Mohanji within me

During the evening part of my daily sadhana, I face a tapestry of Shirdi Sai Baba and an image of Mohanji. Around the last week of December, when I would do my sadhana, I would look into the tapestry and get the feeling that Baba is myself, and I am Baba. On December 28th, Baba’s presence was with me the entire time I did the sadhana.

The next night, I was in the car driving back from my dad’s, and I got the similar lovely feeling I had the night prior. I parked my car, closed my eyes and took in the beautiful sensation. I began to feel Mohanji inside of me. I had a vision of him sitting inside my body; he was meditating in this blue ball or aura. It disappeared quickly.

I tried so hard not to get my mind involved in this experience. My mind began wondering what if my neighbours saw me sitting in my car, but the feeling was too lovely to leave! At one point, I even tried to turn my neck, and it was like my spine wouldn’t let me. I knew I could move but at the same time…. Could I?

I simultaneously felt that I was in Mohanji while Mohanji was in me. I started to get the sensation that I was Mohanji.

I then felt this sensation on my scalp, like something was about to be pulled away. I wondered if my personality was going to go. I felt that it would be like death; my mind/personality would be gone. Not a death in the sense of me leaving the body. I could feel something in my head physically, almost being removed. My mind presented its concern about what would happen if it was not there, and at the same time, I was begging to continue feeling that connection. I didn’t want the feeling of Mohanji inside me to leave.

I then felt from my heart Mohanji say he would never leave me. It wasn’t an auditory experience. In fact, there was only silence. It was something from inside me that I was able to know. I could also feel the sensation of wanting something to be pulled away from the back of my spine, too, like the sensation of taking off a tight t-shirt. I wanted it to be gone! Get it off me! Please. It may not be time yet.

I couldn’t help but not want to move and continue with my experience. Still, I felt I should go upstairs, as if that was the solution preventing my mind from bothering me about the neighbours seeing me sit in my car with my eyes shut. I came into my room and stood before my photo of Mohanji, then closed my eyes. I could see myself in white clothes and Mohanji also in white clothes; he was standing a little behind me, to the right. We were in bright white light!

If you have met me, you know I am very short. I am only 4 feet 9. But at that moment, I felt BIG, taller, and expanded. Even though I am shorter than Mohanji in height, it felt like we are energetically equal. I felt more of myself; it was different again than how things feel in the waking state when I am distracted by something outside of me. The waking state is so heavy and dense. Things go fast. But in this sensation, there was no sense of time. I noticed it was only my mind keeping track of the time because I still needed to do my daily sadhana!

Before, I couldn’t understand how to look inside and see the Master there. After seeing him sit there in my chest, I understand why he says don’t look for him outside. Since this night, things have been changing inside me. Things have been changing for a long time, but after this night, a series of events kept occurring. After I saw him meditating inside me, I started to feel his presence more and more from within.

The following week, January 5th, I started a new part of my sadhana. I had a candle lit as I did mantra japa. I gazed into the flame and laughed, remembering how Mohanji said he did the same when he meditated. I felt I’m following in the footsteps of my Master. I then got the sensation of a hand on my head. I could feel the fingertips along my scalp. The grip became strong. I closed my eyes and knew it was Mohanji. This love pierced my heart, and I cried. Love was growing in my heart; I also began to do the Power of Purity. My heart has been expanding over days and weeks. I feel a sense of peace and stillness inside, and I feel very connected to all from my heart centre.

As some may have noticed, I also became insanely inspired out of the blue. I started to make videos of Mohanji and his quotes. I did not plan this out prior. I just did it spontaneously. I am falling in love with spontaneity. When I began making the posts each day, more internal changes inside me would take place, and other quotes would appear that matched exactly what I was processing the night before. Some synchronicities have been occurring.

When I have a realization from within, not long after that, I would see Mohanji’s quote posted saying the same thing. So I make a post out of it. For example, I felt very empowered to begin speaking about Mohanji. Talking about Mohanji is something I do almost 24/7 with people who talk to me. But this is the first time I have done it with a social media platform. I felt really good to be showcasing it more online.Talking about Mohanji is talking about my own self, life and heart. We can make our Guru’s message and presence available everywhere without expectations. We can do it out of the sheer love that we have.

