Kalpataru Series – A sign from the Masters

blessing

By Anonymous, Canada

Namaskara to the Mohanji community.

While I have not had the opportunity of meeting Sri Mohanji in person, I learned about him through others. As a result, I started to read his blogs, others’ blogs about their experiences and have watched several videos of his talks.

saibaba

I became a Sai Baba devotee in my youth and feel that he sent my Guru to me. My Guru is no longer in the physical body but is very dear to me. He taught us the importance of love and respect for all spiritual paths. Thus, it felt natural for me to get to know Mohanji. He reminds me of a loving elder brother or cousin who gives you chocolate whenever he sees you! My beloved Guru and Mohanji essentially state that we should follow one path to reach the goal. It’s beautiful and reinforces my commitment to my Guru’s teachings.

When I learned about the Guru Raksha Homa, I asked a Mohanji devotee about it and she said it is powerful. I signed up for it and left it to God and Gurus to determine what could be done.

While I am unable to provide ‘concrete proof points’ as the intellectuals would like, the experiences below are, in my opinion, the grace of Mohanji and the realized Masters. They continue to stoke the flame of my faith and keep me going so that I one day can behold the divine goal. I hope you find this helpful as you continue on your spiritual journey.

The first homa was performed on Oct 25, 2019. I do not recall any extraordinary physical sensations either before or thereafter, but what did occur was protection from fire.

That weekend after the homa, I was in the vicinity of a wildfire and thankfully, was out of harm’s way. I also had two minor burns on my hands that could’ve been a lot worse. They have healed with limited scarring. I recall that Lord Dattatreya and His incarnations (Sri Pada Sri Vallabha and Narasimha Saraswati in particular) can work on karma in unusual ways.

The experience from Dec 26, 2019 homa was more pronounced and interestingly, I was unaware that it was taking place until after. A couple of days before the homa, I was having throbbing sensations in my heart chakra region. It felt more intense on the 26th itself. Concerned, I went to the doctor and was put through a barrage of tests, all of which came out negative. Then, that night, I had an intense anxiety attack and barely slept. I had to listen to videos of my Guru and Mohanji to get some sleep. I had fears of disease and death and was ashamed that I went to the doctor. I was crying profusely throughout the day and night. I have had a lifetime of dealing with anxiety, so such feelings were not unusual for me. But this one seemed to hit me with a vengeance. I was crying to my Guru and Sri Pada to help me as I am their child and had nowhere to go. I wanted to be done with the cycle of samsara. I longed to be free of sorrow and have a Guru in my heart. I do not wish anxiety upon anyone. It is painful and can take you into an abyss of mental agony. I wondered what I had done in my previous births to deal with this.

The next day, I was depleted and had an ‘anxiety hangover.’ After taking care of some work, I visited a very spiritual friend and she welcomed me with a hug and a delicious dinner. She shared some exercises she has been doing on energy medicine. I felt better but was still crying intermittently. I prayed with a tearful heart to Sri Pada to please give me a sign that he is with me. Intellectually I know he is with me in a subtle form as I chant his holy name and read his biography, but I needed something more.

A couple of days later, for some reason, I decided to text Alpaji about prasad from the October homa. She mentioned to me that there is no prasad for this type of homa. Then I learned from her that the second homa occurred on the 26th! It then struck me that this was the sign I was asking for and it explained why I was feeling so intense before. My wish to have a sign from the Masters had been granted. I was so elated and grateful to Mohanji, my Guru, Lord Datta Prabhu and all the realized Masters. Please continue to protect me and my family. I bow to them with humility.

Jai Guru!

Protection during the cyclone

mohanji2

By Preeti Yadav, India

The year 2020 would be remembered as historical due to the coronavirus pandemic. Here in West Bengal, we faced another calamity The Super Cyclone – Amphan.

As per the Indian Meteorological Department, Amphan was to touch Kolkata at 5 pm and gradually head towards Bangladesh.

