No Pain, No Gain

July 12, 2017 was “Sankatahara chaturthi”, a special day for Lord Ganesha. I had prepared steamed modaks as an offering for the God that day. My son, who had returned from school, asked for some fried modaks as well. It is an elaborate process to prepare them and as the next day was his birthday, I did not want to disappoint him and made that as well.

My son and I have our birthdays exactly a week apart. A few days preceding my birthday, I started experiencing burning sensations in my body. It started with the feet and then slowly felt them in my palms also. One fine morning, I was drawing a simple rangoli at the pooja room entrance. I usually draw a floral pattern but I was surprised to see that I had drawn feet that day. In India, we have the practice of decorating the floor with the pattern of Krishna’s feet on Janmashtami day but that was still a month away. Why had I drawn the feet, I wondered.

On my birthday,  my sister made a surprise visit to Bangalore. We went on our usual weekend drive to see the progress of our new house that was under construction. On the way back, we exited from a different gate than we usually do. I noticed a board and as it was in Kannada (the local language), I asked my husband, Shiva, to read out what was on it. He said, “Sri Chaitanya Paduka Mandira.”

I connected it to Brahma Chaitanya Maharaj but wanted to find out what it actually was, so I asked Shiva to take us there.  When we got there, Shiva and Radha stayed back in the car as I stepped out. I saw a few dogs and told Shiva, “One of those dogs is staring at me. Don’t want to get bitten on my birthday! ” He said, “Nothing will happen. It is all in your mind! Just go.”

As I entered the temple, I  saw that the main door was closed. So I walked up to the ‘sthala vriksham’ and offered my humble prostrations and birthday prayer. I knew the main tree in a temple’s premises houses the consciousness of divinity but did not at that point in time know that it was an Audumbar (fig) tree. The watchman told us that it would open in an hour’s time but that seemed like a long wait for the others. So I left with the desire to come to the temple another day.

Chaitanya Paduka Mandir

A couple of days later when we went back to supervise the construction, I asked Shiva to take me to the temple again as it is just a few minutes from our new house. We went inside this time and had the place to ourselves as there was no one in there at the time. It was such a unique shrine. We quietly walked up to the second floor that houses the padukas of several masters along with their pictures. I did not recognize some of them. My husband patiently read out the nameplate in Kannada and I bowed to each one. I felt some energy going up my body and prayed that I should be healed soon as the lingering sensation in my legs continued to bother me.

I had initially consulted a general physician for the burning sensation and he diagnosed it as a Vitamin B12 deficiency. But the supplements were not helping much. While my haemogram results showed improvement, the burning now seemed as if it had reached the head. Some days,  instead of heat, I felt that my head was feeling like ice.

I wanted to explore other solutions to my problem and started yoga classes regularly. When I explained what I was going through physically, the senior yoga teacher could not comprehend the problem. She told the lady next to her, “These days people get strange problems!” She was kind and empathetic but could not understand my situation. Therefore, while I continued the yoga sessions, I did not wait to explain the other sensations such as numbness, pricking, etc. that I was going through.

I, myself, was surprised by the strange sensations that I was experiencing. It was because, it was not all pain, all the time. Occasionally, I had blissful raindrop sensations. It was as though something was constantly trickling in my head. Every morning, even as I stepped down from the bed, I would experience a pull going from my foot to the top of my head. I would have mild pain during yoga or while in the pooja room but would start increasing through the day. I had to learn to word all that I was experiencing to explain to the doctor. The symptoms brought all guesses ranging from diabetes to thyroid issues and these were eliminated with tests.

Even as I was physically undergoing some struggles, I also had beautiful dreams. Some of them felt so real. The dreams augured something beautiful would unfold. Whenever my fears reached their peak, signs of assurance kept flowing in and calmed me down. I always meditated on two lines of a Tamil verse “Anju Mugam thondrin Aarumugam thondrum” which means “When you fear, the six-faced Lord appears!” There is another explanation to this verse that my father told me – “When the five-faced Lord Shiva appears, Lord Skanda appears.” (Anju also means five in Tamil)

In October, my music teacher organized a programme at her house during the Navarathri festival. Throughout the programme, I felt heavy pressure on my eyes and made up my mind to consult a neurologist. After returning home, I called my father and sought his advice. He asked me not to worry and that he would do an “Anga-pradakshinam” at Tiruchendur to help me tide over the crisis. I thanked him and also mentioned to him that I would consult a neurologist as well.

The neurologist diagnosed it to be a nutritional deficiency. Although the heating and cooling sensations could not be explained, he gave me some medicines to subside the pain. I did not discuss the problem with anyone except Shiva and my parents. I felt that it was a wasted effort. If a senior yoga teacher and a neurologist could not understand it, I was pretty sure that my sharing this with others would only invite more flippant responses than solutions. With the help of guru google, I had narrowed it down to one of two things – If it is bad, it is some neuro problem and if it is good, it is related to the Kundalini experience.

Shiva cheered me and said, “If your thinking is positive, only good things will happen. Maybe your chakras are opening!” I felt as though he was brushing aside my problem. Although he was being his usual self, he did not really understand what I was physically going through. It had gone to the extent that when he entered the house he would lift his headphones and ask, “Hot or cold?” If I said, “Cold”, he interpreted this as being in a good mood and would talk. Otherwise, he would place them back on and take his calls.  It made me realize that when there is an internal problem one is going through, which is not visible to the naked eye, however understanding people are, none can perceive the actual problem or the intensity of it. No matter how empathetic or compassionate they are, they can only help to an extent. Beyond that one has to journey alone to find the answers.

Speaking of journeys, we went to Chennai that year to celebrate the last three days of Navarathri with my parents. On the way, we reminisced about our fabulous and memorable trip to Kathirgamam (Kataragama) which has a fascinating back story and I went into a reverie…

About 65 km from Chennai, there is a place called Tirukallil which has the ancient Sivanandeswarar temple where one of the first and foremost Saivite saints Tirugnanasambandar sang in praise of the Lord and as such it holds a special place in Tamil history. The main priest of this temple, Arumugam gurukkal was 107 years old. He had great love for the temple and the deity was his life. As the gurukkal had got on with age, he had requested my father to assist him with performing abishekams on special days. He was a great inspiration to me because I used to be amazed by his love for God. He would come all the way to attend social functions in Chennai so he could mobilize funds for the sustenance of the temple’s festivals.

The visit in July 2016, was extra special because it was the “Pre-Kailash Pradosham” as my father used to call it. My father was booked to go on the Kailash parikrama with Mohanji. I did not know who Mohanji was at the time. All that we knew was my dad had met a Master and was keenly looking forward to his upcoming trip. Chennaiites rarely have a stock of winter clothing because of the climate. So I bought some jackets and travel items that would be needed for such a trip. On that day, the abishekam was splendid. I really opened out in the serene atmosphere that surrounds the temple and with no inhibitions whatsoever, sang with gay abandon, assured that the Lord was enjoying my rendition.

After a really fulfilling visit, I headed back to Bangalore the next day. I was on the way home from the railway station when my dad called me and said with equanimity – “I am not eligible for parikrama according to the new Chinese rules. I am not doing Kailash this time. It was a reminder to me that God has his own plans.

My father had given me the book “Muruga, the embodiment of beauty and valour!” In the book, it is mentioned that Kathirgamam (in present-day Sri Lanka) is referred to as the “Dakshina Kailash” or the Kailash of the south. Kathirgamam is in the same longitude as Kailash and a pilgrimage there is equivalent to a pilgrimage to Kailash. Almost a year later, on one of our weekend visits to Chennai for the panguni uthiram celebrations at home, the topic of a trip to Kathirgamam came up, and Shiva said that it would be his birthday treat to my father. As things turned out in the course of that discussion, we ended up with an unplanned and spontaneous booking to go to Kathirgamam as a family!!  It was a big group with my parents, mother-in-law, children and two nieces!!

The trip was filled with fascinating and myriad experiences. We landed in Colombo and immediately left for Galle, where we stayed overnight. Galle is a beautiful beach town. We spent time walking around the scenic town with natural rocks, gardens and Buddhist shrines overlooking the beach. After a good night’s rest, we left for Kathirgamam the next morning. It was a long but scenic journey by road and we took in all the experiences we had along the way, soaking in the stories of Murugan’s exploits that my father shared with us in his inimitable way.

Kathir means Light. Kamam means Love. The etymology also says that Kamam came from “gramam” meaning village and the place was called Kathirgamam by the Lankans to indicate that it was “The village where Lord Muruga was standing as Light”.

Unlike in India where one gets to see the deity in the sanctum sanctorum of the temples, in Sri Lankan tradition (in our experience, this is in Murugan Shrines only), the temple sanctum is covered by curtains that act as a “veil” to the deity inside. The prayers are offered inside where only the main priests are allowed and for the general public, the aaratis are performed to the pictures of the God, on the curtain – considered equally powerful.  It is the same in Kathirgamam as well. We can observe the image of Lord Muruga on the beautiful curtains. During the “mangala aarati”, the rhythm of the temple bells eas so powerful that it transported us to a different plane. One can really feel the energy in the air. The two snake-like bronze images also captured our attention. Being in the presence of Kathirgamam Murugan on our wedding anniversary was such a blessing and not something that can happen because of human planning.

The next day I had wanted to have a second darshan. However, Shiva had booked for the “Yala Safari” for the kids and wanted me to go with him and the kids.