Around this time, I saw a quote by him saying, “The easiest thing to do for liberating oneself in this world is to spread the message of our loving Guru while spreading the love with our very existence unconditionally. Your personal wealth has nothing to do with it. If you are afraid to talk about your Guru, who gave you himself, you are a hypocrite. Grace will not enter your doorway. Hypocrisy prevents grace.” That is a big confirmation for me that I will keep going.

I made a video out of that quote I mentioned above, and as I was making it, I asked Mohanji to select the music because I couldn’t decide. Somehow it got picked, and I thought to myself how much better it feels when there is a sense of togetherness, Mohanji making the videos along with me or even through me! Again, I saw a quote not long after that where Mohanji mentioned the joy of togetherness and non-doership.

One night this week, I was asking Dattatreya, Mohanji and the Tradition to protect me, cleanse me, and do something with me! The Tradition is my family, and I wish to be part of it, doing something for the Tradition. Hours later, a Mohanji family member saw my posts and asked me to make some for MyDattatreya platform. I agreed! I made the first video for it and started to feel very connected to Datta, from the heart and not the mind. Actually, the feeling of connectedness I get in my heart about Mohanji and Datta is the same. There’s no difference in the feeling in my heart.

A couple of days later, I was walking home and decided to cross the street, meaning I didn’t use the crosswalk to get to my apartment. A couple of moments before that, I thought about how we shouldn’t be scared of any negative forces as we are protected. I didn’t see any cars, so I took a few steps. What I didn’t notice was the fact that to the left, a car was making a turn towards me. But a parked mail truck was on the way, and I couldn’t see the car coming. I thought the road was clear. The car came right towards me; her car was going towards the sidewalk and not straight into the road. I backed away, and the lady even had to turn her wheel quickly not to hit me.

In the past, when such things happen, I would feel a sense of guilt or worry after that. “How could I have been so stupid?” But this time, things were different. I felt an insane amount of peace and stillness inside my heart. I felt that Mohanji had just saved my life. I asked for protection, and I truly got it. I could feel this certainty inside my heart. I was actually so happy to have experienced that. I really feel it inside my heart. I am changing. I can’t describe the feeling and will leave it at this for now. I’m nothing but a child of the Tradition. My life is for them! 

Mohanji, I wish to dedicate this post to your consciousness. And I really thank you for your presence which is turning me towards my true nature. You sparked inspiration inside of me, and I’m grateful for you. I love you so much. You are my life. Spreading the word of God has sparked so much joy and courage inside of me. This sensation that has awoken my heart makes so many other silly things not worth anything. The words of George Harrison from his song, ‘Your Love is Forever’ describes what I mean as well, “I feel it and my heart knows you’re the one guiding light in all, your love shines on, the only lover worth it all, your love is forever.”

Taste of Silence, Body on Standby

Experience during Empowered 5.0 at Zlatibor, Serbia, October 2022

This has been the most intense spiritual practice I have ever had. As we already had thorough preparation in theory and practice, we could immediately get down to the next level to taste a bit of inner silence.

“In the depth of silence, you will see me.”  

Mohanji

Through the Mohanji team, a card welcomed us into our rooms, conveying a message filled with tremendous love: 

“Dear master in the making, welcome to your cave
during the Empowered 5.0 experience.
As you detach from the outside world of
impressions, sensations, distractions, 
you will have an opportunity to dive deeper
into your inner world. Follow the SILENCE within,
and it will lead you to meet your TRUE SELF.
Mohanji will be with you every step of the way
as you enter into your safe space WITHIN.
Welcome, dear Master, your journey awaits you.”

Details make a difference, and I was really touched by this message.

It was going out of our comfort zone ultimately, with reduced external triggers, reduced movements and mild vegan food. Everything was conducive to going within, penetrating into oneself. 

Mohanji was preparing us well. He said, “Don’t eat unless you have to, don’t drink unless you have to, don’t sleep unless you have to.”

Along with Mohanji’s guidance, the Group Mai-Tri sessions conducted by Devi Mohan helped release emotions and tons of impressions. It was immensely powerful, and I felt more open and well-prepared to go into deeper sadhana. Through this process, I went into an ecstatic state while tears were rolling down, and I felt my heart expand larger than the hall. 

I meditated and relaxed a lot. I felt well-rested and caught up with the missed sleep due to my busy lifestyle.