I am an Army officer’s wife and my husband commands a battalion of more than 600 soldiers. 200 soldiers stay with their families. It’s a huge responsibility as they are all under our umbrella. There are three other units too, but ours is with maximum strength at the moment. I prayed to Mohanji to protect all of us from the coronavirus and the fury of the cyclone. (I’m grateful to HIM for strengthening my faith as we had no coronavirus cases in the battalion)

It was 19th afternoon when I got a call from Deepali Bais (Mohanji Family) regarding a few precautions to be taken during the cyclone as she has witnessed a similar one in the past. Her suggestions were really helpful and we took all the necessary steps keeping the expected effects in mind. But still, there was so much of fear that I felt uneasy as the time approached. I am generally calm in difficult situations as I need to be with so many people under our care. But today, I was nervous and anxious after seeing the news. I was surprised by my restlessness. However we were all prepared from our end, but fear and uncertainty were looming large. We recently had a few new-born babies in the soldiers’ families (one day to one week old). So everyone’s safety was a matter of concern.

fear

It was at this time that I thought of Mohanji and decided to text him about the cyclone. I first complimented Amma’s and his pictures in the kitchen shared by George. They were really so cute. And he immediately asked, “How are you?” I replied, “Mohanji, we are waiting for the cyclone to come and go.” He said, “Be confident, nothing to worry, let me know if there are any difficulties.” His next question was of concern, “Do you have sufficient food?” (Just like a parent). I replied, “Yes Mohanji, we have sufficient food stocked. “He said, “Keep me in mind, I shall be there, stay calm.”

We all know that he’s always with us, taking care of us, but we still need confirmation at times. He said exactly what I wished to hear from him at that particular time. In chapter 30 of the Sai Satcharitra, it is said, “Sai knows fully the desire of his devotees and fulfils the same. Hence they get what they want and are grateful. So we invoke him and prostrate ourselves before him. Forgetting all our faults, let him free us from all anxieties. When he who is being overcome with calamities remembers and prays to Sai thus, will get his mind calmed and pacified through his grace.”

Mohanji Sai

All this conversation happened in the late morning of May 20th 2020. These words from Mohanji were really relieving. Since the morning, I was just remembering Sai Baba and Mohanji and was continuously praying for everyone to be safe.

Around 4 pm, amidst all the anxiety and fear, I fell asleep, completely unaware of the wind and the rain which were getting stronger and violent. I woke up at 5:30 pm, all relaxed and calm, feeling much better. I updated Mohanji again (as he had asked me to keep him informed) that the cyclone would reach our area at 7 pm. He said, “I shall be there, need not worry, I’m looking after.” What more could I wish to hear at that time? It was like Sai giving the assurance. I enjoyed my evening cup of coffee and lit the diya in my altar praying for everyone’s well-being. We spoke to our parents who were concerned after watching the news and assured them that we were safe. They were all really scared of watching the news and seeing the devastation caused all around the area.

The cyclone came, venting all its fury; trees were uprooted, electric poles broke, many houses got flooded. The sound of the wind was eerie but we were all at home, safe and relaxed. Soon there was a lull and we could just hear a heavy downpour of rain. We had our dinner and slept. When everyone else was panicking, we felt safe in his arms.

Before sleeping, I kept Mohanji’s card under my pillow. And believe me, after ages, I slept soundly. I woke up at 4 am (I’m an EBC member) and did my morning routine, luckily there was a little hot water left in the geyser with which I took a bath. I started reading my allotted chapters from the Sai Satcharitra (We do mahaparayan every Thursday).

The chapters allotted to me were 31 & 32. I would request you to read these chapters. A realization happened while reading and I share here a part of what I read. From chapter 31… “The devotees surrender themselves completely to the Saints, with the firm belief that the omniscient Saints will guide and help them in their last moments. He who does this and surrenders himself to the feet of Hari (Lord) will get free from all troubles and attain bliss. The Lord runs and helps him who remembers and meditates on Him with love and affection.” Reading this in the morning, I recollected the moments I was remembering Sai and Mohanji. It was Guru’s grace which made me remember him during my moments of troubles.

mind

Our human mind doesn’t accept things easily. We give reasons or call something a coincidence all because of our ego. We feel we are self-sufficient; that we don’t need anybody’s help. But faith and surrender takes us safely through even the toughest storms of life. When the cyclone was approaching, went to its peak, and decreased in intensity, everyone was in a state of panic, but we were enjoying a nap, coffee, chatting, and had a full meal together, feeling peaceful and protected in the Guru’s arms.

