As usual, Mohanji joined promptly on time and initiated the Homa at 1:30 pm UK time as planned. I had made an intention (Sankalpa), saying, “With the grace of Mohanji, the fear that is binding me and any other unwanted things that I carry, be burned to ashes in this Homa fire.” Then I closed my eyes and sat there in front of the Homa (by zoom) connecting to Mohanji.
After the beautiful birthday ceremony, a dream come true moment, I was called for a private conversation with Mohanji. One Mai-Tri practitioner (let’s name him D) was also there with me. To my surprise, Mohanji was in a different mood than usual. I was expecting us to talk, but he was determined to give me a present I never thought of getting. In a very doctor-patient manner, he explained that I need to take my condition seriously, gave precise instructions to D, and asked only one thing from me – patience. I was not aware of what he meant by that, but I promised anyway. I remember crying a lot.
He has unequivocally fulfilled his promise to watch over his devotee’s every need while blessing me with the realization that the relationship with an authentic Master is reciprocal in nature requiring me to not only receive but to live the teaching by continually giving back.
During the last five days (towards the end of the 41 days), I started to experience this strange thing that if someone asked me a question or asked me to translate anything, the words just poured from me as if it wasn’t I who was doing the talking. All the words that came from my mouth were very precise and came with confidence. Showering blessings to everyone and everything (as part of Power of Purity) became very easy with the everyday practice of this powerful meditation.
The pain, the scars of the situation and the people who caused it did not matter because, with Mohanji’s guidance, I chose freedom, I chose acceptance of myself, I chose to love myself, and I chose the path of liberation.
My courage is undoubtedly far more powerful than my self-doubt and my attitude more powerful than my mind.
I had forgotten about my vision with the ethereal being upon meeting Brahmarishi Mohanji, but some time ago, upon looking at his photo and contemplating it, it suddenly burst upon me, like sunshine from behind the dark clouds, that this is the being who had appeared to me 28 years ago and struck my thigh three times and disappeared. I think when the time is propitious, the meeting between a Master and his student is inevitable in any lifetime, and a span of even 50 years before the meeting is just a moment.
Today, as I sit typing this testimonial, I feel Mohanji’s loving embrace as always. I am aware of great pain, but it has not torn me apart like before. Such is his grace. Mohanji says all other lifeforms that share this Earth with us are ‘people’ too. We are all Source. We are all the same energy. Parabrahman.
When we have faith and surrender, Guru’s grace will give us the toughness and the tenacity to go through any situation, and that is what I experienced in this holy journey to Kailash.
It is really Mohanji’s grace that he was able to fight the Covid-19 virus and survive a cardiac arrest at the same time. The 4 Mai-Tri sessions carried out by Bhavani during the two weeks when he was in the ICU were instrumental for his recovery. If Mohanji’s grace was not there, I cannot think what could have happened.