I felt as if Mohanji had filled in special energy in the hall conducive to meditation and penetrating within. It felt like the energy of the cosmos, galaxies and intergalactic space, so the meditative state would not disappear. It stayed persistently throughout the whole program.

I have been on water therapy every morning since I became an Acharya in January 2019, and I know what it means. That morning I drank seven glasses, about 1.5 litres of coherent water (Analema or Somarka), and after a while, a small breakfast. But miraculously, despite drinking so much water, I didn’t have any call of nature. I challenged myself to stay as long as possible, even until the end! It is 7.5 hours. I persisted without much effort; it only required a bit of effort towards the end.

I noticed some patterns in my thought process. The pattern was to continue some discussions that had happened earlier and where I felt I had more to say.

I noticed that when I focused on the practice, Mohanji had advised us to do, I didn’t feel my body but just a pleasant flow of energy. The focus was nourishing. But when I started thinking and talking in my head, observing thought patterns and pictures appearing one after another, I would start feeling discomfort in my body. I would refocus and continue. 

At one moment, I felt I needed to get up and go for a toilet break. I felt I would disappoint myself by not completing my challenge. I thought, let me break earlier, and I will try some other day. When I went out, I was curious. I recognised I have the inclination to overcome boundaries. Now this inclination came out and expressed itself. I signalled to the lady at the reception, pointing at my left wrist. She understood I was asking about the time. She showed me the clock. It was 17:04! Precisely the end of the day. On the way back to the hall, I heard Nikolina announcing the end of that day’s sadhana and the schedule for the next day. 

I was so overwhelmed and grateful. Tears of gratitude started rolling down my cheeks. I bowed down to the vastness called Mohanji at his chair and sobbed a bit in gratitude mixed with a feeling of accomplishment. “Mohanji, you did it! Thank you so much for giving me this experience!” No need for food, water, toilet even though I had drunk 1.5 l of water that morning. The whole body was like on standby for 7.5 hours. I had never experienced anything like that state before. 

Now, after the whole program, I feel rejuvenated, fresh and light, full of energy. I feel empowered. I tasted a bit of silence and am determined to continue with the lifestyle conducive to finding inner silence, as much as my commitments allow. I experienced how much power we have over our bodies. When we enter a particular energy zone, we let the whole body be on standby. Similarly, when we force detachment, it doesn’t happen. 

But the more I connect to consciousness and are tuned to the energy aspect, a subtle aspect, then detachment happens by itself. 

I believe my ability to avoid attracting desires also has increased. When I tasted silence, my desires became directed to that – coming home to eternal silence. 

I also experienced that I am not this body. I felt that I am the merger of physical and metaphysical, gross and subtle.

Finally, by tasting the silence, a tremendous feeling of self-sufficiency increased. I didn’t go through any crises caused by the deprivation of external stimuli. I had a sense of well-being without needing anything external, leading to a liberated existence.

I am incredibly grateful to Mohanji for this opportunity and humbled by the experience, transformed as a tiny dot in the whole universe, showered by and filled with omnipresent, inexhaustible, omnipotent love.

Lessons living with Mohanji – Days 57 and 58

Day 57 lesson – The power of silence 

The past days here have been very much routine, something that I’ve spoken of before. And for me, that’s waking up, doing practices for myself, make sure everything’s organized or planned for the day. And then I’ll speak to Mohanji about his activities, the day’s activities, and anything else we need to speak about. And depending on how busy he already is, or how much we need to cover, that will be the time that I spend there. 

Then we have morning aarati at 6 am. It’s important here that we all attend, and it takes place in the puja room downstairs. Mohanji will be there sitting in his chair with the windows open, and all the beings that come to see him take his darshan, the birds, and the squirrels. 

For the past few days, I’ve been keeping conversation to a minimum because I’ve had some discomfort in my mouth, causing a bit of pain, which is fine, but I’m speaking only when necessary. 

This reminded me of one of the really good practical lessons that I observed from Mohanji. I have known about it sometime before being here, but it was also reconfirmed during the Bootcamp session we had. And this is the power of silence. The fact that in any situation that we face, silence is always an option for us, and it can be really powerful. 

Before having the role I do now, I used to work in business, large projects mainly, complex technology projects. And there were always many issues because things were never planned, there were never enough people, so we were always tight for time. There were always problems. People would have their interpersonal challenges as well; some people would not get along with others. 

In meetings, there would be a competitive environment where many people want to speak over each other to get their point across. Tensions were high because of the pressures, and people would be really easy to snap. 