A lot of damage happened in the cantonment. Trees were uprooted, roads were blocked, water entered many houses, and even a tree fell and entered straight through the ceiling. But no one got a single scratch. Trust me, not a single scratch.

In the morning, Mohanji texted me to enquire about our well-being, and he said, “How are you all and your neighbourhood? I have been working the whole time.” On thanking him for all his grace, he said, “It’s my duty, and responsibility to take care of my people.”

This beautiful leela leaves me speechless. May his grace be on all of us. Immense gratitude to Mohanji, our Super Hero!

Transforming through love

Inspired by Mohanji, Rowena from the Philippines shares her experiences of some of the service activities she’s carrying out with her team members, bringing love, friendship, and happiness to many children in her community.

By Rowena Conlu, Philippines

Being able to know and meet these little angels allowed me to witness God’s transforming power of love!

danica5

Our meditation group found Danica, a 12-year-old girl who is affected by cerebral palsy and meningitis, living in the coastal area of Cogon. She is the third in a family of eight children. Her mother died of a heart ailment in 2017. The father is a fisherman. When the group found her, she was skin and bones, dying of malnutrition. Darry, the father was lost in despair because of the death of his wife. Immediately, the group supported her family with food supplies for three of the younger children. Danica was on a liquid diet, so we got her a blender. Being a widow myself, I felt in my heart the hardship a single parent goes through, mentally and emotionally. I also connected Danica to a doctor friend who kindly committed to checking up on her every week, and supplied her with vitamins as well. We also supported the father by giving him work in our hotel as a groundsman.

I was new to the Mohanji family at the time I met Danica, and I was doing some seva activities in a few places where possible. In 2019, I also started a kids/teen yoga and meditation programme. It was my dream to share this consciousness to the kids, for them to have a better life in the future. So being in contact with Danica’s family, I asked Darlyn her younger sister, to ask her friends if they would like to learn yoga.

yoga6

This became the first group of Mohanji teens/kids. Danica’s siblings and some of her friends joined the yoga sessions. At that time, I started practising Mohanji’s teachings about non-doership, living a life of surrender to God, selflessness, love, kindness, and compassion. I believe this is the perfect example of the transforming power of love. Danica thrives not only with good nutrition but by the love, support, and hope that was given to her family. We are all a part of the pure universal energy and that is what Danica feels when we are around her.

The group of 10 kids I started with has now grown to 35. The numbers increase every week, and we are serving two areas here in Roxas City. Children from the coastal areas and also from the main city join us for our sessions regularly. It gives me a lot of joy to be able to help so many people in my community.

Mohanji teens/ kids

‘Meditation Garden’ is what we call our group. We are a group of meditation students using Mohanji’s guided meditations that we found online. It’s been almost two years since we started feeding those who needed support and introducing yoga and meditation in almost all areas here in our province. Once I asked myself, “How are these activities going to be effective to people if we do not go back and encourage them to do the sessions regularly?”

It was February 2019 when a thought came to mind, ‘What if I gather the kids here in my place every week and teach them yoga and meditation, and give them vegetarian snacks?’

So I sent Darlyn a message, she is Danica’s sister, the person with a disability our group was looking after, near a coastal area. One Sunday, Darlyn gathered her friends and siblings and attended my first yoga and meditation session. We did some light yoga stretching, breathing techniques, and a short silence as an introduction and had healthy snacks afterwards. Then, I asked them to write down their experiences in a journal so that I could monitor their progress.

Then the next week, another 5 kids from the same area joined us to do the same activities. On the third week, Mataji invited five kids from another underprivileged area in the city, and every week the numbers are increasing. At the start, I thought the children were coming because they like the food since most of them are from poor families. But there are days when they hardly finish the food. And as I observe them, what I realised was, what they love in our meetings where the hugs, the conversations, and the games we play with them, because the parents hardly have time with their kids, so they feel unloved.

