got hooked on this and want to do Conscious Walk every day!

Conscious Walking in Dubai

At 7 o’clock, we gathered at Zabeel Park, Dubai for our first conscious walk in UAE. After a brief about the conscious walk, which is designed by our beloved Mohanji for the betterment of the world, we started with deep breathing to calm ourselves from the day’s hectic activities. Then, we rotated our neck clockwise and anticlockwise three times, to relax our neck and shoulders. Afterwards, we started our walk.

It was almost 40 degrees outside and over 50% humidity. But, once we started walking, we didn’t realize anything. We all had Mohanji filled within us. After around 20 minutes walking, we all shared our experiences. Rajeev said he constantly heard Mohanji’s voice, saying, “Concentrate on your spine”! Iliana said she felt a real calmness beaming out from within. Goolcher felt as if she was getting aligned, both bodily and mentally. Jay was walking quietly and slowly, enjoying the bliss!

Thank you, Mohanji, for this wonderful gift!

Conscious Walking in Novi Sad

“CONSCIOUS WALK on the first summer day – After the cold and windy sunrise we had a really chilly morning for the last day of spring. The energy flow was high both from the fresh air and because there is no distraction on secondary things, all attention is on the inside and breathing. Mind is cleansed and energy spared and accumulated. After meditative conscious walk, feeling we spontaneously wished to meditate so we ended the conscious walk with a short meditation.”

Conscious Walking in Skopje

Today in the City park in Skopje, we practiced the technique for dynamic meditation “Conscious Walking” developed by Mohanji. Though the heavily rainy day wanted to dishearten us from practicing, the rain stopped right on start off time so we could consciously walk for half an hour. In the end we practiced the powerful technique “Inverted Pyramid” which was a full jackpot since each one of the present reported experiencing Oneness and Expanded Consciousness.”