Murugan with Vel
Murugan showing the way with his Vel as the leading light

I had read that Lord Muruga appeared in mysterious ways to the pilgrims who had taken the forest route in the past when it was still a dense jungle, and travel to Kathirgamam was possible only through the forests which were dotted by wild animals. The safari was interesting and the kids had a great time. We saw peacocks, pigs, deer, elephants, and even a leopard but what I deeply connected to was the strutting rooster (Seval in Tamil) that passed in front of our jeep and then disappeared into the bushes to our right, just as our safari was coming to a close. What are the chances that you will see a rooster in a forest safari?

rooster
Rooster (Seval)

“How cute was that Seval?” I asked my husband..as I broke out of my reverie!! The radio in the car was playing and just then, I heard the sound of a rooster crowing on the radio!!

Was I imagining all this? I wasn’t. It was actually the rooster crowing sound as part of a song that followed after. We were on the outskirts of Chennai and as I shook my head in disbelief, we saw a big billboard that read “Tamil Kadavul Murugan – Coming soon ‘STARTING OCT-2ND’. We rarely watch TV programs but a serial on Murugan seemed interesting.

Murugan tamil

My thoughts shifted again to the physical sensations and pain and just then, I saw another sign – in bright bold letters on an auto that read

Message

This message hit home deeply. Was all my pain going to result in some gain? What life-transforming outcome was I being led to through this serious examination of my physical and mental faculties?

On one of the days during the visit, I went to my uncle’s house. As we were talking, the sensations were back. When he asked me “How are you feeling?”, I replied “I am okay!” despite the discomfort. The sensations were overwhelming but my face did not reveal it as I had by now made up my mind that there are certain things in life that we have to face individually.

Soon as we returned home, I left for the Mylapore Kapaleeswar temple with my father. This temple premises also has a shrine for Murugan. The few minutes that I sat in the inner premises of the Murugan Shrine, I did not experience any pain or discomfort!! No sensations whatsoever!! I was feeling normal. But that did not last long. Once I left the shrine, things were the same again. We returned to Bangalore and I continued my routine and some assuring signs were constantly coming through.

Around this time, there was a Shirdi Baba temple inauguration at Sriperambudur by Mohanji which my parents and sister went for. This was also the time, we were asking my parents to move to Bangalore along with Radha and they had finally decided to make the move. When my mother met Mohanji at the temple, she sought his blessings and said “Mohanji, we are moving to Bangalore shortly”.  He responded enthusiastically “I am also coming there!”

Parents
My parents with Mohanji

I still did not know who Mohanji was but as my father was connected to him, out of curiosity, I had started reading the Atmananda blogs online. After my parents moved to Bangalore, I got the opportunity to visit him at the Boulevard Retreat for the first time in March, 2018.

When I went to his house and got the opportunity to speak to him, I said to him:

“I connect to you through the Atmananda blogs, but I haven’t taken your permission.”

His answer was succinct.

“It is like Prana (vital breath). Do you take permission to take Prana?”

The second time I got to meet him was on my father’s birthday in April that year. My father told me “I have prayed for you at Tiruchendur. We don’t have to trouble Mohanji about it!” I didn’t bring up the topic as discussed with him but at one point when there was a pause in the discussions, my mother prodded me from the back to share it with Mohanji.

Mohanji looked in my direction and asked “What?”

I started, “I experience rain drop sensation.”

He told me something that I had been waiting to hear for a long time.

“It is a good thing!”

The word, “good” brought so much mental relief.

“It is Ma Kundalini. Welcome her. Accept her!”, he continued and then added “You know Ida Pingala? (he knew that I knew all that!) It is like Alakananda and Bagirathi coming together.”

I replied, “The heating is too much!”

“Do Suryanamaskar and vertical breathing. Reduce your medicines!”

I knelt to take his blessings. He placed his thumb on my forehead and blessed me. (Now I know that I received Shaktipat but didn’t then).

With folded hands and connecting to my family deity, I received it. On our return, my anxious mother asked me if I felt something. I said, “Nothing!”

However, the next morning as I woke up and got out from the bed I felt the difference!! That strange pull that had been my unseen companion for the previous 10 months was gone! Every step I took, I felt the difference.  I conveyed this to my doctor that very day! I started to reduce the dosage and the heating also considerably reduced, and I finally stopped medicines completely in October. Life has flown by and now I only have “filtered” sensations once in a while.

With the blessings of Mohanji, I have been able to take up the Acharya training too which is another fascinating story for next time, on how Grace carries us forward!

Today, on my birthday when I think of why I drew the feet that day when I started having the sensations, I am sure I know the answer….

Guru Purnima Celebration Worldwide 2019

Mohanji’s Guru Purnima Message

“Dear Embodiments of love,

I wish you a very happy and fulfilling Guru Purnima. We have spoken about various aspects of existence over the year, so I don’t want to repeat quite a lot of the same stuff, but I would like to remind you about one important aspect as you walk the path of spirituality.

God as we perceive is pure consciousness – formless, pure energy, pure brightness. Your soul is pure brightness. It is the source of all elements, elements which have created the body i.e. earth, water, fire, air, space. All these elements have their source in the Soul or God which is the same. Soul is pure brightness, God is pure brightness, Guru who has attained, confirmed, merged or integrated into God is pure brightness. So Guru – Soul – God are more or less the same.

What do you see on Guru outside of you?

A reminder. A direction. A road map. That’s it. However, the more you connect with yourself, the brightness within you, the brightness which is your original state, that’s exactly when you actually connect to a Guru. And when you see that brightness in every being outside of you, then you see Guru in every being. So Guru is in every being. Guru is in everything.

Look at the source of all things. Even if it is anger, hatred, jealousy kind of thing or even if it is a feeling, a wind blowing, breeze, sounds… Look at the source of all things around you, you will understand that there is energy behind it. Without that energy, there is no movement, there is no aspect, there is no life.

This life is Guru. Energy behind all life is Guru. That’s the principle I would like you to remember today on Guru Purnima.”

Jai Mohanji, Pretoria East centre celebrated GuruPoornima today in honour of Our Beloved Brahmarishi Mohanji. We began with Guru Puja while offering white rice onto Baba’s paduka’s. After the Guru Puja, we chanted Mohanji’s Gayatri mantra.

In 2016, my Mosie passed away. She would have celebrated another birthday on July 16th. The days leading to the 13th day after her passing was spent listening to the normal Gayatri mantra which played continuously. After we did Mohanji’s Aarti, we were astounded as the Gayatri mantra started to play, and it wasn’t even next on the playlist.

Thank you Mohanji for always taking care. The energy from the puja and the chanting was amazing and left us feeling embodied in Mohanji’s love and light. Love you Mohanji, you hear us even when we say nothing.

RANDBURG

Mohanji Centre Randburg – Reported by Ami Hughes

Mohanji Centre – Randburg (MC-R) also observed Guru Poornima.

Due to this auspicious occasion falling on a work day for most of us, our programme was set for 6 pm.

What a magnificent blessing it was to participate in the sacred event, saturated in our Beloved Mohanji’s Grace and Love.

Six people attended, including hosts Mr and Mrs Oliver and Julie Reddy, Surika, Priscilla and Megan.

As we settled in and became quieter, we could feel the unmistakable Presence of Love hugging us, so silk smooth soft.

Everyone there was beautifully present.

We opened with invocation, and flowed into the 108 chants of Mohanji Gayathri.

It was a Heart and Soul slow rhythmic chant which steadily built up a vortex of swirling sacred Energy. It blanketed the whole shrine. The whole atmosphere began to pulse with the heightening frequencies of the chanting. We were in the Powerful Arms of our Guru and the mighty Datta Tradition He represents.

Our Pada Puja followed – led by Mohanji Acharya Ami.

All of us made offerings of rice grains – soaked in Gratitude, and our Thanks and Love – to the Holy Lotus Feet of our Beloved Guru – Mohanji.

Ami also chanted the Mohanji Saranam Ashtakam and read the English meaning to add impetus, and ended our Pada Puja with the chanting of the Mohanji Kavacham.

Now we were ready for the Freedom Meditation.

What a sweet experience it was – a taste of Celestial Nectar – in the heart-melting voice of our Mohanji.

It was a deeply moving experience, touching each one to the core.

We were literally flying as we did Aarthi in conclusion of our Guru Poornima celebration.

All Praise and Thanks to You Mohanji – our Beloved SadhGuru.

We know Your physical form, but can only guess at Your operating levels beyond form – and still we would fall far, far short in our imaginings of just Who and What You are.

Happy Guru Poornima Mohanji – from MC-R

LADYSMITH

Reported by Salona and Sholane Surjoo

In celebration of Guru Purnima and gratitude to Guru Brahmarishi Mohanji, Megatude Education Centre in Ladysmith hosted a kids art session and Freedom meditation. 16 little ones joined in for a combination of art and meditation for kids has been in my heart and thoughts for a little while now so what a better day to start than on Guru Purnima. The kids were first asked to draw a picture from their imagination followed by Freedom meditation and then again afterwards drew another picture. There were distinct differences in the art work before and after meditation. The use of more colour, bigger brighter drawings and more creative pictures were made after the meditation. The kids had more confidence and peer interaction afterwards. Most of these kids experienced meditation for the first time, yet they were able to sit the entire ten minutes of the Freedom meditation.

Meditation, Chanting, and Pure Bliss

Reena lovingly opened her home to celebrate this beautiful occasion of Guru Purnima.

After seva, we all joined in to commence with aarti at 6pm.

Invocation chants followed by 108 chants of Mohanji’s Gayatri Mantra. The Freedom Meditation followed and all soaked into deep gratitude and an over flow of emotions while we meditated on the sound track of “Aum Shree Bhagwan, Shree Brahmarishi Mohanji, Namah Aum”, sang by Natesh.

This left everyone in the room feeling so blessed and in gratitude to Mohanji, to Guru for everything.

We then continued by singing along to a beauty version of the Hanuman Chalisa and concluded with aarti.

Everyone part took in the prasad and meals prepared by Reena before leaving.