It’s been a year already, and now these kids have developed mindfulness through yoga; their behaviour has changed for the better. Even the ways they dress has changed, they are always clean and smell good, and are ready to learn new things. They have learnt to share with the other kids as well as we take them for our seva activities in different communities. Now we are introducing them slowly to chakras, some of Mohanji’s teachings like ahimsa, selflessness, etc. They love wearing their Mohanji t-shirts and wish to meet Mohanji in person. I gave each child a framed picture of Mohanji as a gift and shared with them that they can always talk to him because he is like a Father to them. He is someone who loves them, cares for them, and only wants the best for them. Now, even some of the mothers are joining the kids every Sunday for our sessions.

yoga4

I am very grateful for the beautiful opportunities to help these children and their families. It’s wonderful to see how love can transform so many lives.

Being fearless

mohanji1

By Shyama Jeyaseelan, UK

It is the second week of May. The UK is finally seeing a decline in the spreading of the Covid-19 virus. Lockdown measures are slightly relaxed, although restrictions for travel, school, shopping, socialising and for the elderly, as in many other areas still continue. After the loss of thousands of lives and devastation to so many families, we are hoping that life will return to relative normalcy soon.

The UK is one of the countries to be severely affected during the pandemic. During the peak time in April, nearly a thousand lives were being lost every day. Fighting this invisible force was a huge challenge for the country as it was for the rest of the world.

During this time, we all faced many other challenges too. Many people lost their livelihood. No jobs meant little or no income to support our families. While many people were asked to work from home, front line workers had to continue to go to work, potentially risking their lives daily. The National Health Service (NHS) was struggling to support its staff with adequate personal protective equipment (PPE). Many NHS staff members fell ill, and sadly many lives were also lost.

Despite all these challenges, the human spirit survived. We saw so many charities and organisations coming forward to support and help the NHS, to help the elderly and the vulnerable, to support those people who had lost their jobs. Mohanji ACT Foundation team also came forward to help wherever possible with many acts of kindness.

With generous donations from the Mohanji UK family, food donations were made to local NHS hospitals to help the staff. This meant that many of them did not need to face a long shopping queue at the end of a long and stressful working day. Food donations were made to food-banks where those without jobs come and receive supplies to help them with their daily essentials.

While work places brought many changes to most people, as an NHS worker, my work continued as normal. It also meant that social distancing was not possible, I had to make physical contact with patients as before. There was no PPE for regular ultrasound scan sessions, only when coming in contact with confirmed Covid-19 patients. During the first few weeks we did not even have masks to wear.

ACT4

We have all learnt that life will always bring challenges, some harder than others, but when Guru’s grace and protection is present, we are immune to the shocks of daily life. This is something I have seen in so many ways within this short time.

During our Acharya training, I remember Mohanji saying many times,

“The Tradition is with you. Be fearless. Be compassionate and loving. Serve the society.”

This reassurance and guidance was definitely in need at this time of crisis. With Mohanji’s grace, there was no fear of the disease in me, whether it was at work or during service activities. Any of my patients could be carriers of the virus or might be in the incubation period of developing the illness. Never once did Mohanji allow a drop of fear to come in my thoughts. When people ask if it’s stressful going to work, the answer was a truthful, and cheerful, “No, I’m ok.” Fear, worry or anxiety would have definitely reduced my immune system and made be vulnerable to falling ill, and Mohanji made sure I felt stable within. It was also really nice to share that stability and positive attitude with my colleagues; it helped us all to have a relatively normal work environment.

fear

All the Acharyas and other Mohanji Foundation volunteers were doing online programmes as inspired by Mohanji. My resistance to learning to use new technology, fear of facing a live camera, and all other feelings of insecurities melted away as we all realised the importance of doing these online activities. Reaching out to as many people as possible with love and bringing positivity at a time when so many people were facing various fears was paramount.