So what I learned from watching some of Mohanji’s videos is that silence is always an option for us in situations. Especially when I felt provoked into speaking or triggered, it was to actually respond with silence rather than reacting to that because I found those situations were often coming from an emotional place. If someone had said something, or I didn’t agree with something, the immediate instinct was to react. And that was one of the habits I had. 

This sometimes had a good effect, and other times not so good results, because it either helped move things forward, or it could turn disastrously wrong. Especially if I was critical of someone else because people remember that – the injury of words can last much longer than a physical injury. 

So I remember that silence is an option, and sometimes I choose not to speak. And actually, that would be more impactful than trying to speak because lots of people are eager to get their point across. 

This holds true now as well. I was thinking about this again, contemplating that previously I’d be very eager to speak, to share my view, but I realized that it’s not always necessary. And also, if someone is angry or frustrated, or they are in an emotional space, then just by being silent, it can be an instant diffuser to that situation that completely calms or neutralizes it. 

I found as well that sometimes people are looking for a fight or some provocation. And silence as a response has its power in those situations. 

The added benefit, something which I’ve been thinking about more as we’re walking this path, especially silence being a key aspect of it is that when there were situations where I would respond or react with an equal conversation, emotions or frustrations, they would stay much longer in the mind; the events would even replay themselves. This would cause more disturbances because it would spoil my day and also the other interactions. 

With silence as a response, the event passes much more quickly. And I see Mohanji responds in this way often in situations, too, especially when questions are asked that don’t necessarily need an answer, where they’re being asked from a place of just for the sake of asking. Using in the appropriate time, silence as a minimum response is always an option.

Day 58 Lesson – The state of stability

Today I wanted to share a learning about one of the themes for this year 2021, which is stability. 

One of the things that stands out for me about Mohanji, which comes from sitting with him day to day and observing how he interacts with the various people who are contacting him, is his stability and steadiness. 

I’ve been here for many months now, sharing each morning. The variety in scale and also intensity of the situations which Mohanji handles is very vast. Some people may think that it’s just the Mohanji Global platforms which he is looking at, but there’s much more that he’s handling, actually. He acts in a friendly advisor capacity to many people worldwide. So he’s involved with many of their activities and situations, too. 

I found that regardless of what’s happening, what the situation is, he remains stable, steady. And he doesn’t waver or sway in how he treats people. And he said this before; he always stands by people, no matter what. If they stand by him, he stands by them. 

For many people, if something is happening in their lives, it can spill over into other areas of their lives. But with Mohanji, nothing of what he’s handling ever spills over into any other conversations, any other activities. They are all very discrete and separate. He takes situations as they come and handles them as they come. There are no emotions added. Everything is dealt with and then finished and completed. 

Whether this is somebody that’s dying, someone is being born, a new baby coming into the world, or somebody who’s getting married, it’s all on a similar level to him. Because he handles everything as it is. This doesn’t mean that he’s not engaged. He’s fully engaged, but it’s a state in which I can observe where he’s operating from and how he’s living with complete calm and complete stability. 

I think this is why he has such an appeal with people because it’s hard to find people like that in the world that are so stable and steady. Because people have minds, they are swayed by emotions, opinions, concepts. And we create imaginations, expectations, and then the corresponding sorrows. This is something that I’m learning through observing Mohanji, that there is a state that’s beyond all these turbulences of the mind. It exists, and Mohanji represents that. 

It’s a good reminder because I find that I can sometimes be taken very easily for a ride by the mind. There have been situations that trigger a reaction in me, and then the mind will gladly take hold of it, compare it with other situations, dissect it, distorted it, maybe give a new narrative to it. Before I know it, it’s something completely different from the actual reality of the situation at hand. 

In the recent Invest in Awareness program, we spent a lot of time talking about the mind. The mind being a projector – what is inside us is projected outside onto the canvas of the world. So whether it’s love, whether it’s hate, or views, or opinions, it’s projected out. Then if we experience what comes back, and we like it, or more accurately, it matches our expectations, we’re happy and satisfied. But if something comes back, which we don’t like, or doesn’t match our expectations, then we’re unhappy. We even carry that event longer, creating more suffering.