PUNE

The Mohanji family of Pune commenced their Guru Poornima celebration at Mohanji ka Aangan with prayers and chanting. The tiny tots enraptured everyone with their fluently spoken Sanskrit words. We also cut a cale baked in our very own Saima bakery. The best part of the evening was the small skit enacted by the children on the importance of education in everyone’s lives.
On this auspicious day, we distributed to all the children, their second set of uniforms. After that, food sewa was done in the slum.
A group chanting ensued Shiva Kavacham and Aarti.
It was a blissful and a blessed day.
Love and gratitude to all the members and especially the volunteers who are teaching the children so beautifully.
Thank you Mohanji for making us eligible to walk this path and spread your teachings and love.

MALAYSIA

On Sunday 14 July 2019, a group of us from Mohanji family, Satya Sai Baba , Shirdi Baba and Agasthiar followers gathered in Kuala Lumpur to celebrate Guru Purnima, a day to pay homage to our gurus who have given us so much and continue to give and love us unconditionally, guiding and protecting us in our soul journey.

The day started with Aarti performed by the owner of the house. Each took turns to perform abishegam on the padukas of Mohanji and Shirdi Babas murthy. It was a beautiful sight to behold as each person lovingly poured milk (vegan) and offered flowers.

The chanting of AUM charged up the whole space . The chanting of Rudram by our young Satya Sai Baba devotee really touched me to the core. Bhajans were rendered individually by the youngest of 10 years old to the oldest amongst us of 74 years old. Such angelic and lovely voicest filling the air with so much devotion and love.During Aarti, I felt tears flowing remembering how Mohanji had remained in my life holding my hands through thick and thin and with so much unconditional love despite the little I give in return.

Malaysia - Guru Purnima 2019 - Mohanji

Mohanji’s presence was felt very strongly and two persons had also felt the presence of Satya Sai Baba as the abishegam on Shirdi Baba’s murthy was performed with the gayari mantra chanted by Satya Sai Baba in the background.

The owner of the house was so happy this day as he had long harboured the desire of us holding a celebration at his new house. It so happened that our centre was being used for some work project and we had to find another location for the celebration. Mohanji hears us all the time and grants us our deepest desires.

SERBIA

NOVI SAD

In Novi Sad, on the day of light when we express gratitude and respect to spiritual teachers, Guru principle in us and to the Tradition, Guru Purnima was celebrated in Datta Tapovan centre.

We listened to Mohanji’s Guru Purnima message and afterwards we dived into “Power of Purity” meditation. We changed Mohanji Gayatri mantru 108 times and during the sacred song of gratitude (aratija) we opened our heart and expressed our deep gratitude towards Mohanji as well as all masters of Datta tradition, for their guidance on the path towards liberation, for their sontinuous presence, protection and immeasurable love they give us.

While reading the key messages from “SHri Sai Satcharithra” about Shirdi Sai Baba, through tears we were reminded what a blessing it is to meet Guru in this life, as well as to be in Mohanji’s physical presence, Master in his physical body.

Serbia - Novi Sad - Guru PUrnima 2019 - Mohanji - Datta Tapovan

In Belgrade about 20 of us gathered. The evening was opened by Nikolina Dragojevic, Mohanji Acharya, who has spent this year in India.

As grateful for the blessing that Mohanji is our Guru, as for all other masters, we started “Bliss of Silence meditation”. After the meditation, we received Mohanji energy transfer and went on to chant Mohanji Gayatri mantra 108 times. During the chanting, we breathed as One.

Throughout the evening, Mohanji’s presence could be felt. It was the most tangible during the energy transfer when tears of bliss, deep gratitude and laughter occurred.

We left after Aarati, bathed in love and energised.

UNITED KINGDOM

16th July 2019. Guru Poornima. A much awaited auspicious day for all disciples to express their gratitude to their Guru.
This was a day filled with devotion and love for Mohanji and spent in utmost joy in the consciousness of Mohanji by Mohanji UK family. Many devotees participated all day, half day or even for sometime during the day at the venue in Pinner where the special event was being celebrated.
The day begun with M UK family gathering up from 5:30 am onwards, setting up the altar and commencing the auspicious ritual with Aarati at 6 am.
Then everyone presented, offered their gratitude to Mohanji through Paaduka puja amidst the chant of Guru Paaduka Shloka sung by devotees, followed by Mohanji Ashtottari (108) name chanting.
All present devotees were Kriya initiates! Doing Kriya together after such powerful chanting and Paaduka puja was a powerhouse experience! With UK Summer morning Sunshine brightening up the room, it felt like “Sata Sahasra Surya” (100 thousand Sun) Mohanji’s power gracing all.

After scrumptious homemade vegan South Indian breakfast, the programme continued with Bhajan singing.
One after another after another, all devotees were completely merged into the ocean of devotion through the bhajan singing, which soon turned into the act of merging into Guru’s raasa leela, everyone getting up on their feet, deep into Conscious Dancing. Needless to say that everyone felt Mohanji sitting in the chair laughing with them, cheering them and being with everyone in every moment. Mohanji’s fragrance had completely mesmerised everyone.
Immediately after the noon Arati, everyone’s joy knew know limit to watch the Live telecast of Mohanji’s satsang straight from Bangalore. During this time more people kept joining us.

United Kingdom - Guru Purnima 2019 - Mohanji
After vegan lunch, the satsang amongst the devotees continued. Experience sharing was so powerful that all had tears, laughters, all shades of emotions showing their gratitude and love for Mohanji who has brought so much joy in everyone’s life.
It was heartening to see a particular family turning up with their specially-abled child currently going through even challenging serious condition. Mohanji’s grace on this family have been so immense. They have physically never met, but through Consciousness and through Mai Tri the family has come in the shield of protection of Mohanji. When the family walked in and the child was put on the sofa, which was right in front of Mohanji’s chair, no one sitting in between. The powerful grace and healing power from Mohanji was flowing to the child, a silent but powerful communion happening between them.
As we progressed towards afternoon, going for the evening Aarati, more people kept coming in to be part of this celebration. More singing, more dancing, just joy all around!
Mohanji’s presence without His physical presence was so strong, everyone felt as if Mohanji is physically sitting with us. More than 13 hours passed like 13 seconds! It was a day of heightened spirit in the consciousness of Mohanji.
Everyone’s face, their body language showed the eternal joy in unconditional love for Mohanji.
It’s actually beyond comprehension to express how Mohanji showered His love to all His devotees in the whole time!
The pictures may be able to express a tiny bit.

USA

VIRGINIA

The Guru Poornima celebration at the Mohanji USA center in Virginia started early morning with Guru Pooja – offering of flowers at padukas to the chanting of Mohanji Ashtotri (108 names), followed by aarati at 6.00 am. We then offered pooja to Shirdi Sai Moorti and padukas with chanting of Sai Potrigal, a beautiful set of 108 names of Sai Baba in Tamil. The morning worship ended just in time for our group to join the Satsang with Mohanji which was relayed live from Bangalore.

It was indeed a wonderful blessing that Mohanji appeared along with Devi Amma to bless all of us far and wide around the globe. The Divya Jyoti or effulgence from the Guru has no boundaries of time and space and permeates all over emanating bliss and joy and grace!

At our altar in Virginia, a pale orb of hazy light appeared on one of Mohanji’s photos. With a variety of images showing up on the photo, we could only think that it was a symbol of Shiva-Shakti manifestation, with the right side near the forehead reflecting vibhuti (holy ash) and the left side reflecting yellowish hue representing turmeric used in the worship of the supreme mother Goddess. The picture is shared below (The first one was taken in the morning after aarti when the images appeared, and the second one taken later in the evening which appears clear of any hue. We had not wiped the surface of the frame!)

After the Satsang, all those who had gathered in the celebration earlier, joined together to cook meals to take to a nearby homeless shelter. We prepared vegetable rice and mixed lentil soup and carried with us some water bottles and fruits. As I walked out of the house carrying the tray of rice pulao, it slipped and just fell from my hands. It was a moment where I was stunned at what just happened, however; it was indeed a blessing because the tray hit the floor in such a way that some grains fell out just enough for the birds to feed upon, and rest of the tray was intact. It was truly an amazing moment.

As it was getting late for us, I just left the dropped food on the pavement and drove to the shelter, thinking I can move it to the grass area when I get back because the pavement in the area is always clean.

The Lamb Center in Fairfax, Virginia, is a daytime drop-in for the poor and the homeless in the area. We had expected to just drop off the food which is normally served by the organization’s volunteers. However, when we arrived, the staff from the center welcomed us and showed us around the center about the various activities that they offer to the needy in the local community. This opened an opportunity for us to talk about Mohanji Foundation and all our activities that can benefit the community as well. Mohanji was present throughout the program because we ended up with a detailed discussion and the lovely lady who spent quite a bit of time with us, promised to organize a meeting with other members of their board to find ways for us to collaborate with them. Another sign of Mohanji’s presence without presence.

US - Guru Purnima 2019 - Virginia - Mohanji

After we left the shelter, my mind went back to the pavement and the rice that had fallen earlier. I was thinking, I must clean up the pavement and remove the vegetable rice fallen on the pavement to the front yard grassy area. Upon reaching back home, lo and behold, there was not a grain of rice or vegetable on the ground. The birds and squirrels had wiped them clean. With deep gratitude to the acceptance of the annadhan (food offering), we all came home and sat together and had a quick lunch to allow at least 2 hours before the start of the eclipse, even though it was not visible here.

After lunch, we once again sat together and listened to Mohanji’s Guru Poornima message and soaked in the energy of Devi Amma’s beautiful chants which segued smoothly into our chanting session at the start of the eclipse. We started with the Mahamrityunjaya mantra for an hour followed by Sai Nama and Mohanji Gayatri. The impalpable energy that emanated from this group chanting was extraordinary.