Amongst the various programmes, we were also chanting the Gayatri mantra and the Maha Mrithyunjaya mantra every day intending to bring love, light and positive energy to Mother Earth and all her beings. This was benefitting us immensely too. The energy and the vibrations of the chanting were definitely energising and rejuvenating, increasing our immunity. When I received unusually high numbers of requests for distant Mai-Tri sessions, I realised the amount of healing Mohanji was giving me also. How beautifully he takes care of us, whether we realise it or not.

Many of the ACT volunteers were not able to physically help with the food donations due to various reasons. This meant that I was able to help often, and it was truly a privilege to have the opportunity to help the NHS staff, the Covid hub staff and the homeless shelters by distributing essential food supplies. It was a heart touching moment to see the happy faces of the doctors when a volunteer took ice-cream bars to a local accident and emergency department. Mohanji has given us this amazing platform, to help and make a difference in our local communities, to make a positive contribution and it’s truly wonderful to be a part of it.

fearless quote 2

Mohanji has said this period in confinement is a time for contemplation and reflection. Nature has given us time to slow down and to reassess what is truly important in our lives. It has been a time for me to appreciate my time with the family. With universities and schools closed, my children are home and it’s wonderful to be together, to tease them, to laugh and enjoy their company. It’s great to play with our cats in the garden. We have been blessed with warm weather on most days and it has given me the time to sit in the garden and enjoy nature, to connect with the elements. This is something I have not done in years.

Social media has brought the global family to our homes. Friends and relatives, whom I have not spoken to or made contact with in many months, have been in touch. It has been a time to reconnect and to ensure the well-being of our dear ones. Even my parents who are in their 80s face time us to see the cats!

I’m truly grateful for the many moments of grace that has been possible only because of Mohanji. Thank you Mohanji for your presence in our lives, and for giving us the guidance and the platforms to serve the society with love, compassion, and kindness. Thank you for inspiring us with your words and actions to serve selflessly and fearlessly.

A shelter in Arunachala

By Pravin Thakkar, UK

I would like to share this story of gratitude to Mohanji. This is very special for me too, as this event was possible only with Mohanji’s grace, and his help is for the karmic benefit of me and my family.

Let me tell you the story.

In 2018 August, Mohanji visited us in London. At that time, my wife and I had a deep desire to visit the Arunachala temple with Mohanji. We expressed this desire to Mohanji. He guided me to talk to the team who plan Mohanji’s programmes. After some discussion, I found out that there was no visit possible in the near future.

In October 2018, we were attending the pilgrimage to Badrinath with Mohanji. There were heavy rains and flooding in different parts of India. Some of Mohanji’s programmes were cancelled due to this and the team was able to plan a pilgrimage to Arunachala with Mohanji at short notice.

mohanji with dog

We were still in India at that time. When we heard this visit being planned, I realised that it was Mohanji’s divine plan, he was fulfilling our wish to visit Arunachala with him! This was a clear indication that when a wish comes from heart, Guru always fulfils it. We were so grateful to Mohanjifor fulfilling our wish and we were soon in Arunachala with Mohanji.

What happened in Arunachala was something that is beyond just fulfilling a simple desire!

While we were in Arunachala, I noticed a few old sadhus, very sick and looking really like beggars. I wanted to help them but due to certain restrictions, I wasn’t allowed to do so. I was so sad in my heart. I couldn’t sleep the whole night thinking about those sadhus. The next morning, I conveyed my wish to Mohanji about how we could help such old, sick, and helpless sadhus.

Mohanji is so compassionate. He immediately arranged a visit to a small place where we saw someone had created a temporary shelter for about 70 sadhus who were very old, sick, and helpless. Mohanji immediately advised the Ammucare team to start regular health check-up, and food and medicine donations to this shelter. While we were at that place, Mohanji told me that this was a temporary place and due to some issues, this shelter was to be closed soon and the sadhus would be on the road!

Hearing that, my heart cried. I felt an inner calling to do something permanent for these sadhus. I expressed my intention to Mohanji immediately. Once again, Mohanji responded quickly. He advised the Mohanji Foundation CEO to look into this matter to see if some land could be acquired and a shelter built.

I was in a dream, I thought. Within months, everything was falling into place. The land was found, donations were collected. Of course, nothing happens without hurdles. Those hurdles were just tests for us to check our conviction and the depth of our intention.