This can happen at any time. It happened recently to me unknowingly. And for a time, it really tilted me and my focus, and it was created by some unconscious expectation. When it wasn’t met, then obviously, the unhappiness came. But the suffering was not so much because it was possible to recognize that it’s a situation of my mind, and remembering that steadiness of Mohanji, that he’s the same from yesterday to today, and he will be the same tomorrow. 

A good reminder and a learning for me is that whilst we have a mind, it can always be prone to its fancy, unconsciously or consciously. As I observe Mohanji handling many different scenarios, it’s a good reminder that that stability is always a real possibility. I think it clearly demonstrates where he’s operating from, which is certainly not the fluctuations of a changing mind.

Bliss in Meditation

Here are some beautiful experiences shared by participants on Mohanji’s guided meditations. Many participants had profound experiences and were amazed at the consistency with which they were able to do this sadhana. RimJhim, Padmini share some insights from this meditation which enriched them and Charles jokingly refers to them as ‘The Mohanji shortcuts’.

I am very new to the Mohanji Foundation. Honestly, I did not know what to expect out of this meditation, but I started my journey in good faith. About a week back, when I sat for meditation, I felt sick with heaviness in the head, backache and nausea. I thought I would never be able to complete my meditation that day. But to my surprise, not only did I complete my meditation successfully that day; since then, I haven’t experienced any pain in my neck and head region, which is very common with me. The next day when I sat for meditation, suddenly there was an outburst of tears, and throughout the meditation, they were pouring out uncontrollably. But that night, I slept like a child. When I got up the next day, I felt very light from within, as if a lot of burdens I had been carrying since I don’t know for how long has been removed. I haven’t met Mohanji, and I do not know if I am actually connected with him, as I’ve never had any spiritual guru or guidance earlier. 

I surrendered myself to Mohanji, saying that please let me complete my meditation today as I’ve vowed to experience the 41-day meditation without missing a single day! I’ve started my journey in good faith, and may he guide me and bless me always!

On 15th June, the Bliss of Silence meditation was very turbulent to start.

As the breathing began, many people and many faces unknown, of different races and from different periods were flashing in my mind. It was like a rapid succession of picture slides flooding in, flashing in front of me; the mind was spinning.

There were times when I didn’t hear Mohanji’s instructions in the meditation. This flashing of faces went on for some time, and suddenly when Mohanji told us to go slow in our breathing without our lungs being aware, somewhere at that point, the madness or flashing pictures stopped all of a sudden.

A sentence flashed in my mind, or I heard (I am not sure), 

“Silence is the substratum on which sounds dance.”  

This was very clear. 

Then Lord Shiva, larger than life, appeared. He was all-encompassing; there was only Him, nothing else!

Soon after, a vision of Krishna sprouted, followed by many Krishnas and myriad people doing ‘Raas’ with him.

Then I heard Mohanji’s voice asking us to be aware of the body as part of the meditation.

I bow in gratitude to Mohanji for this beautiful opportunity for group meditation and for enabling me to get deeper into the silence within.

The Mohanji Shortcut by Charles Ndifon Londi

Humanity generally loves shortcuts to go somewhere or to achieve something in life. Why spend so much time and energy going all the way when there is a shorter route to get something or arrive at a destination? This expediency is particularly noticeable in the political and social milieux, where people take shortcuts to power, wealth, and fame no matter the consequences to themselves or their society. Here we look at shortcuts, from the spiritual perspective, not in a very favourable way.

Many gruesome stories abound of people in the socio-political sphere who tried to short-circuit life by using shortcuts and ended up regretting their actions. It would appear that one’s real intent, most probably of an altruistic nature, would determine if taking a shortcut is worth it. They involve a lot of creativity on the part of anyone who is in any situation, so they could be very personal and unique to different individuals.

As a Mohanji student, I have come up with what I call the Mohanji Shortcut to help keep my heart centre open and ”Just be love for a few more moments, just be love forever” as Mohanji prescribes in Blossoms of Love Meditation. I have found out, and many can attest, that it is not so easy to demonstrate the love that Mohanji talks about. Each individual is love already, as Guruji says since the fabric from which we are cut is love, but a keen observation proves that the perception, recognition, and realization of ourselves as already beings of love not needing to seek love but just to express it is another thing altogether. In fact, it is not easy to work from the Master’s prescribed point of view as the mind sometimes goes crazy, keeps judging, analyzing, condemning, seeing things in categories rather than as a whole.