As the program progressed, more people joined. We also connected the event on zoom for people out of state to tune in. The chanting was followed by bhajans. In addition to our usual Sanskrit bhajans, Lauren rendered a soul-stirring native American prayer which touched all our hearts.

We concluded the day with group Consciousness Kriya and followed it with the Power of Purity Meditation. Mohanji’s energy transfer during POP meditation was extremely intense. Everyone who received it was overwhelmed with the intensity of the grace.

My mother who is visiting from Chennai prepared all the prasadam – offering to the Guru – during the day for each of the offerings before aarathi at 6 am, 12 pm and 6 pm.

Dhyaana moolam guror murtih; Pooja moolam guror padam;

Mantra moolam guror vakyam; Moksha moolam guror kripa.

(The basis of meditation is the form of the Guru, real worship is of the feet of the Guru, the basis of mantra is the word of the Guru and the bestowal of liberation is only through the Grace of the Guru) – Guru Stotram, Skanda Puran.

3. Maheshwari Mohanji

A few years ago, before meeting my beloved Guru Mohanji, I did not understand the true meaning of Guru Purnima. And although one can never fully understand Guru or the auspiciousness of such a day, i am truly grateful to Mohanji for walking into our lives and switching on the light.

Before meeting Mohanji, spiritual Masters were only known to me in scriptures. I could not imagine what it would be like to meet a living master, one who walks with you, loves you unconditionally, has no ego, pride, jealousy or any negative quality. One who lives for the world, selflessly, and asks nothing from anyone.
To me, the only One who has these qualities is my beloved Shiva. But to see Him, walk with Him in a human form was something out of this world.

Before meeting Mohanji, i have never met any human being who was so selfless, God-like, divine and especially anyone who really didn’t expect or ask anything from me.

So, the auspiciousness of Guru Purnima was not something I celebrated. I could not understand how any human being could make such a positive, selfless impact on another and that too, without asking anything in return,  no money, “guru fees”, nothing. As I mentioned before, only Lord Shiva had these qualities. He is my ultimate Master, my God and my Guru. So on days like this when people revered their Gurus, i would just give thanks to Shiva.

I can not describe nor explain the gratitude in my heart to even know such a being as Mohanji. And on this day and always, i give utter most thanks and gratitude to Guru for His presence in my life, for so much positive change, for emptying me of so much of negative stored emotions, for so much that i am not even aware of. And that too, He showed me that Yes, a real Guru can walk into your life, as a normal human being and help you(not only in scriptures).

The truth of His presence without presence

one with god

On this auspicious day of Guru Poornima, Mahesh shares with us a beautiful experience which yet again confirmed Mohanji’s presence in the Datta Tapovan ashram in Canada, although He was physically thousands of miles away.

The truth of His presence without presence

By Mahesh Bhalerao, Canada

The Datta Tapovan ashram was glowing. Mohanji was coming!  We were filled with so much joy. We did have our share of nervousness, but that nervousness was good, trying to keep everything perfect and in order for Mohanji’s arrival.

Tapovan Canada

Before Mohanji came, so many divine beings were making their presence felt too. One such unforgettable incident was when we felt Kamadhenu’s presence, though at that point we mistook it for cow dung smell!

Well, finally Mohanji came. We felt as if the brightness and warmth of the sun were appearing after a long, cold and dark, winter night. Yes, Mohanji filled whole the ashram with uncontainable and unlimited joy. Divine love flourished in every heart. 15 magical days filled with divinity. The sun rose, the sun set. But we remained awake in Mohanji’s Consciousness, in His love, 24/7.

Mahesh

Then the dreadful day came. It was time for Mohanji to go back. Other devotees in other parts of the world were waiting, His mission continues, the Avadhoota’s journey continues.

But how can my heart understand?  Greedy? Sadly, Yes. The heart didn’t want to bear the separation. The Master of my heart, Mohanji knew everything. Nothing is hidden from Him. He hears the cry coming out of each heart-beat.

He told me,

“Bhalerao, when I leave from here, don’t think that I am gone. Only my body will be gone. I will be here in the ashram, always.”

He left. I kept holding on to my faith, Mohanji is here, sitting on this chair, walking in this room, sleeping on this bed. I felt Mohanji continuing to be here with us.

Mohanji in Canada

Every morning and evening I kept doing the aarati, cleaning His room, making His bed, exactly how I used to do when He was here physically. That day, I continued the evening ritual.

In the evening when I went to the laundry room to do some laundry, suddenly I could smell the strong fragrance of Mohanji’s perfume. It has been more than a week since Mohanji had left; none of His clothes was in the laundry. In a room which normally smells of washing powder or bleach, getting the strong perfume smell of Mohanji was a clear indication that Mohanji was here, right next to me.

Then later, after finishing Sai Baba’s aarati, I went upstairs to Mohanji’s room, lit the lamp, made His bed and did pranaam at the chair where He used to sit while staying at the ashram, exactly how I used to do earlier.

canada pic

Just when I touched my head on the floor, Mohanji appeared! Yes, Mohanji appeared. I could clearly see Him, wearing His blue tank top and orange dhoti, sitting on the chair and smiling at me.

I burst out crying like a child. I cried and cried. I was crying not because I was missing Him. I was crying because He was proving to silly me that He was still here, very much here, even though physically He was thousands of miles away.

One thing is for sure, whatever Mohanji says, He always keeps His promises. He told me that He will be here in the ashram, and He proved this to me not just once but many times. And not just to me, even to others. You have already read Sanjay bhai’s story of how he saw Mohanji’s foot impression on the feet cushion.

positivity

His leelas are incomprehensible, unimaginable but magical. His love is truly unconditional and His compassion is beyond this world. How can I express my gratitude to you Mohanji, for your love? I can only bow my head down with complete surrender and remain at your feet always and forever.

The art of seeing rainbows at night

By Urav and Sandra Sankar

It’s like being aboard a rocket cruiser named ‘Master of the Universe’, where having no expectations is the only thing that’s going to take you to warp speed and inter-dimensional travel.

In meditation, we are able to leave this so-called reality and race into the so-called unknown. In dance, we lose our mind amidst cosmic spirals of ecstatic bliss. In walking, we connect to the integral nature of the Self, to the heartbeat of Shakti Maa. We are blessed with so many gifts to gather on this bountiful path of liberation, making life lighter, brighter and happier.

In this world, the big thing is ‘fearlessness’. A picture of a typical Amazon Warrior pops into my head. No. That’s too limiting. Let’s just say that this feels more like being a fearless Warrior of Love and Light. In this beautiful life, that Light is Mohanji. Check that. The darkness is all Mohanji too. In the absence of duality, we find Mohanji. Everything is Mohanji.

So, there is nothing to be scared of, right? Our beloved Parabrahma says ‘I am with you. Keep walking.’ Yes, we also run, jump, swoop, dive and leap with carefree abandon. In doing so we acclimatise to fateful and fearless truths that awareness brings to the table. We begin to flow through the tests and curves that life deals out.

This is all our beloved Mohanji’s grace. Nothing can stop karma. Only beloved Mohanji’s grace can. Contemplate on the waves of karmic providence that created the circumstances that brought us here. To this point. This timeline. To exactly this time-space continuum. Frankly, this feels very much like surfing. Low waves, high waves, sometimes outright tsunamis!

No worry when our beloved Mohanji is here. The great sobering lesson that grows on you is complete humility. Every breath becomes thank you, thank you, thank you, beloved Mohanji. Humbled gratitude to You for all the ‘saves’ not just in this life but all lives.

Guru’s light is like an exquisite prism of conscious revelation. Such is the grace of a timely breath swooping ‘reveal’ of the Absolute by Mother Divine. Our Mohanji’s canvas of innumerable colours illuminates every facet of our lives.

A few nights ago, our young son saw the beautiful outline of a form draped in hues of different rays of light, standing next to his bed. The colours that dominated the spectrum were red, yellow and blue. The astral form of our beloved Parabrahma also had three dark stripes of red, yellow and blue across the forehead and both feet.

This was part of the long-distance Mai-Tri Method healing. The healer was in a different timeline in another part of the world. What an exquisite truth! Consciousness has no distance. Call Mohanji. He comes. Think of Mohanji. He is there! Always present!

Think of our mind like a switch that goes off and on. When we switch off our mind, we experience the glory of Mohanji in 360 degrees. Children do that naturally. A few days later, our son caught sight of a rainbow and said that was exactly what he saw that night.

Unity in Oneness

By Dragana Tešanović

bosnian pyramids
A view of the Bosnian Pyramids

During the last several days of the program on the Bosnian Pyramids in 2019, I was feeling quite confused. Everything was so overwhelming for me as it seemed that there were so many people with whom I did not interact. Until now I did not understand that Mohanji brings all of His people (by saying His people, I mean people who are connected to His consciousness) with Him no matter where and how distant they are physically. As I realized this, I remembered several other occasions when He was on some pilgrimage and I had a feeling that I was there with Him.

I want to share one such experience. I have to start from the very beginning as His ways are very mysterious. It was the year 2018. In January I had to pass my academic writing exam. There were several themes to write about. I chose to write about a theme with the title, ‘What would I change if I had a time machine?’ Naturally, I wrote that I am proud of everything that happened in my past and if it did not happen, I would not be here now. I also wrote that if I had a time machine, I would like to return to my mother`s womb, because that is the only place where I would feel secure and carefree. This is because I do not feel as secure now as I should be. The only thing I know is that I wrote the essay from the bottom of my heart without any expectations.

virgin mary
Virgin Mary – Ukraine

Two months later, I received the call to go and visit the greatest sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin Mary (Shakti manifestation) in Ukraine, which was very affordable for me at that time. At the very same time, Mohanji was on a pilgrimage to Machu Picchu (Shakti place). What makes this place in Ukraine so powerful is the spring from which water started flowing when Mother Mary descended from the heights and touched the stone with her feet.