So in the end, in October 2019, exactly a year later, the land in Arunachala was purchased and inaugurated by Mohanji. It was clearly a divine blessing as without any prior planning, we had two eminent Masters also attending this function!

In all these events, I was only a small instrument. My wish to serve the sadhus must be a desire from past lives, and Mohanji made sure all that was fulfilled! With this, I know that a huge karma of mine and maybe even that of my lineage has been completed!

I am so thankful to my Guru Mohanji to have fulfilled my desires and for helping me to accomplish my karmic agenda in such a compassionate way – from that first visit to Arunachala to the land acquisition for the home for seniors! May this place give peace, love, and shelter to the sadhus of Arunachala.

Thank you Mohanji from the depth of my heart, thank you.

Kalpataru Series – Shaktipat, a wish fulfilled

Shakitpat

By Prajakta Sonawane, India.

I work as a preschool teacher. I wish to share an experience which is still so surprising for me, but at the same time, I feel blessed by the grace of my Guru Sai Baba.

About 4-5 months ago, I came across a channel named ‘Sai Baba’s Devotee Speaks’ where Sai Baba’s experiences are shared by his devotees. I happened to watch the videos almost daily and one day I came across Mohanji’s videos. I was quite happy and kept watching them again and again.

One fine day, I thought of getting connected to Mohanji through some source, a website, or through an email. During this time, I got to know many programs that are run by Mohanji Foundation and it started getting me more into knowing Mohanji and his programs. I came in contact with Padmaja ji whom I pay gratitude for bringing me closer to Mohanji’s teachings. She helped and guided me over a phone call. She also forwarded me Kirti Khandelwal’s number who happens to be from the same place where I presently reside.

Kirti ji always cleared my doubts and helped me move forward with positivity. She forwarded me the links where I got to know about Mohanji’s official page, and many more informative articles. I remember reading a post about a person who shared her experiences which was quite motivating for new people like me. I also read that we don’t have to be physically present in front of Mohanji, we just have to think from our hearts and he listens to us. For me, it was like an experiment that I thought I will try for myself. As humans, we always keep looking for validations and I was no exception.

Mohanji Sai

That day, after reading the article, I just closed my eyes and said, “Mohanji, I don’t know what I need, I just want to know that I am looked after and I wish to receive your blessings. Also, I would like to receive Shaktipat from you. I don’t know if I can meet you personally ever, but I really wish to have your hand on my head.” That was it. I opened my eyes and became busy with my daily chores, school, and family. As usual, I would talk to Sai Baba daily, thanking him, and kept reading the Sai Satcharita.

One night Kirti ji forwarded me a link which mentioned Devi Mohan will be going live on social media and Kirti ji asked me to join the live session. On that same day, I was having a general conversation with Sai Baba; I was sharing my worries with him as I was a little disturbed and feeling low. I thought I wouldn’t be able to join the session as my 5-year-old child kept playing around and it was enough to break my concentration. So, I was wondering if I should join or not as I did not want to leave the session halfway or get distracted during it. Something triggered in me and I decided to give it a try. Before the session started, I prayed to Baba and Mohanji and asked them to help me join the session and complete it without any disturbances.

The session started, and I was still having lots of unwanted thoughts and the fear that my child would start disturbing me soon. To my surprise, the time passed and I was able to be present for the complete session of 35-40 minutes. During the session, my eyes were closed and I was just following the instructions given. A point came where I saw myself very tiny and in front of me was Mohanji, appearing immense. He was bending down slightly with his hand touching my head and thumb on my forehead. All I could see was Mohanji’s smiling face and shining white light surrounding us. It lasted for some time. That experience was simply amazing, and I just felt so very positive and happy.

After I shared my experience with Kirti ji, I came to know that I was blessed by Mohanji and he had given me Shaktipat. Since that day, I am still in that phase where I keep recollecting the same image that I saw during the live session and just feel happy. Later on, I remembered my wish that I had made some months back and realised that it’s been beautifully fulfilled.

