I think many who have met Mohanji or attended retreats will know and experience that side of Mohanji because he has a really good sense of humour and a very quick wit. He says that those who can laugh even at the height of their sorrows are always happy.
Yesterday, I received a great question from somebody. I felt that the answer I was sharing was also useful for this voice recording because it could give more of a dimension to Mohanji about how he approaches life, and especially how he approaches people. The question was: “Does Mohanji ever get irritated or show any sign of emotion when dealing with such a high volume of different people, where some people may be genuine, and others have impossible expectations?”
Day 13 lesson – Blessings from Sathya Sai Baba By Christopher Greenwood Yesterday when I went to speak with Mohanji
Ever since I started living with him, managing his time, calendar, schedule, etc., it’s evident that people connect to Mohanji in many different ways, and see him in many different varieties. And for me personally, it’s something that I ask myself from time to time; who is this man called Mohanji? And I can honestly say that the more time I spend with him, the less I know. And that’s a fact.
Mohanji and the Nath Gurus have played such an important part in Monika and her family’s life in the last 2 to 3 years without them even knowing, and this is the ultimate unconditional love Mohanji and the Masters have for all! Incredible grace comes – just a sincere prayer brought the Masters of the Tradition to this family!
One day, when I was doing my Kriya, I felt a strong connection with Mohanji. As soon as my Kriya was completed, I went and bowed down to Mohanji’s picture, then went to bow to Shree Sainath Maharaj’s idol that I have on my altar. Suddenly, without my knowing, I started humming the first few lines of the Brahmarishi Mohanji song and I had tears in my eyes out of love for him.
Kumbh Mela was always a dream since childhood and to be able to attend this someday was indeed a big milestone in my life. Due to the grace of the Tradition, I had the opportunity of doing my first Kumbh in the year 2015 in Nasik with Mohanji and again in 2019 in Prayag. I had read about the Kumbh in Prayag in the book ‘The Autobiography of a Yogi’. I would imagine the visuals of how it would be to be there in person but never knew one day I would physically attend one.
Two narrow escapes from certain hazards in a very short period reinforce the assurance of a loving connection and potent protection from Mohanji.
One evening, after doing Mohanji Aarti, I got a very strong thought to go to Shirdi. It was late in the evening and I thought it might not be a good idea to start at that time. But the thought was so strong that I was forced to book a bus and leave. Within one hour I was on a bus to Shirdi.