Even after doing the meditations diligently, you may sometimes hear the mind saying, ”You are undeserving of my attention. You are crude, rude, ungrateful, unkind, and scheming, and I don’t want to have anything to do with you” regarding another person. This may be accentuated by the fact that some people may want to use you as a footstool because you talk to them about love, as outlined by Mohanji. So they want to attach to you, take advantage of you, and abuse the love that you so generously pour out in various forms. ”Oh, he/she is a God-loving person”, they say and think you can put up with just about anything. I have experienced this countless times, and it is ongoing. However, I reckon that as free beings of love, we also have the freedom to give or withhold love using our sense of spiritual discrimination. This may entail an opening and closing of the heart centre, which Mohanji wants us to keep open constantly. This is where the Mohanji Shortcut helps keep one in a constant state of love awareness consciously and unconsciously.

What I jokingly call the Mohanji Shortcut is remembering to do everything in Mohanji’s name where I cannot help myself, where the mind overrides, and I become judgemental with so many ‘whys’. Since Mohanji Consciousness is the highest state that we all aspire for, doing acts in his name in normal and difficult circumstances when the mind interferes helps to keep the ‘I’ or ‘ME’ factor in abeyance and behold, love, steals into my heart without me knowing. And sometimes I have fun walking, eating, chatting, sleeping, dancing, taking medication, etc., in Mohanji’s name. I find that doing things in his name engenders sweet remembrance of the Master and that which he represents– the Universal Supreme Consciousness. In one situation, when in a quandary of what to do or say, I just asked myself, ”How would Mohanji act in this situation?”

The answer that flowered was ‘with love.’ All that Mohanji presents (talks, retreats, seminars, Guided Meditations, books, and discourses) and represents is a shortcut to unblemished supreme consciousness/awareness of life.

Transforming through love

Inspired by Mohanji, Rowena from the Philippines shares her experiences of some of the service activities she’s carrying out with her team members, bringing love, friendship, and happiness to many children in her community.

Our meditation group found Danica, a 12-year-old girl who is affected by cerebral palsy and meningitis, living in the coastal area of Cogon. She is the third in a family of eight children. Her mother died of a heart ailment in 2017. The father is a fisherman. When the group found her, she was skin and bones, dying of malnutrition. Darry, the father was lost in despair because of the death of his wife. Immediately, the group supported her family with food supplies for three of the younger children. Danica was on a liquid diet, so we got her a blender. Being a widow myself, I felt in my heart the hardship a single parent goes through, mentally and emotionally. I also connected Danica to a doctor friend who kindly committed to checking up on her every week, and supplied her with vitamins as well. We also supported the father by giving him work in our hotel as a groundsman.

I was new to the Mohanji family at the time I met Danica, and I was doing some seva activities in a few places where possible. In 2019, I also started a kids/teen yoga and meditation programme. It was my dream to share this consciousness to the kids, for them to have a better life in the future. So being in contact with Danica’s family, I asked Darlyn her younger sister, to ask her friends if they would like to learn yoga.

This became the first group of Mohanji teens/kids. Danica’s siblings and some of her friends joined the yoga sessions. At that time, I started practising Mohanji’s teachings about non-doership, living a life of surrender to God, selflessness, love, kindness, and compassion. I believe this is the perfect example of the transforming power of love. Danica thrives not only with good nutrition but by the love, support, and hope that was given to her family. We are all a part of the pure universal energy and that is what Danica feels when we are around her.

The group of 10 kids I started with has now grown to 35. The numbers increase every week, and we are serving two areas here in Roxas City. Children from the coastal areas and also from the main city join us for our sessions regularly. It gives me a lot of joy to be able to help so many people in my community.

‘Meditation Garden’ is what we call our group. We are a group of meditation students using Mohanji’s guided meditations that we found online. It’s been almost two years since we started feeding those who needed support and introducing yoga and meditation in almost all areas here in our province. Once I asked myself, “How are these activities going to be effective to people if we do not go back and encourage them to do the sessions regularly?”

It was February 2019 when a thought came to mind, ‘What if I gather the kids here in my place every week and teach them yoga and meditation, and give them vegetarian snacks?’

So I sent Darlyn a message, she is Danica’s sister, the person with a disability our group was looking after, near a coastal area. One Sunday, Darlyn gathered her friends and siblings and attended my first yoga and meditation session. We did some light yoga stretching, breathing techniques, and a short silence as an introduction and had healthy snacks afterwards. Then, I asked them to write down their experiences in a journal so that I could monitor their progress.