I am very grateful to Sai Baba, Mohanji, and all the people who were a part of this whole experience. I have no words to express my gratitude. I feel very blessed.

When we lose ourselves for the sake of love

devotion

By Sandra Sankar, South Africa

What is bhakti? The answer to this question touches a chord deep within. When we lose ourselves for the sake of love, that is bhakti bhaav. The spontaneous flow of bhakti is like the waves of a haunting whale-song reaching out through the unfathomable dimensions of time to touch the chords of one’s soul. Mohanji’s love for us is like that. Unconditional. He sees neither race nor colour nor ethnicity. Just the glorious brilliance of our magnificent souls. Unblemished. Pure.

When we lose ourselves in the expression of this love for Mohanji in this world… that is the highest bhakti. This is Mumuksha. A fierce burning that consumes all of this world’s transitory expressions. We burn with the ultimate longing for the union with the Self. Look at Mohanji. There is only love. No frills. No thrills. Simple. Complete. Unfettered. Free.

The un-liberated mind is like a dark cave filled with blind spots. For some, it’s the stuff of nightmares. For others, an exhilarating journey to liberation. In a maze of cobwebs, our defining life experiences are trapped within innumerable cocoons of unresolved emotional moments. By now, we all know that both karmic and family lineage blueprints bring this drama into our daily life experiences.

It is unimaginable to estimate just how much baggage there actually is. All stamped with an inevitable departure and expiration date. This is the cosmic game of karma that is always at play. Only Mohanji’s loving grace can change that. This is also why Mohanji reminds us to keep walking towards the light at the end of the tunnel. In his all-seeing state of omniscience, our beloved Parabrahma misses nothing! Nothing.

After seeing Mohanji turning into blinding white luminescent radiance during our first satsang, everything I knew changed from that fateful moment. Call it a mind-shift. Since then my awareness of SELF increased exponentially and continues to shift, to this day. I now realise that I am that blinding light, too. That was some trigger for my awakening, beloved Parabrahma!

mohanji-light

How absolutely exhilarating is it to wake up to our exquisite radiance. I am Mohanji. Mohanji is me. There is no separation. We are ONE. This is how we become unshakable. Unstoppable. Unfettered. Free. Free like the wind blowing through Kailash.

Connecting to our beloved Parabrahma’s consciousness is an adventure. The only way is to DIVE right in. Straight and true like Arjuna’s arrow. Getting to the other end is like crossing a bottomless river filled with unpredictable swirling currents. Only Guru knows the way. Mohanji has made this journey before. He knows how to navigate those dangerous currents. Stay close to our eternal lifeguard. Our beloved Light of Lights.

Through the gamut of emotions on this highly eventful journey, our beloved Parabrahma holds our hand ever so tenderly. Rest assured HE will never let go. Sometimes we get so caught up with ourselves that we forget HE is there. We fall prey to our turbulent emotions. Mistaken by the empty promises and the accolades of doership and ownership, we almost always miss the point of this lifetime by a long mile.

Mohanji says that in this day and age, we have the privilege to indulge in so many more deflections from the introspection of SELF. Let us examine this statement further. Social media platforms and trendy gadgets are all the rage these days. The pervasive thoughts that flit through our minds daily are more like these.

How cool do I look in my touched-up selfies? How sleek is my online presence? How many likes and dislikes did I get today? Who can I block today? Who is blocking my sun? What, too many messages about someone else! Not what the message is about. Just preoccupation with who is the message from.

Not what can I learn. Does this make sense? Does the truth in the message resonate with me? So, let us take a moment to ask ourselves. Is it about selfishness or selflessness? Am I drowning in the noise of this world? And lastly, perhaps most importantly, am I evolving?

Like music and movie stars the world over, pop star Michael Jackson was loved and idolised by millions when he was first discovered. However, as soon as he became a global superstar some of his fans turned on him. Social media was quickly and efficiently used to spread disinformation and negativity about him. Such is the fickleness of the human monkey mind.

Our social conditioning makes us envious of someone else’s light. So, we switch from light to dark without realising it. The adoring mob suddenly becomes a sneering mob which turns into an uncontrollably violent rampaging mob. This is how wars are created from mere disagreements. This is not bhakti.