Besides this, the most interesting thing is that there is a cave in which a saint called Jov spent 20-30 years in silence, and guess what – the cave is in the shape of a womb, and it can hold only up to 4 people at one time. It is a place which the orthodox Christians usurped as their own. In this cave, I witnessed that beyond duality there is only oneness. So the trip was heavy.

There was only one person who knew me on the bus, and after several hours I started feeling the pressure of odd looks that I received. I was looked upon strangely as I did yoga, meditated, so on and so forth. Some of them approached me with the speech that these things I was doing were not good…blah, blah. So my mind started receiving the info about how my path was wrong. It was not easy for me to stay firm and stable around 60 other souls looking upon me like a possessed person, hahaha.

Mohanji

I just held Mohanji`s hand and was calling out to Him during the entire trip. I said to myself, “Ok, this is just one of His leelas. I know that this path is my life and I will wait for the confirmation as a witness.”

I visited a few other places of high energy before I entered the cave on the last day. People shared some stories that the cave would let you in and out if you are not possessed or something like that, and it won’t let you go out if you have great sins. Terrifying stories. I have to be honest, for a moment I was a bit frightened.

What happened next was mind-blowing! Even though there was a queue in front of the cave, when it was my turn to enter, I somehow ended up alone there. So there was only one thought with which I entered the cave, but I received much more. The thought was, “Please, let this path be the one for me.”

After several seconds, Saint Jov, whose presence one can tangibly feel inside this cave, became one with Mohanji and showed me that separation only exists within the mind. To my surprise, my awareness also lifted beyond the dual mind and I felt like I was one with them. I felt everything around me was part of me at that moment. Then I realized that my every heartbeat radiates a certain vibration, and if my heart radiates purity, the same thing will show outside (as within, so without) and vice versa. That realization gave me the strength to follow my path, the path of pathlessness. The path of unconditional love, non-violence, kindness, compassion, goodness, and companionship.

I am so grateful to Mohanji, without whom all of this would be impossible to realize. Before Mohanji, every breath of mine was a struggle. Now He empowers me to live my life purposefully and adds more meaning to it. And yes, when He says that He is with us, He really is. The only difference is in the mind. We think from the mind that the connection is lost. But Mohanji dwells within our hearts.

Thank you Mohanji. I surrender everything to you. I love you, through each and everyone as per my capacity.

Transformation by divine guidance

By Reena Kumar

Mohanji_on_Positivity

Salutations to my Guru, who is an infinite ocean of compassion, grace, and bliss. Mohanji showers His grace 24×7 on everyone, everywhere. Mohanji has transformed us completely by His grace. Now, all the concepts, fears and stresses have vanished. He has taught me to flow through life and accept the person and situation as it is without complaining.

Earlier I wrote about how my son got decent marks in his 10th standard examination, in spite of having an accident. Even after the 10th standard, his attitude towards studies was casual. His present school knew about his carelessness. So the school didn’t want to give him admission to the 11th standard. But again, a miracle took place. By Mohanji’s grace, they agreed to give him admission. At the Parent-Teacher meetings, I was told again and again about the conduct of my son towards studies because he never completed his homework on time and he used to delay submitting his projects too. Annoyed by his pattern of indifference and carelessness, we scolded him and told him to be diligent and sincere.

That night, Mohanji appeared in his teacher’s dream. She has never met Mohanji. She told me how Mohanji came in a white kurta-pyjama and instructed her to take special care of my son. It was an early morning dream. We were left speechless by this dream. Our Mohanji deeply cares for each one of us around the clock.

We were getting complaints from the school regarding my son constantly. Every day we used to sit and explain to him. He got very few marks in his class test. Yet another night, we got so frustrated, we shouted at him. And later we started crying as there was no improvement in his class test score.

That night, Freedom meditation was published. We strongly felt it as a gift from Mohanji for children and their parents who were going through the same situation us. We hoped our son would benefit from it too. Mohanji is our ‘Sankat Mochan’ (name of Lord Hanumanji). Whenever we are gloomy, Mohanji reaches out to us either through a dream or in the form of a message. But the whole year passed and my son couldn’t clear his 11th standard.

In the report card of the 11th Standard (grade), it was written that he will be retained in the same class. I requested the Principal to give him a retest to help him clear the exams. Even after the retest, he was short of a few marks. Through Mohanji’s leela, from being retained in the same class, the report card was now changed to retest.

We went to many schools seeking admission, but no school was ready to take him. Again, I requested the Principal to write in the transfer certificate that my son should be promoted to the 12th class. The Principal agreed but it was suggested that retests should be conducted by the new school. We went to 14 schools, but they all said that the old school should do the retest. Now we were exhausted. The new session of the 12th class had already started since March and now it was the month of May. My son was not able to get admission and he was lagging behind by two months. Construction work was just completed at my place and this long search for admission into a school left us totally drained out.

My son was longing to meet Mohanji. It so happened that Mohanji was there at Dr. Wasir’s place. It was a golden opportunity for us and I thanked Dr. Wasir for contacting us. Mohanji said, “Your son was missing me badly. So I gave this thought to Doctor, to call you.” Mohanji is our Vighnaharta, another name for Lord Ganesha who removes obstacles. Our Avadhoota said, “10th was good and 12th will be good.” This sentence of Mohanji helped us sail smoothly in the middle of this turmoil.

Deep inside my heart, I had firm faith that my son will get admission into the 12th standard, sooner or later. After hopping from one school to the other, my son was still not able to get admission anywhere. So someone suggested to him, “Why don’t you repeat your 11th standard?”  But the boy was adamant on not repeating. To save his one year, we thought of changing the board (of studies to which a school is affiliated). My son was in a school that followed the Haryana state board pattern. We thought of shifting him from Haryana to some other state, or from CBSE to Haryana Board, or from science stream to Arts, but all in vain.

At last, by the divine leela of Mohanji, he got admission in a school which was hardly three kilometers from our house. My son’s attitude changed. He became sincere and polite. Mohanji has transformed my son totally. He’s a new person, always positive in all the aspects.

Mohanji_on_self correction

Let any situation happen in your life no matter what people say. Whatever blockages are there, our Mohanji will remove them. Follow hundred percent whatever He tells us. He knows us better than we know ourselves. Never let the monkey mind come in between you and your Guru. Destiny brings the Master and the mind takes him/her away. Keep your Guru firmly in your heart. We are not the doer. Surrender at the lotus feet of Mohanji. He will deliver at the right time, at the right place. Gratitude is a very small word to describe the divine leela and grace of Mohanji.

We are in His divine protection always. May my family and I be at the lotus feet of our Mohanji till our last breath. Infinite gratitude every second to our Mohanji for blessing, awakening, guiding and transforming us! Koti koti pranaams Mohanji!

Jai Jai Mohanji!

Yatra with Mohanji

By Ulla, Denmark

Yatra with Mohanji – a song of gratitude offered to my dear Mohanji, on this blessed occasion of Guru Poornima, 16th July 2019.

The video for this song prepared by dear Neelu, here.

About a year ago I was visiting the Somaskanda Ashram in the Swiss Alps. Mohanji had participated in the inauguration of the Temple Murtis there in the previous year.

Having a dinner conversation with two of the Brothers, we talked about Mohanji, whom none of us had the opportunity to meet yet. Until then I had only read a few of His blogs but never thought of meeting Him. Now I felt a growing urge to connect with Mohanji, to see Him in person. For the rest of my stay in the Ashram, every day at every puja, I would see Mohanji standing in the Gopurum next to the Somaskanda Murti which consists of a huge Lingam and three Naags. First I thought it was an act of my imagination, but I felt a connection was being established.

When I asked how I could meet Mohanji, people said: “Don’t worry, just wait until next Summer, then He will probably visit the UK again.” But I felt there was no time to waste, that I was not going to sit and wait for things to happen. That is why I went to India for a retreat with Mohanji in Rishikesh. That was the beginning of a journey beyond my imagination.

At the retreat, I met a part of the Mohanji community from around the world, but one thing they had in common was that they all seemed very authentic, natural, loving and unassuming.

Was it the satsangs, the Shaktipat or the mere presence of a Master? I am not able to say what happened, but my life has changed drastically. A lot of stuff has fallen away, relationships, people, fears and anxieties. But, so many blessings have followed in the form of awareness, strong sense of purpose, love and connection to Mohanji, and to the Mohanji global family.

My wish is to share His gift of consciousness, love, and awareness with all the people I meet. On the day of Guru Poornima, we celebrate our connection to the Master. It is my humble wish that this music may become a means for us to always remember you Mohanji, always surrender everything at your feet and realize that we are inseparable.

I have never composed a song before. Since I uttered my wish to learn to compose music, things took shape at rocket speed. Two weeks ago one morning, words came to me and a poem happened, and in the afternoon the melody came. The next day I went to a friend’s house where we put some chords together and she told me about a friend hers, who has a recording studio in his flat. A few people have been involved, some came by and dropped out again due to the deadline and other people replaced them, but the doors remained always open.

So fasten your seat belts when Mohanji is behind the wheel. This shows His efficient manner of getting things done.

Please click below to hear the song.

The process of making this song has been such pure bliss. Thank you for making it possible, dear Mohanji.
Love you always
Ulla

Mohanji and my Mother

On the auspicious day of Guru Poornima, Jyoti Bahl offers her gratitude for Mohanji by narrating this heart touching story of how Mohanji had fulfilled her mother’s each and every wish before she took her last breath.