Then the next week, another 5 kids from the same area joined us to do the same activities. On the third week, Mataji invited five kids from another underprivileged area in the city, and every week the numbers are increasing. At the start, I thought the children were coming because they like the food since most of them are from poor families. But there are days when they hardly finish the food. And as I observe them, what I realised was, what they love in our meetings where the hugs, the conversations, and the games we play with them, because the parents hardly have time with their kids, so they feel unloved.

It’s been a year already, and now these kids have developed mindfulness through yoga; their behaviour has changed for the better. Even the ways they dress has changed, they are always clean and smell good, and are ready to learn new things. They have learnt to share with the other kids as well as we take them for our seva activities in different communities. Now we are introducing them slowly to chakras, some of Mohanji’s teachings like ahimsa, selflessness, etc. They love wearing their Mohanji t-shirts and wish to meet Mohanji in person. I gave each child a framed picture of Mohanji as a gift and shared with them that they can always talk to him because he is like a Father to them. He is someone who loves them, cares for them, and only wants the best for them. Now, even some of the mothers are joining the kids every Sunday for our sessions.

I am very grateful for the beautiful opportunities to help these children and their families. It’s wonderful to see how love can transform so many lives.

Living in our Beloved Mohanji’s Consciousness

Every day is an adventure! When I am quiet inside, it is easy to sense our beloved Para Brahma’s energetic presence. There is no need to be in a deep chant, prayer or concentration. To my utmost joy, I have discovered Mohanji is always around whether I am aware of it or not.

Recently, our son turned Vegan after a session of the Mai Tri Method. It was not driven by a need to be spiritual but instead, it was out of his compassion for the animals that were being killed for meat. Having just turned thirteen, he has become aware of the harsh nature of this world and become deeply reflective.

Sometimes, he is downright angry. Sometimes, he can be ever so gentle too, that his heart swells with compassion for all Beings suffering in this sleek modern world, we adults are so proud of. Connection to our beloved Mohanji and his teachings are pivotal to his awakening.

In Mohanji’s loving light, his once bleak future glows brighter. Isn’t that just the most beautiful thing? A young person growing up with compassion, kindness, humility, and gratitude has already changed the world. Mohanji lovingly calls that awareness.

Children like him grow into adults who live in harmony with Mother Earth. We need to make time to nurture and elevate our children to this pivotal point of seamless integration. As parents and adults get caught up in the spiral of helpless apathy, there is less inclination to make changes that prevent cataclysmic outcomes in our timeline.

We need to wake up now. Children need to learn to live in harmony with all beings that share this planet with us. More importantly, they need to conserve and protect the manifested Consciousness that is our living planet! We are overdue for a reset.

Too much of interference has upset the balance of nature. When Mother finally resets that balance only Mohanji knows what that outcome will be. Pay attention before it’s too late. Our beloved Mohanji has already said that the years 2019 to 2022 are a mini golden period of acceleration to connecting with our Consciousness – Soul State.

So, what are we doing about it? Still living our day to day life without awareness of the momentous importance of this mini Golden Age or not? If we were paying attention to the incredible experiences of our global family, it will be easy to understand the significance and magnitude of this acceleration.

Everything is moving so fast. Time is on steroids! We appear to be moving as fast in our daily lives as the Earth is spinning on its axis and revolving around the sun! The sun seems to be getting brighter. Has anyone else noticed this?

We live on the coast, so mornings are very bright and as the sun sets the golden orange hues appear vivid for longer periods. Even when busy with simple chores, there is a greater awareness of Consciousness at work.

Have you wondered why it is possible to pick up people’s thoughts no matter how far they live in the world? It feels like the wavelengths of the different frequencies we are on are becoming finely attuned. To think, we all have the ability to integrate fully with each other at Consciousness level is still astounding.

Sometimes when something appears not to work out, it is easy to understand that it’s not meant to be. This translates to lesser feelings of attachment to mere things. It is however still challenging when it comes to relationships. The closer they are, the more complex it appears to be.

Sometimes the magnificent complexity of how karma works totally floors me. An incredibly vast cosmic chess game in play comes to mind. Just this small glimpse of my chosen life is enough to deliver a humbling glimpse of how blessed we are to have our beloved Mohanji in this life.