These are conditioned responses from the mind, designed to stop us from looking inside. To stop us from discovering how spectacularly beautiful and complete we are. Each one of us. There are no exceptions. This is why Mohanji keeps reminding us. Not outside. Look inside. Watch how our world triggers the mind. Watch.

These days we are so desensitized by the conditioned responses that we no longer connect to ourselves. Heavily syndicated media houses control information which keeps us trapped in the external or physical world. Our early conditioning takes place in schools and later on as adults, we are captivated by mostly empty rhetoric designed to keep us passive and compliant. Most of today’s electronic and print media contrive to keep us there.

Trapped by romantic notions of external fantasies and potential lovers we forget our greatest ETERNAL love of all time. Ourselves. Shy of our nakedness, we rush to cover up our SELF. Shielding our eyes from the breath-taking splendour of nature, we sit in concrete jungles and dream about freedom. Write about freedom. Talk about freedom. This type of self-imposed behavioural isolation from our true place within nature is directly related to the degree of desensitisation we are currently experiencing in our lives.

Did you notice that we are surrounded by innumerable ‘negative’ triggers designed to arouse our basest instincts? This is why seemingly peaceful communities who have co-existed for a long time together turn on each other in the most violent ways. The question then is. Has this aggressive gene always plagued humankind?

Are our Himalayan Yogis actually wild men gone rogue? Or are they human beings who have mastered their minds and lost themselves in their radiance? It is a documented fact that some Yogis (or Yoginis) teleport, some use telekinesis, some of them manifest their thoughts effortlessly. Some are over a thousand years old. Some don’t age. They show us that our greatness cannot be hidden from us.

galaxy

Mohanji stays in the world so he can reach us where we are. Open your eyes. Open your mind. Awaken to the infinite and glorious inner multiverses by connecting to our beloved Mohanji’s consciousness. Life is neither a quirky nor a romantic movie. It is filled with highs and lows. When the going is good, the whole world is your friend. When it gets tough then we discover our true friends, says Mohanji.

Those who already love themselves do not need us to tell them that. The love we receive from them is truly selfless. Some reach out in desperation when they are down. Sometimes they get out of a rut and ignore the hand that pulled them out. This is what happens when we look for Mohanji only in bad times and forget him in good times.

Again and again, we are pawns of the lower mind. Even passive-aggressive quirkiness is unsettling. Forgive and keep moving says our beloved Parabrahma. Everyone is evolving at their own pace. Judge not lest ye be judged. Our beloved Parabrahma is there 24/7. Are you? Let’s not delude ourselves. Consistency and conviction lead us within. Mohanji is equanimous. He is unaffected by ego.

People in our lives are not pawns. Every one matters. We all have good and bad days. So how can we recognise the vibration of truth that resonates so strongly in Mohanji’s words? It’s like connecting to the waves of an audible hum. An eternal hum that originates from deep inside us. But no. Phew. Some of us wake up with an agenda for our work and social media already in mind. Yes, we are ready to go at a drop of a hat. Go where? For how long? Why do we not balance life’s both short-term and long-term goals? Dare to develop consciousness with full awareness or clarity for our evolutionary growth in this short, short life.

Ask yourself honestly, did any of us wake up with thoughts of what can we do for the world today. Even better. What can I do in this beautiful Universe today? It’s time to expand our awareness of reality. Consciousness. Mohanji also said recently, it’s time to connect to my consciousness. Not to my picture or the frames. Stop. Look again.

The time for unity with our Consciousness is upon us. Pay attention to the speed of how fast life is happening to us and around us. Some may feel a sense of breathlessness. Some may feel the time in the day is too short. It’s time to tune into the wavelength of our intuitive senses. It’s time to connect to our loving guide in this life. Parabrahma Swaroop Mohanji. No matter what the mind throws at you.

Remember it’s not accolades or titles that brought us here. Only Mohanji’s grace. Let us serve ourselves in ONENESS. The beautiful world awaits. INSIDE AND OUTSIDE.

Love you eternally beloved Parabrahma Swaroop Mohanji.