Mohanji and my Mother

By Jyoti Bahl, India

A Guru is comparable to the Sun; he spreads the light of liberation. Anyone who comes into his presence can benefit from it. A Guru is the face of God. Your real Guru is always God Himself. He is the power who guides your spiritual efforts. He is always with you as your true self and your inner witness.  To have Mohanji as our Sathguru is definitely because of good karma from previous lives. He does so much for all of us and we selfish humans forget everything. My life is full of Baba Sai’s and Mohanji’s experiences. It’s all because of Baba Sai that I have Mohanji as my Guru. Since Mohanji entered my life, I don’t feel lonely as I feel Him every moment. It’s not only a feeling, He actually proves His presence to me whenever I feel helpless, or when I’m in a bad situation. In my previous blogs, I have already mentioned how Mohanji saved the lives of my father, son, and even me! How can I define the glory of my Gurudev, who is like the vast ocean?

mohanji photo

This year, i.e. 2019, Mohanji gave me many indications personally and through dreams about the problem which was coming up in my life. In March 2019, I was able to meet Mohanji. That meeting was truly blissful as I got the chance to listen to Bhaja Govindam by Sri Jagatguru Adi Shankaracharya, in Mohanji’s powerful voice. Bhaja Govindam contains the essence of Vedanta, and implores man to think, why am I here in this life? Why am I gathering wealth and family, but have no peace? What is the truth? What is the purpose of life? The person who is awakened gets set on a path back to the God Principle. While listening to this bhajan in Mohanji’s voice, I was in tears. I didn’t want to come out of that blissful moment. The translation of every verse given by Mohanji was going into each cell of mine.

bhaja_govindam

I later realised the reason why I was singing these verses. Actually, Mohanji told me about detachment through Bhaja Govindam. At the end of March, my mother was detected with fourth stage cancer, which was no less than a nightmare for all of us. Before this, I used to have dreams about Mohanji very often, in which He used to call Mother near Him to bless her.  These dreams started in Jan 2019. For the last few months, Mother had wanted to meet Mohanji, but it hadn’t been possible due to some reason or the other.

mohanji liberation

I used to tell my Mother about my astral meeting with Him. I met Mohanji at the end of March and in the same month, got a chance to visit Shirdi as well. After I came back from Shirdi, I got to know about my Mother’s condition. And then I felt the power of Sathguru Mohanji, as He gave me so much strength to deal with a problem which was next to impossible for an ordinary person like me. With His motivation, I was prepared to give my Mother quality time as all the doctors told us that her fourth stage cancer was not curable.

Mohanji asked me to contact a particular doctor and also gave me Lord Dattatreya‘s healing mantra for my mother. From the very first day Mohanji sent Dr Harpreet Wasir into our lives, he guided us at every step related to my Mother’s health. Many doctors were suggesting chemo. But I didn’t want my Mother to go through it as she had always been a very lively person. One day in my prayers, I surrendered to Baba Sai and Mohanji completely and within a few minutes, I got a call from Dr Wasir saying that Mother need not go for chemo and he also added that let the doctors say anything. I was in such peace after listening to him. Just as I was praying to Mohanji for the same thing, Baba gave a message to one of my friends that my Mother’s life expectancy was very short, and we just have to give maximum love to the soul.

blessing

My Mother’s first amazing experience was when she went for a PET scan. She was a little scared during the test so she closed her eyes and called to Mohanji. Within seconds, Mohanji was standing in front of her along with Baba, and in the same blessing position which I used to see often in my dreams. After her PET scan, my Mother told me about her experience and asked me if Mohanji wears kurta and dhoti. She gave me the description of His footwear also. I was amazed to hear that as she had never met Mohanji personally, yet gave me His full description. When Mohanji physically came to give her His darshan, she told Him that He was wearing the same costume as when He gave her darshan astrally. Mohanji told her that He was going to wear a T-shirt with jeans, but just to make her realize that He actually came to bless her, He wore that.  He told her that she has a heart to heart connection with Him. As her call for Him was so strong, He had to come to her to fulfil her main desire. When she told Him about Baba Sai and Mohanji coming together during her PET scan, Mohanji mentioned that a son can’t be separated from his father. All masters are one and it was actually proved to me when so many divine souls, Baba Sai, Mohanji and Mohanji’s family came to visit Mother.

Mohanji actually took very good care of my Mother and she didn’t even get to know that she had fourth stage cancer. It was a continuous prayer to Baba Sai and Mohanji and due to that, she was full of life till her last breath. To have a living Guru in our lives is the biggest asset and without letting us know even a bit, He does so much for us. And I started feeling Him more in my Mother as she had become complete love. I was seeing Divine Mother in her and more of Mohanji in her. In such a state, she was blessing and giving love to everyone, and Mohanji’s family was witness to it, as they often used to come to meet her. When my Mother started getting blood in her stools, it became a cause of worry, as she was feeling very weak. The doctor told us that she had a life expectancy of 6 to 12 weeks. But the most surprising thing was that she didn’t have any kind of pain. The people who used to visit her were surprised as she was always smiling, full of love and life without any pains.

When I saw her in this state, suddenly Mohanji’s voice started echoing in my ears.

“I’m doing what I can.”

One day I was shocked when I received a personal message from Neelu that Mohanji had taken on my Mother’s pain. It was shared in the global group by Preeti Di. But during that time, I was not checking my WhatsApp messages due to my busy schedule. As soon as I read about Mohanji’s condition, I was in tears as He was having problems in His lungs the same as my Mother. I couldn’t control myself and called up Preeti Di to know about Mohanji’s condition.  The first thing she told me was about the blood in the stools, and I was speechless. My Mother had blood in her stools three times, and the exact same thing had happened with Mohanji too. I couldn’t stop crying. I hadn’t said anything to Mohanji and just by connecting to His consciousness, He got to know and took everything on Himself.

There is a big misconception that whosoever gets a chance to be with Mohanji physically is very fortunate. Indeed, they are very fortunate. But I really want to tell those souls that Mohanji actually works more in consciousness. From the beginning, He’s trying to tell each one of us to get connected to His consciousness, as we internalize through that process. As a true Guru, He always guides us to go within and become independent in every aspect.

experience-and-mind

Mohanj always stresses on doing our dharma properly. And I’m really grateful to Him that He gave me enough strength to serve my Mother until 20th May. Mohanji was supposed to come that morning to meet my Mother. And on the same day at 9 am, my Father fell in the market and my husband immediately took him to the doctor to get an X-ray done.

Mother with Mohanji
Mother with Mohanji

As Mohanji knows everything, He arrived at my place at 11:30 to meet my Mother. She did His aarati and sang bhajans for Him. And they had such a beautiful conversation related to Lord Krishna and Radha. Mohanji told her that death is not ugly, it’s beautiful. He made her laugh and consoled her as she was really worried about my Father, who was with the doctor for his X-ray. He gave us so much strength.  There were so many things going on, but with His presence, we were feeling extremely light and were in a thoughtless state. My Mother was in an ultimate state of bliss as her last desire of meeting Mohanji was fulfilled.

My Father was also fortunate to meet Mohanji. Mohanji blessed him and told him in advance that it was a thigh bone fracture. My Father was admitted on the same day for surgery. The same evening, my Mother’s health started deteriorating and she was admitted in ICU for breathlessness on 22nd. My Father also had surgery on the same day. I told Mohanji about my Mother’s condition, which He already knew. He said He’s aware of my Mother’s condition. This is why He came and met her as a priority and told me not to worry as He’s with her. It was a very tough situation for us. Mohanji told me that He’s with both of them and He’s reducing the intensity as much as possible. If not for Mohanji’s grace, I would have collapsed in such a situation where I was feeling exhausted in every way.

Dr Wasir
Mother with Dr Wasir

In ICU, my Mother was pouring unconditional love and blessings on everyone around her. My friends were meeting her on a daily basis as they wanted to take blessings from her. They felt Mohanji’s immense energies in her. Her wish to meet Dr Wasir also got fulfilled when he came to meet her in ICU. During her last breath, she got a chance to listen to Mohanji Gayatri on the phone in Preeti Di’s blissful voice. That was the last thing she heard. Mohanji didn’t leave even a single desire of her’s unfulfilled. When Mother left her body, I was at peace as I knew that my Baba Sai and Mohanji were standing beside her. Mohanji told me that I only concentrate on the rituals and to not forget to feed the sick, children, old women, animals and birds in her name. Rest He’s taking care and she’s fine. So I need not worry.

Immediately after this message, I started thinking about feeding the sick, old women and children. To my surprise, I found a number of a lady in my phone list who runs an NGO and she guided me to go to cancer patients at AIIMS. When I went there, I found children, women and old people altogether. How masters help us can’t be defined in words. I didn’t know anything and Mohanji guided me at every step for a smooth transition for my mother, as that was my biggest concern, and which Mohanji was already doing. Whatever I’m writing is not even an inch of praise for my Gurudev. What countless merits of previous births have given us this wonderful opportunity to be in the shadow of such an Avadhoota.

mohanji-soul-is-imperishable

There was another amazing experience which I want to mention here. Before my Mother’s body arrived at the cremation ground, my son took the ambulance to a Gurdwara which is near to our house. As he reached there, he saw Sri Guru Nanak standing at the gate and he saw a big light coming from him and merging into my Mother’s body! My Mother used to follow the Sikh religion completely and was a great follower of Sri Guru Nanak. In the end, just by connecting to Mohanji, she reached the ultimate.