Mohanji’s life is about selfless and unconditional love for all Beings – animate and inanimate. Our Mohanji lives His teachings. I do remember challenging myself to walk in Mohanji’s footsteps during a Conscious Walk with Him. Within the first few steps, I was overwhelmed with a sense of resounding vastness and great power that I took a deep breath and faltered.

The physical form is just eight percent (8%) says our beloved Parabrahma Swaroop Mohanji. So, exactly what is the ninety-two percent (92%)? Can we handle the implications of this? Are we consistently working on speeding up our integration to Mohanji’s pure Consciousness during this golden period? It’s an opportunity that has not presented itself for over a million Earth years.

I have yet to come to the point of asking the tree for the flower before I pick it. To come to the point where every tree is treated with love and respect not just understanding that they are the ‘holy’ trees, flowers or fruit. All is pure Consciousness. Can you imagine what our beloved Mohanji sees or experiences?

The ancient tribes of the world were deeply connected to Consciousness. Sadly, modernity trapped in concrete jungles has quickly squashed out every semblance of this wisdom. Human eyes can only see a small fraction of the true light spectrum. Other Beings have more attuned senses than we do.

All too often, I do find it easier to sense Mohanji’s presence than ‘see’ it. Our son also saw our beloved Mohanji’s astral form in the colours of the rainbow. As spectacular as it is, it is only eight percent of manifested form. What else are we missing?

My humble understanding is that our purified ‘intuitive’ senses are our true power base. Seeing with our third eye allows us to interact with Mohanji on the astral plane. Causal interaction requires full integration and stability into Mohanji’s consciousness.

Then Father’s (Mohanji’s) energy hums through our Being. It feels like a multitude of buzzing bees inside you at first. When Mohanji’s energy moves through you, it feels like great waves of soothing energy passing through. Later you realise it is through all other energy bodies as well.

In time we learn to recognise Mohanji’s blessed presence and surrendering to the LOVE fills us with LIGHT. On this journey, we are subject to many tests as we become attuned to higher and higher frequencies. Sometimes we feel alone and isolated. I have come to regard them as tests.

Consistency and perseverance are stepping stones. Never give in to the negative mind. It’s so easy to slip into negativity. As our awareness increases, we recognise the mind-traps. All I endeavour to remember is that no matter what, I am never alone. Mohanji is always with me.

Even when fear transmits itself in earnest, it does not last. There is instant recognition and instant diminishment. Have NO FEAR when Mohanji is near. Actually, Mohanji is within us. We are within Mohanji. There is NO separation.

It is time to shut down the mind and its limitations and go within. Stop the thoughts from intruding. Watch them without interfering. Almost like they have a life of their own, thoughts become aware of being watched and slow down. Like naughty children! Then mind stops like a child caught doing something guilty.

It’s almost like most thoughts do not belong to us! Almost like, we are bombarded from an external source to stop us connecting to the inherent silence inside. Almost like external interference. As for ‘why’, it makes sense not to dwell on the negatives.

Mohanji always reminds us to focus. He lovingly says we have the power to stop the noise. Our personal experiences are filled with amazing tales of expanding into Mohanji’s Consciousness. Soul State. Mohanji came here to remind us how beautiful we are. On my low listless days, this is enough to pick me up quickly.

It is becoming easier not to plunge into dark states of depression and mind deadening repetitive thoughts, belittling or scolding myself for not being good enough or accepted by others. Self-judgement is getting less and less. My egotistic responses are quickly recognised and dropped. Life prana stops draining out.

Belittling things that people say do not get me down as it once did. Mohanji teaches us to flow. I feel that this humble little river is growing expansive and powerful as it flows towards full integration into Mohanji’s Consciousness. It is all Mohanji’s grace.

There are increasing periods of stillness like I never imagined possible. Silence is an exquisitely beautiful thing. All in all, I am finding a balance between my roles and integrating into Mohanji’s Consciousness. Every moment in this mini Golden Age counts. I’m not wasting one second of it.

There is an incredible sense of fearless freedom from my mind. The chinks on the shackles that once bound me are becoming looser. Again and again, our beloved Mohanji’s grace is always evident. Thank you, thank you, thank you beloved Mohanji! Ever grateful. Humblest pranaams. Surrendered at your lotus feet.