On the 13th day after her death, which is the time for the soul’s transition, my Sister organized Mohanji’s satsang at my place. When the playing list was on, Mohanji’s Nirvana Shatakam also started playing automatically side by side. As before, through this obvious episode, I first strongly felt Mohanji’s presence. We were surprised as Nirvana Shatakam is one of the rare verses written by Sri Adi Sankara Bhagavatpada, identifying himself as Lord Shiva and clearly explaining his theory of non-dualism. I was at peace to know that my Mother was with Mohanji forever through this amazing experience. By chanting His name in her last days, my Mother’s soul merged into Guru’s consciousness forever. The Guru does become the linking factor, a channel for putting the wandering lost soul back into contact with its source.

Mohanji, you were the light for me in the dark. You were always an inspiration and an aspiration. You made me come out of my ignorance. I learned to deal with the issue, all due to you. Please keep me at Your lotus feet always. I am nothing but the dust of your feet, my Gurudev. Guru is like Shiva, without the Trisul in his hand. Guru is like Vishnu without the Chakra in His hand. Guru is like Brahma without the four heads. So now you can conclude that Guru is the Supreme Power on the Earth.

Mohanji Satcharita – Chapter 9 – Divine umbrella of love and care

mohanji-on-spirituality

We bring to you the sixth story in the Mohanji Satcharita series – Chapter 9. Deepali Bais narrates one of her innumerable experiences in which she has felt Mohanji’s loving presence.

Divine umbrella of love and care

By Deepali Bais

Spirituality is a very interesting journey and for us, it has unfolded many tales which are embedded deep in our hearts. Since the time we have been associated with Mohanji i.e. since 2012, there have been innumerable experiences showing His loving presence in our lives. We always thought of cherishing it in our hearts, but of late the need for sharing has become important as our loving Mohanji never expects anything in return.

The experience I share here is special in many ways.

Life puts us through seemingly difficult phases to check our preparation for the next phase and to gauge our reaction through these testing times. A situation unfolded with us recently when our son came back from playing on the evening of 31st Jan 2019.

Generally, we don’t expect many visitors in the evening, hence when the doorbell rang in three quick successions, we were alarmed. Before my husband (Anurag) could reach the door, my son could not wait any longer and turned the latch and gave one big push to the door and it sprang open. During the next few seconds, I could hear a conversation between Anurag and my son. Anurag announced that we have to take him immediately to the hospital as it appeared to be a fracture in his arm. Then I noticed my son holding his left arm with his right hand and writhing in pain. He told that whilst taking a turn, he had slipped and fallen from his bicycle and one bhaiya (elder boy) dropped him home by carrying his bicycle. He was gasping for breath. Anurag washed his face and gave him a glass of water to drink while I got ready.

The moment I saw him crying with pain, tears rolled down my cheeks and I broke down. Without any reminder, I started chanting the mantra given to me by Mohanji in 2012. This mantra has become a part of my life since 2012 and for a long time. I have never felt the need to chant it consciously and loudly as it would repeat itself within me in auto mode effortlessly, very much similar to our breath.

I was continuously chanting the mantra and remembering our beloved Mohanji. We all know we need not tell Him or ask help from Him. He is protecting us 24×7, but the mother in me was worried about seeing my child in pain.

Various thoughts crossed my mind as we were getting ready to go to the hospital. Since his exams were near, our worries started compounding. Anurag put a cloth under my son’s arm and tied it up carefully around his neck to give him some comfort.

Mohanji I am

As Mohanji says,

I am always around you and you need to just “SWITCH ON”.

Within a span of 10 minutes during our drive to the hospital, I started feeling strong vibrations on my forehead along with a mild circular motion on the third eye. I am sure many can relate to this feeling/sensation. This is how I have felt Mohanji’s energy from the time we have been connected with Him. My eyes became really heavy. I felt strong vibrations and shivers in the whole body and I knew He was around, protecting us. During all this, I continued chanting.

The moment we reached the hospital, it was 20:00 and hence only the Duty Doctor was available. The doctor called the radiology department duty person and asked him to take an X-Ray. I was sitting in the waiting room chanting and my husband took my son for an X-ray.

The first X-Ray showed some signs of a fracture and when Anurag announced it to me, my heart sank. Somehow I felt that something was not convincing but looking at the X-Ray, I didn’t raise any queries. During all this, I continuously felt Mohanji’s presence around me and also the assurance that all is fine.

The doctor then sent the photo of the X-Ray to the Orthopedic specialist to seek his opinion. The specialist asked him to take an X-Ray of the right hand too along with the X-Ray of the left hand from other angles.

As we were waiting for the specialist’s opinion, we were mentally prepared for the cast being put on the left arm and the possible consequences in the near future due to final exams just around the corner. Anurag had also taken an appointment for renewal of passport for my son a day prior and had already paid the fee. He and my son were to appear at the Passport Office the next day i.e. on 01 Feb 2019. So he was thinking of cancelling the appointment and was mentally making plans for a future appointment which would be possible only after the exams. He was worried since taking an appointment is really difficult and to cancel the appointment, he has to go through all the procedures again.

As the photos of subsequent X-rays were also relayed to the specialist we waited for his opinion. Suddenly the news came that it was not a fracture, but only a tissue or muscle damage. A sense of relief and euphoria engulfed me although a requirement to put a cast was still there to allow the tissue some time to heal. It felt as though a heavy load was lifted from my head as soon as I got to hear this. Additionally, it was a slab for minor support to the hand and not a complete cast.

Mohanji

Within a span of 30 minutes, things changing from a fracture to tissue damage WAS SO MAGICAL. Though the healing and treatment took some time, the way Mohanji had reduced the impact is difficult to put in words. We have no words to explain the feeling. This is how masters operate and protect you in difficult times. We are indebted by the unconditional love showered by Mohanji.

After the cast was put, the doctor asked us to take an appointment with the specialist for the next day and then we left the hospital. Next day, Anurag took our son to the Orthopaedic specialist where he reiterated his stand that it was not a fracture and instructed us to continue with the cast for the next three weeks. Anurag mentioned to me later that when they left the hospital at around 10:30 hrs, he thought of giving a try at the passport office for his appointment as well. An appointment was scheduled at 11:15 hrs.

token
Token with the number 108

Though slightly late, they started at around 11:00 hrs and reached the venue at around 11:30 hrs. They both managed to enter the office. Then an interesting thing happened. As they were waiting to show the documents, a token had to be generated. This token is your identity as one goes through various phases of verification. Hence, after checking the documents at the first counter, the token was generated which showed in big bold letters “108” thus signifying Mohanji’s presence throughout the ordeal. All the necessary paperwork was completed and his application was accepted.

Anurag mentioned to me that since the morning, he was mentally remembering Mohanji, both at the hospital and also during the appointment at the passport office. The entire sequence of events is proof that Mohanji’s grace is always available waiting to be tapped. Life generally goes through various ups and downs in a cyclic manner with few spikes (signifying testing times). These spikes have an inherent tendency to test your mental toughness so that you witness your every move as you tide over the situation. This situation reminds me of the scene from the movie “Life of Pi” where the main character in the middle of a cyclone, pleads with God to test him more. During these testing times, one’s connection with Mohanji is the only real and unbreakable connection which helps one to sail through.

So when the number 108 appeared on the sheet of paper, it brought tears in Anurag’s eyes. He was spellbound. He stood motionless for a moment in that crowded room as if time had stopped. A gush of fresh air filled his lungs and assured him of Mohanji’s presence which ultimately led to the completion of this complicated paper action. Such is the grace of Mohanji that we cannot comprehend. I bow down to Mohanji and the universal energy which is manifesting through Him.

Words are less to encompass Mohanji’s grace and stature. We are blessed to have Him in our lives.

Pranaams at His lotus feet!

A blessing for Guru Purnima

By Sonia Gandhi, Australia

It was early morning, around 5:00 am, on the 1st of July 2019. I was transported in a dream state to a place with rural settings. It looked similar to the locations on the way to Mt. Kailash.

I was in a small shelter with many others. I saw Mohanji there and He was getting ready to leave. So, along with the others, I stood near the door to see Him off.

A few people were talking with Him, asking for some help, to which He lovingly said as always,

“It will be taken care of.”

He wore His shoes and was about to go; I was keen to touch His feet and get His blessings. As I bent down to touch His feet, He took His shoes off for me. My heart melted in His love and with trembling hands, I bowed down to touch His feet.

Then I heard my voice coming from the deepest core of my being. It was from the soul level and not from the mind, body, or intellect. It was one of the very few times when I knew it was my highest self talking. My voice said: “I deeply, completely, surrender at your lotus feet Mohanji, with utmost humility and gratitude, with everything I ever was and I ever will be.”

And behold! All of a sudden, His feet turned into light, a light that was brighter than the brightest light! I could not see my hands touching His feet anymore, although I felt completely drenched in that snowy, white light. Slowly with complete oneness, I saw Sai Baba emerging out of that light in the form of light itself, and I could see him. The form of Sai Baba then turned into the form of Shiva, absolutely stunning in white light and finally changed into Shree Anjaneya. All of them appeared to have emerged from the white light and merged back into it.

I woke up from this dream state with a heart full of love and my eyes full of tears. I felt this was Mohanji’s gift to me, at the start of this auspicious month of Guru Purnima. The day of the Guru Purnima has always been the most special day of my life for the past 12 years.

It is said that Masters are extremely active and very close to the earth, during the 15 days before and after Guru Purnima. It is a very special time to connect to the Source and with one’s higher self.

The bliss that this dream or astral vision has given me is not comparable. I can feel the heat of the energy expanding within me every day since then.

Is there an end to His love? No, there isn’t. My little mind is not capable of understanding what He is, but my heart just melts with His presence in my life. Gratitude and only gratitude.

Mohanji Satcharita – Chapter 9 – “Flow with Life”

flow forward

In this series of Mohanji Satcharita – Chapter 9, We bring to you a recent incident in Sreeja’s life where she felt the grace and protection of Mohanji during very trying times.

Please read other Mohanji Satcharita stories from this Chapter!

Flow with life…….

By Sreeja Ranjit

“I SEE YOU WHEN YOU SEE ME…
I SEE YOU EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T SEE ME…
I AM ALWAYS WITH YOU…
WATCHING YOU… PROTECTING YOU….” – Mohanji

Mohanji always keeps His word. He is always with us in consciousness, protecting us from unknown dangers that lurk in the dark. I have no words to express my gratitude for His protection 24/7.

Our family, comprising of my husband, myself and our son have recently moved to Ethiopia as my husband got a job here. It has only been two months since we have joined my husband. It’s a new place and we are only getting to know the place slowly. Mohanji always says to accept changes wholeheartedly without resistance and to just flow where destiny takes us. So, even though things were difficult here compared to India, we were adapting to the whole new atmosphere well.

letting go

Then suddenly, this June 22nd night, attackers shot and killed the governor and two other top government officials in Ethiopia. On the same night in Addis Ababa, the country’s army chief and his close friend, a retired army general were assassinated inside his residence by his bodyguard. 6 top government officials were also assassinated on the same night, throwing the country into a lot of anger, fear and helplessness. They disabled all phone connections the same night for security reasons.

The 23rd morning we woke up with no data connectivity either through Wi-Fi or mobile, and no calls if you left the city limits. No incoming calls from outside the country either. My husband was supposed to travel at 5 am by a flight on June 24th to two of the regions most affected by the incident and where riots would soon start off. I shudder to think what would have happened if this incident had happened after he left. We would be totally cut off from him. On top of that, the US embassy had issued alerts about reported gunfire in the capital Addis Ababa, and violence around Amhara’s main city Bahir Dar. Everybody was asked to stay at home. But as usual, beloved Mohanji took care that we remained safe and sound.

Now, things don’t end there. My husband’s Superior called up and said it’s going to be the month end, these kinds of things will happen and he should be on the next flight on June 25th. We were shocked. We could not believe our ears in fact. My husband argued that it’s not safe and the nation was on a blackout and alerts were on local news channels not to travel etc. Also, he can’t make calls from there due to no network connectivity and he can’t leave his family alone. But all his pleadings fell on deaf ears. I got really scared as then we have to stay alone here in the independent villa we have rented without any connection with the world outside and was really scared about his going to a place which was not considered safe. Any time riots can break out. I cried out to Mohanji as usual and kept praying ceaselessly to help us in this situation. Only He could help us.

My husband called me on the way to book the tickets as the online booking was not happening as the internet had been blocked. We were blocked for 10 days with no connectivity. Airport officials had asked him to come directly and book the flight. Flights were running as scheduled. I started praying to Mohanji and in between our conversations had complete faith that He will take care.

And yes, He did. All flights had been cancelled from the next day! Until the day my husband went to enquire and book his flight, all flights had flown out at correct timings. When he gave me a call to inform me about this miracle, I knew in my heart my beloved Mohanji had taken care as usual. We also came to know that the Superior had been asked to leave the company for a different set of reasons.

Grace

Another issue while trying to settle down in the new country was also taken care of by Mohanji. My son had given the admission test for his 7th-grade school enrollment. There is only one good school here which follows the Cambridge syllabus and admission is tough. We got to know they were not taking any new admissions for the 7th grade as it was already full. I was sad but then suddenly remembered Mohanji’s words.

Whatever happens, just accept and go with the flow. – Mohanji

I mentally prayed to Mohanji to let whatever is best for him to happen. I felt really better afterwards and we decided to wait a few more days and to send him back to India. But within 2 days, we got a call from the school saying that he was admitted and he was the only one whom they had selected out of the 10 students who wrote the test. I cannot express in words the immense gratitude to my beloved Guru Mohanji who is omnipresent and silently there with us all the time.

Mohanji always takes care. It is for us to see His grace and protection and own our experiences.

Thank you Mohanji for showering your grace, love and protection on us always.

Koti koti pranaams at your lotus feet.
Jai jai Mohanji…sharanam sharanam Mohanji.

be cool

The Guru who liberates!

Mohanji on liberation

By Devadas, Palakkad, Kerala

Lord Shiva has said to Devi Parvati in Guru Gita (Shloka # 169),

Maata dhanyaa pitaa dhanyo, dhanyo vamsah kulam tathaa,
Dhanyaa ca Vasudhaa Devi, Gurubhaktih sudurlabhaa.

which means,

Blessed is the mother (of a devoted disciple), blessed is the father, and blessed is the family and ancestry. O Goddess, (such) devotion to Guru is very rare.

When we connect to the Guru, not just we but our families, our lineage, forefathers and even future generations also come under the protection of the Guru.

I recently experienced this eternal truth through a bitter situation in my life. This is a very personal matter and in a normal scenario, I wouldn’t have openly discussed it. However, when I realised how my Guru Mohanji’s protection has worked, I felt it’s no longer a personal matter to keep it to myself. I felt I must share with the world how powerful the connection with our Master can be.

My only brother, in his mid-50s, recently took a drastic action of committing suicide leaving his young family behind. In our entire family or even known relatives, we have never had such an incident. We belong to a religious and ritualistic Hindu Brahmin family and are aware of how a soul goes through immense pain and stays bound when a person commits suicide. In the last many years, our whole family has been going through immense pain and incidents of drastic nature have been happening. Every such incident seems to bring our whole lineage down.

Although a ritualistic Hindu by birth, after marriage my brother converted to a different religion. Going through many ups and down in his life, something made him take such a drastic step. With this incident, I was really worried about the pain that his soul would go through. I cried out to my Guru Mohanji.

Anytime, during any trouble, my heart first cries out to Mohanji. He has been protecting not only me but my entire family too. During this particular time, Guru Mohanji was not in India.

suffering

In this condition, Anitha, my wife’s sister who is also a Mai-Tri practitioner, offered to give me a Mai-Tri session. The Mai-Tri session was immensely powerful. It was as if Mohanji Himself came and gave me a message.

Anitha had a clear vision of Mohanji and Kailash during the session and saw very vividly how Mohanji was protecting me. She also received a message that I must speak to Devi Amma.

After the Mai-Tri session, when she conveyed this to me, I was speechless. I understood that this was a direct command from Mohanji. I must tell you that Mohanji loves and respects Devi Amma a lot. Devi Amma considers Mohanji as her spiritual brother.

Hence without further delay, I called up Devi Amma in Bangalore and narrated my brother’s incident to her. Devi Amma assured me that she will ask ‘Appa’ (Rishi Agastya) and let me know. A couple of days later, Devi Amma conveyed an important message. This message left me awestruck. She conveyed that Rishi Agastya sent her a clear message that my brother’s soul has crossed over to the other side very smoothly. He had conveyed that this was only possible because of a connection to a higher Master.

Devi Amma explained to me then in simple terms that my connection with Mohanji has ensured the grace and protection of the Guru for my family and relatives, including my brother. This is why even though the soul had left through a drastic step such as suicide, instead of wandering and suffering, my Guru had enabled the soul to cross the boundaries and set it free from its bindings.

Mohanji connection

These words may seem unbelievable, but I had no doubt about this truth as these were authenticated by a living Master like Devi Amma! She revealed this truth about the power of this wonderful connection to my Guru and how this connection can pull the whole lineage out of any ditch!

Then I was reminded of another important incident. This was regarding my father. Though he was a born Hindu Brahmin, he was an atheist and he did not understand the Guru Tatwa (Guru Principle). My father sold the land which had a century old “Naga temple” to a non-Hindu person who demolished it. I was worried about this mishap and the repercussions this incident could bring to our whole family. I had not met Mohanji at that time. Maybe it was the Guru Mandala’s grace that was working; I was inspired to build a Naga temple in one of my lands. This was my way of penance for the mistake that my father did. Those were the days that my wife and I were desperately praying for Lord Krishna to come to our family as a child! Well, Krishna didn’t come as a child, but he came in the form of “Mohanji.” My Guru appeared in my life. After Mohanji accepted me and blessed me, He also blessed my whole family and lineage.

It was very evident that during the last breath of my father, Mohanji had ensured a very smooth, literally pain-free exit for him. Even though my father was not a follower of Mohanji and was unaware of the protection that he was receiving from my Guru, he had a very smooth exit.

My brother’s case was yet another proof of the Master’s protection for the entire family and lineage. Not only this. When Mohanji returned to India, one day at His Bangalore home, during a discussion with other devotees on this incident, He said,

“I am looking after Devadas very dearly. He and his family have been suffering for lifetimes. This lifetime, I will ensure that suffering is not repeated anymore. He and the entire lineage are being taken care of.”

My friend and Mohanji Acharya Kishore conveyed this message to me. I had no words to express my gratitude to my Guru Mohanji. My tears knew no boundaries. I am so thankful to the Tradition for allowing me to meet my eternal Master Mohanji in this lifetime and guiding me towards liberation.

Thank you Mohanji. Koti koti pranaams at your feet.

With my heart full of devotion, I offer the following poem at my Guru’s feet.

Guru Mohana nayanam sharanam
Guru Mohana Vadanam sharanam
Guru Mohana Charanam sharanam
Bhava saagara taranam. ||1||

Guru Mohana hasitam sharanam
Guru Mohana vachanam sharanam
Guru Mohana vasanam sharanam
Bhava saagara taranam. ||2||

Guru Mohana rupam sharanam
Guru Mohana mantram sharanam
Guru Mohana mananam sharanam
Bhava saagara taranam. ||3||

Guru Mohana dhyanam sharanam
Guru Mohana bodham sharanam
Guru Mohana darshan sukrutat
Mama pooritha layanam
Parapooritha layanam ||4||

Here is a link to the beautiful way our dear Mohanji Acharya Sathya converted this poem into a beautiful song.
